Family in town- this was the perfect place to have dinner overlooking the city
Salty's for brunch is fantastic! So much variety especially for the seafood lovers. It's a hit with food and you can't beat the amazing views of Seattle.
Great views, food, and service. We had a 10AM reservation for their weekend brunch and were seated almost immediately. It was crowded, but we never had to wait long for anything.
Great anniversary dinner for my parents, a perfect corner window table and amazing food. The card from the staff and the rose petals were just icing on the cake. Thank you for a great night!
This will definitely become a yearly tradition. A variety of well prepared and tasty choices for all different food requirements that my family have. Well worth the price, and no clean up after everyone is done.
Excellent Thanksgiving Buffet! Turkey, gravy, yams with marshmallows were great! The green beans, Brussels sprouts, and squash were all perfect! Favorite things from the buffet were the deviled eggs with crab and caviar, the Mac and cheese which had a nice spicy sausage in it, and the dark chocolate cups with the mint creme for dessert. Lots of other main course dishes there and sides. There were plenty of other desserts there too - apple cake, white chocolate raspberry cupcakes - both were great, I could eat half of each of them (I had hardly any room for dessert). We had an Argentine Malbec with dinner which went well with just about everything. My only complaints would be that the roast lamb was a little dry, and that the place was crowded.
Fabulous server with the most amazing buffet for Thanksgiving! Definitely worth the price!
What an amazing place to spend with your loved ones. Dinner was incredible and the views were spectacular. This might just be my go to place for Thanksgiving from now on.
I've had lunch / dinner at Salty's in the past and have enjoyed the food. I decided to try the Thanksgiving buffet. The food was plentiful and varied (but some needed a bit more flavor (salt)). The shrimp scampi was very flavorful, the lamb a little bland. I enjoyed the mignonettes. The desserts were tiny (but a good thing so that I could sample pretty much all of them)
The waitperson was attentive and responsive to our needs.
The time was limited so no time to be leisurely in eating but I managed to feel pretty stuffed when leaving.
We've had Saltys regular buffet but this was our first holiday. The best part were fresh oysters & crab legs but those are available at a normal buffet. Everything else was just ok. There really wasn't anything festive or out of the ordinary. Turkey & stuffing aren't special & certainly wouldn't be worth the high price. It was a regular Saltys buffet without the much anticipated bloody Mary bar. Joseph, our server was outstanding even though we had to request an iced tea refill. Unlimited mimosas would be nice & would help take the sting out of the price. The only big negative was watching a male employee working the area with the olives, salami, cheese, rolls etc. I watched him unknowingly drag the towel in his left hand all over the salami & cheese while tidying up. Overall it was ok but won't return. Just not worth the price. Oh, one last thing. The music selection was horrible. Who wants to listen to loud rock n roll? It wasn't relaxing listening to American Woman by the Guess Who.
Thanksgiving Brunch. We arrived at 11 am so maybe experience is different late in the day. We seated promptly after getting a cup of coffee and snack in waiting room. Salty's was totally on top of the brunch. Not too crowded. Food constantly replenished and fresh. Attentive service.
We dined there for lunch on Nov 25 at 12 noon and had Chris as our server.
The service was awesome as well as the food and atmosphere.
Thank you Salty's for making my work friends birthday lunch the best ever!
It's a great place for out of towners as well as though of us who live in the great Northwest! Always very fresh fish, wonderful choices of everything at the brunch and the view is just spectacular. The one thing that I did notice this time around was that the noise level was very high. A little bit distracting for truly intimate conversation. Our server, Adam, was magnificent! Very attentive, not overbearing and very polite, courteous and professional! Love the complimentary valet parking! Wonderful for people with physical disabilities.
Great food, attentive service throughout our visit, from the valet onward everyone was happy to see us. Special kudos to our waiter Greg who was spot on with his suggestions.
Mary, our server, was very professional. She knew the menu and made some outstanding recommendations. I also talked to Maria about moving our reservation up when our plans changed at 4pm that day. She was able to get us in 45 minutes later At 4:30 we were in the bar having drinks when we noticed the restaurant and bar sections filling up and were glad Salty’s had the flexibility to move our reservation. We all were very happy with our visit to Salty’s.
Best brunch you can possibly have in the Seattle area. Everything is perfect - from the service to the food to the view. Could not recommend this place enough, especially if you're a seafood lover.
Great food, service, and ambiance.
As always a very fine experience, service was superb, food was great.
Food was OK this time (have visited several times before and food was better then). Service was rushed it seemed to me. Waiter was quick to take order, quick to put it in, and quick to bang out first dish before I could even get settled good. Immediately just as I was finishing first dish, the second dish was placed in front of me. After that, the waiter disappeared, and he didn't come back to my table until he dropped the check on the table. Place was busy but not overly so. The rushed service made for a disappointimg experience. I did not feel like a valued customer.
Always delightful to have business lunch at Salty's. Again, the food was excellent, service superb and of course the views spectacular.
Salty's is a Classic Seattle Restaurant. The views are Great, the food is good, although a bit Salty for my taste:). It was my Birthday and I was treated to the "standard" fanfare like all the Birthdays around me as well. It was routine and what made it special was my company.
Salty’s never disappoints.
The service was outstanding! The food was good, not great; i.e. overpriced. Scenic view in a clear night was beautiful.
A great experience all around. Known for being a high end seafood restaurant, I was shocked at how big the portions were. Food, ambience, service and most of all the view were to notch!
As we stated it was a birthday everything was wonderful . From the wait staff to the food. Outstanding as always. We started by the fire where it was still chilly and one of the wait persons she over heard and got me a blanket. How thoughtful and unexpected. The manger on duty was extremely personable as well as our wait person he was excellent. Our first official date was at Salty's 27 years ago. If we could of been made to feel any more special we would have moved in ;) Thanks for keeping Salty's a place We will Always visit!
Over all it was great. They worked with us when family ended up bringing more guests. We had great seats and our waitress was amazing!
We had a beautiful brunch at Salty’s! The choices were over the top. The service was excellent. I would recommend for a special occasion or for just anytime.
Amazing as always. Salty’s will always be on our to do list when we’re here.
Always a fabulous experience and the food is so good! So many choices!
Everything here was amazing including the view of the city
Salty’s on Alki was an amazing experience! The entire staff was very welcoming and professional. The food was amazing! And the view you get of the city is an experience in itself. I highly recommend this place if you want great tasting food with excellent customer service. They really know what they are doing at this restaurant!
It was an amazing experience view of Seattle is gorgeous and food fantastic I will definitely dine again
We went to Salty's with our son and his wife on their first trip to Seattle together and we were able to get a window seat with a beautiful evening skyline view. The service was AWESOME! friendly, professional and very very informative and helpful with information about food, Seattle and the surrounding area of Alki Beach. Truly a fantastic experience. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
David was great! He was informative of items and good suggestion for our lunch.
Truly enjoyed our visit to Saly’s for Sunday Brunch. The food was wonderful, with a great selection. The staff was extremely friendly and worked to make the time enjoyable. We definitely will plan to return soon
We celebrated my niece's first birthday with Salty's famous weekend brunch. Everyone was incredible friendly and we left with a very full tummy and wonderful experience. Also an adorable birthday book for my niece. Thank you so much Salty's!
Celebrated my daughter's 15th birthday there. As always, it was a great time and the food was really delicious. The service staff was very attentive and the line staff was always helpful with any questions. We always enjoy going to Salty's and are looking forward to the next visit!
While always a wonderful experience, today we celebrated our anniversary and Katie made it especially wonderful.
