Steakhouse
Our story dates back to the 1800s when millions of Longhorns roamed freely throughout Texas. With the taste for beef becoming a newfound favorite in the North, Texas ranchers prospered as never before. Each winter, the Longhorn were driven to the Texas Gulf Coast to graze on the rich coastal salt grass. And when they headed for market, they followed the legendary Salt Grass Trail, known far and wide for creating the best beef in the Lone Star State. In 1952, this historic trail ride was revived by four riders to publicize the opening of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. Today, the ride has become an annual celebration of the original Texas spirit. The first Saltgrass Steak House still stands along this historic trail. Saltgrass Steak House recaptures the flavor of the open campfire. Steaks, chicken and seafood, chargrilled to perfection. Complete with breads, soups, and desserts, made from scratch daily. I would avoid this location there is too many good places to eat in Las vegas. I ordered a steak and it was to be cooked medium and half of it was burnt they couldn't even get the meals to the right people we had to switch them after they served the table. I asked for a baked potato with extra butter and I got a potato with butter and sour cream. They gave my wife the wrong salad. In other words I don't think they had one thing right! I will never eat at this location ever again.

The ribs were a dream. They just fell off of the bone. It was one of the best meals I’ve has this week in Vegas. The price was right too.

To be honest, I didn’t expect much. But it was better than I thought. I started with a shrimp cocktail which was pretty good (3,75 out of 5 stars), followed by a 16oz RibEye med rare (3,75/5) ... I added some grilled shrimp at $9,99 but this was very disappointing since they charged $2,50 a piece - for a very tiny little shrimp... Drinks were ok, nice pour, Tito’s Brand. Would I return? Probably. Service was polite and efficient.

When we got to the restaurant we got there a little early. The hostess said they would seat us closer to our reservation time. Not a problem I stated. so about 10 min later they came and took us to our table. The table was beside the glass that looked outside to the pool and aquarium. The temperature was nice at first but it got cooler as time went on. If you go make sure if your sitting in this area it's not at night on a cold night. Other than that the food was great and filling. Nice place to go and eat. We will go again.

Celebrated the daughter’s birthday. They do not give a complimentary piece of cake, you need to purchase a slice for about $10. I also went to have shiner bock beer with my dinner and they do not have it. Well, the food was good and service was fast. Not sure if it is because of Covid, but the experience is not the same as the Laughlin location.
