A very good place to eat if you're a fish lover! Chefs are experienced resulting in beautifully tasting dishes . Very accommodating if you ask to tweak your chosen dish.
My only advice as a very regular guest would be to rethink the dessert menu.

Lindisfarne Oysters are fantastic as a starter for 2. We followed this with Crab on Toast, Salad, Fries and a big bowl of Muscles. Washed down with a white wine. Lovely experience with a calm ambience

Lovely relaxed atmosphere - beautiful fresh food and produce - perfect late afternoon lunch.

During COVID this is one of a few places where I feel safe. Everyone wears masks when they serve you and everything is sanitised when guests leave.
This visit we enjoyed King prawn tempura and prawn cocktail. Both were delicious. Our main courses were blackboard special of cod and seafood platter. Again both were delicious and cooked to perfection.
Our waiter sorry I did not get his name but I think he was Spanish was very attentive without being pushy.
We will return
