Saint Urban
Saint Urban was the Bishop of Langres in France in the 4th Century and was persecuted for his beliefs. He was protected by the vine-dressers in his parish, who hid him in their vineyards. He in turn, converted them to Christianity. Saint Urban is called upon to protect anyone in the wine industry against blight and alcoholism.
The suburban restaurant, which is part of the Punch Lane family, has quickly established itself as a jewel in Swan Street’s culinary crown.
Inspired by the quaint European buildings in France, Saint Urban is a local watering hole and meeting place, which brings people from all walks of like together to enjoy spectacular food and drinks at a great price.

The service at Saint Urban is exceptional. The team clearly love what they do. The food is also excellent, and it’s a place we keep going back to for special occasions.

Particularly excellent service delivered in a most welcoming way. Food was outstanding - all dishes were beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. Very good selection of wines are on offer and were much enjoyed. A deservedly popular restaurant.
We arrived early but they still had our table ready,i booked for outside but they put us inside which was a blessing as it was hot,lovely food,just a little different than most which is nice,they did not have the wine we ordered but gave us a great alternative ,we are regulars and they have never let us down a local favorite

Had the amazing “bottomless brunch” here on the weekend and it’s so good! Every course was tasty and came out to us quickly. Staff on hand to constantly top up drinks and we could not have been happier. We sat outside so street noise was a thing but lots of space indoors if you are looking for quiet. Recommend!

Found it nice but extremely expensive, over 40 dollars per person the cheaper set menu for 4 tapas with no drink (alcohol not included)
I think you might be referring to the bottomless brunch which is $42.50pp (food only )5 smaller courses , leek and cheese croquette , open prawn Danish , baked eggs purgatory and sourdough roll , Piri Piri marinated quail Caesar salad finished with rum soaked shaved pineapple with coconut sorbet . For$65pp for 1.5 hrs which includes drinks of Aperol Spritz, Peroni Beers and French Rose. Glad you enjoyed the quality the ingredients and technique are defiantly on point .
Saint Urban is fantastic, the food is delicious 5/5 and the atmosphere has a rustic French vibe. Our waiter was so helpful and friendly, he really made our evening. The service was smooth and well organised. I will definitely be returning with my partner 😊

Wonderful Lunch at Saint Urban. Last minute booking and we sat on the front verandah looking onto Swan Street. We had the set menu. Delicious offerings including baked eggs, prawns, quail Caesar, coconut gelato with carpaccio and mint which was the perfect dessert. Lunch includes Aperol Sprits and wine. We were looked after beautifully by St Urbans knowledgeable and charming staff.

The set menu of 2 courses for $65 was quite pricey for the size of the meals. Sides were definitely needed which pushes it up to around $90 per head before you add drinks. The dessert was delicious and the service from the staff was great. Each person that came to our table had the same friendly energy and gave us a very enjoyable experience. Will definitely be back.

Thanks for the feedback , we actually had the heating on however running with the Covid rules its a little tricky as you can imagine with the majority of table being outside, wish we could do more andf that summer delivered some warmer weather . Hope you enjoyed yourself :) cheers
In these times (COVID 19, Restrictions in Melbourne), very important to cross-check with restaurant's website and what is shared on Opentable.
We sat down for dinner at 830pm and we weren’t served our mains till 11pm.

The service was very attentive and accommodating as someone who is gluten intolerant. However, we were disppointed with the outside covered seating as there was cold draught despite the heaters and the steak I ordered was unevely cooked which I commented on after receiving the bill.
One dish came a bit cold. Overall service was great and atmosphere / noise level really appreciated. Thank you!

Service was wonderful, and the entrees were delicious. However, the snapper Kyiv main was undercooked, we sent it back and the kitchen very kindly sent out a new plate, which was also undercooked, we are talking cold and raw in the middle. They were successful on a third attempt, but only after the Kyiv had been cut in half and cooked By which point in the interest that you had in the dish had well and truly vanished.
Service was incredibly friendly, and the food was amazing!

We had a balcony table to absorb Richmond’s Evening ambience. The waiters were very attentive . The food was amazing. The “feed me” menu would be my choice next time.
