Sails Noosa, in Noosa Heads, is a restaurant that prides itself on serving contemporary Australian cuisine made with seasonal and local produce in its charming beachside eatery. The charred ciabatta bread with house smoked trout butter and the freshly shucked oysters with shallot vinegar with caraway grissini bread sticks make delectable appetizer options. Some of Sails Noosa's specialties include seafood dishes, such as the scorched miso marinated toothfish fillet with pickled watermelon radish and orange miso, the barbecue mud crab slathered in roast garlic butter and the mahi mahi beer battered fish and chips. Not in the mood for seafood? Sails Noosa also has sumptuous land fare, such as the grass-fed steak in mushroom butter, as well as vegetarian dishes, like the baked butternut pumpkin-filled zucchini flowers with potato gnocchi and pesto.
Sails Noosa is also an exceptional events space for both public and private functions.
We loved our dinner at Sails. The food was delicious and the wait staff was friendly and really good.
We loved it. Thank you
Our most favourite place to eat in Noosa. The sashimi and pavlova are amazing!
Such a beautiful location and have such fond memories of it so it is a ritual to go to every time we are in Noosa, however I feel it is being overtaken by some other restaurants these days.
Thank you for a wonderful evening. The food was divine and the wait staff excelled. It was a great end to a holiday with friends.
Good food and service great! I think for the location it could do with refurbishment. It’s quite dated
Really lovely location on the due of the beach, the food is tasty and nicely presented and the staff were charming. The roast duck special was extremely nice
Great location. Staff were very attentive. The lamb shoulder is perfection!
Nice location and very good food quality Recommended for. Very nice dinner out on beach
Fabulous location. Food excellent and staff very attentive
Great food, great service, great view. Will be heading back!
Lovely food, exceptional service, great view, reasonably priced.
We had a great dinner experience at sails , would highly recommend to any one looking for a 5 star dinner
Absolutely love Sails every time we visit Noosa it is a must do and once again did not disappoint!!!
Sitting at the front of the restaurant is a boy is a bonus as you are almost on the beach of Noosa .
Oysters, Salmon , Barramundi ( next time I will ask for sauce on the side ) were all excellent . Waiter very friendly & professional One of our favourite Noosa restaurants .
We have the most delicious dinner. Enjoyed every mouthful!
Food was great service was wonderful would definitely be back
As always, perfect. We arrived early but were accommodated graciously. The food was wonderful. I have never been disappointed at Sails, and this visit was no exception.
Over rated. It was busy at lunchtime, which I’m sure they are often, but the service was inconsistent. Very slow delivery, except for a couple of tables that appeared to be favoured locals. Also really noisy. The seafood linguine turned up covered in cheese (not mentioned on the menu), and more tomato sauce than seafood.
Great food and service
Food, cocktails and wine as well as location is fabulous!
Great experience as usual! We are regular customers and always book Sails as a priority when we come to Noosa
Meal was beautiful, but steak came rare when I ordered medium rare. So re cooked.
Wine list amazing.
Thought my desert was ok, not outstanding but.
A lot of competition in Noosa
Great restaurant. The Moreton Bay Bugs and the cauliflower dish are divine!! :)
A lovely evening with another couple. Food was excellent as was the wine. Our waitress added an extra level of enjoyment to the evening by her recommendations and lovely conversation with us.
Lovely setting, attentive service, food outstanding, reasonably priced
We had a waterfront table which was beautiful and we started with the ciabatta and trout butter which was superb. I had the miso salmon to start melt in the mouth followed by Moreton bay bug superb! My favourite restaurant highly recommended!!!
I was expecting much more then what I really had for dinner... it is expensive and unfortunately not worth it
Fantastic food and service!
Great location overlooking the sea. Great food and wine and great service.
Just a aswsome day out, great food, staff accoomdated us perfectly
Fantastic food in a beautiful environment with attentive but not overbearing service. Great night out.
We had two shared starters - the sashimi plate of mixed local tuna salmon and kingfish which was outstandingly good with the crab lasagne which was again excellent. For main we had the seafood pasta to share. Not massive but more than enough. Finally for dessert the golden syrup pudding was old school and a great way to finish. Well done Sails!!!!!
(Unlike our experience at Social dining on the Gold Coast where we had the rudest service ever experienced at a restaurant and our whole night was ruined. Never go to Social at BROADBEACH is my advice.)
Beautiful fresh seafood with an amazing outlook. The wine selection was superb.
Thank you and will be back for more !!
Arguably the best restaurant on Hastings Street. Excellent food, amazing wine list.
We had an incredible evening at Sails. It was a culinary experience! Beautiful food, friendly, engaging and informative service from Travis. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
Great spot, great wine choices, fabulous service and good food! Well done Sails!
As locals, we always go to Sails to celebrate special events and enjoy the occasional Sunday lunch there. It has a fantastic view of the water especially on a sunny day when the water sparkles.
The food is always superb and beautifully presented on the plate. One of our favourites is the Sand Crab Lasagne served on a raw tomato sauce and my wife usually goes for the Moreton Bay Bugs which she says are always succulent and cooked perfectly. The wine list is adequate and affordable.
The waitstaff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive and are knowledgeable about the wine list.
Sails is not the cheapest restaurant around but well worth the extra expense.
We expected the food to be somewhat better for the price - the menu sounded good but my Moreton bay bug dish was disappointing for over $50. Service was ok and the setting is lovely, but sitting at a beachfront table I was aware of what seemed like drain/sewer aromas wafting across from somewhere occasionally, which was a bit unpleasant.
Fantastic service, April did a great job as did all of the crew on that night. We will definitely be back, I especially loved the sea food chowder entree and the tuna butter and toasted bread starter
Well done team
Our only comment is in relation to the antiquated weekend surcharge. We like to tip our server directly but this charge makes that impossible.
