Very impressed. Food was incredible. Flavorful, fresh, high quality ingredients. Creative menu, dishes were esthetically pleasing and were perfectly executed based on menu description. Wait staff and hostess were great and very attentive. Drinks were phenomenal too. The views are nice and the interior of the restaurant is clean and well decorated, very nice ambiance inside. Would definitely visit again, and also highly recommend to fellow foodies and lovers of fine dining.
Lovely view, ambiance and food.
Dog friendly. Sat outdoors on the water with the amazing view
Really good meal out with the family. Great location with great views of the bay and downtown Miami at night. All four entrées were really well done. Only slight downside with the calamari appetizer. Our server, Roma, was knowledgeable and attentive… Made for a good evening.
We sat for quite a while without a waitress finally we called the manager over and she bought us drinks. My husband loved the sea bass but my shrimp and lobster risotto was horrible the peas were hard as a rock and although they said the lobster was maine it definitely was not. It was hard to get a waiter to take care of our needs. The manager was very nice and comp most of our meal but they need to work on their food and service
Ordered the roasted chicken and had 0 flavor it was just a boiled small to medium size half chicken . My table had no light and was very hard to see the food, Asked to be seated by the window because outside was full even when I booked a reservation and was not able change the table . Sangria pitcher was water down . Server was nice . I went with 4 other people for a birthday and the restaurant didn’t even give the guy a small sweet as appreciation even when the bill was over 400$. It’s not what it used to be before . Better go someplace else .
Great dinner. Only complaint is that food took forever to come out.
I understand the menu was limited to certain offers, the food was not too good but the outdoor dining was superb.
I’ve been here dozens of times prior to Covid, but upon this last visit I don’t think I’ll be returning again. Went for brunch for my dads birthday, the food wasn’t very good and took forever, and the restaurant was packed inside, no distance whatsoever between tables, everyone was so close to each other, we honestly did not feel safe at all. The one plus is the view and our waitress was nice and attentive.
Amazing time ! I love the brunch selections
Joffrey was an excellent waiter. Food was amazing!!! Will definitely be back!
Awesome food, mimosas and ambiance!
Very fresh seafood, delicious mimosas, and nice meal portions. Beautiful view and very attentive service.
We went for brunch this past Sunday...we had drinks at the bar first .. ask for Juan he makes great Bloody Mary’s and refreshing Sangrias. We ordered the short rib empanadas and half dozen west coast oysters to start... then our party of 4 ordered the crusted French toast, chicken and waffles, huevos rancheros and salmon eggs Benedict... everything was delicious and portions were generous. The service was very good snd of course the view outstanding. Two hour limit at the table as they are busy on Sunday’s. Recommend for a special occasions!!
Amazing. Always a great time with amazing food and scenery
- the view and restaurant itself was absolutely stunning
- place was clean and sanitized
- noticed everything was followed by the guidelines which makes you feel comfortable to have a relax dinner
- the Expresso martinis were phenomenal
- I requested andI reserved a table by the window with a view when I made my reservation a few days prior. When we arrived the hostess said there were none available, but we were able to have a table close to one and would have the same view. Although we still had a nice view it would have been nice to have a table we originally requested since that is one of the luxuries of making a reservation.
- the food could improve. Although the tuna roll and appetizer were amazing, the steak wasn’t. It was VERY chewy and not pleasant to eat. For the price and the type of venue you would expect an good angus steak. Very disappointing.
Our experience at Rusty Pelican was great. We really enjoyed the food, the view, and the ambiance, however the service could use a little improvement. We waited a long time to get a server and once we did, it took a while to get our food. I think the restaurant should consider providing a little bread or something to munch on while we wait for food. Other than that I give it 5 ⭐️
Emily, the waitress, was excellent. Everything she recommended tasted great. Will definitely go back
We enjoyed our time there! The food was amazing! Will definitely be dining again soon!
Spectacular views of the Miami skyline, great ambiance even near the bar area.
Caesar salad, scallops and empanadas all excellent. Ate early for winter sunset, recommend window seat in bar area if too cold outside. Staff all professional and accommodating
I had been there many years ago with good experience. but this time my husband found not one but two eye lashes in his mashed potatoes which was a big turn off. Then the kids meals it's supposed to bring fruit/carrot fries the server never brought any. Then to top it off, I ordered an extra meal to take when I got home to eat it it was missing the fries. They forgot to put it in the bag. I don't know if the server was new or it was just too many tables for one person. But it was not what I expected from this restaurant.
The Rusty Pelican is a must-visit restaurant if you are looking for an amazing view and great food. Our table ordered many brunch items and shared them amongst ourselves. The sushi was amazing, as well as the French Toast and Fruity Pebbles Pancakes. I would highly recommend it.
The food was amazing, we just had problem to read the menu, the light in te restaurant is very low
Vibe was amazing, food was great, all in all very good experience however they made us pay for the birthday desert and they definitely charge enough to comp a free desert for a birthday.
Delicious food. We were seated on a windy section so they moved us but the view is amazing and service was outstanding
I always enjoy Rusty Pelican. Location is AMAZING, food is delicious (only place I eat salmon) and service is great, Guillermo who attended us was such a nice, charismatic server. Highly Recommend this spot.
Incredible views, phantastic food.
We loved it!
Never go here. Worst dining experience I've ever had. Made a reservation way in advance with special request and it was still terrible. Service was awful, took 20 minutes to even get noticed by waiter. Sides never came. Food was sub par. Not worth the price at all, would never recommend this to a friend (and no, the view isn't even worth it).
Great Place, plentiful food servings, good ambience mood lighting with soft enticing music, we enjoyed our anniversary night out.
Great service. View is spectacular. Server was an Italian guy he was the best!
Amazing view, amazing seafood. Try to avoid fried things, only girlls or fresh food.
Amazing view of the city! Great food drinks and service
The view was pretty but the service was horrible.
Food and atmosphere was amazing.
My husband and I got engaged there years ago. It was nice to go back to where it began.
Amazing.. Our server Andrew was Awesome... Great everything...
Food is always great but they need to work on a few things. Tables are not as distanced as they should be and folks would feel more comfortable/safe if tables were properly spaced apart, as required by CDC guidelines. The table next to us was approx 2-3 feet away. Also, although view is spectacular and the food is great, the food often comes out warm instead of hot. This has happened to us at this restaurant on more than 2 occasions. Other than those 2 things needing much improvement, the quality and taste of the food is wonderful. We've had the whole fried snapper, salads, short rib empanadas, crab cakes, mashed potatoes, fries, etc., and other than the food being luke warm, the taste was good. Lastly, the waitress could have come by more often as our drinks kept getting watered down.
Love it! This restaurant never lets you down!
