Rossopomodoro - Oxford Street
Our party of four all enjoyed the starters and mains, and service was friendly, pleasant, and timely. Although not regular users, we have found Rosdopomodoro to be relaxed, consistent, and enjoyable.
Ciao Watermark, Thanks a lot for your amazing review about your experience here with us and for the lovely words towards our food and our staff. We hope to see you soon in our restaurant! Regards, Patricia
Fantastic food and great service. Will be coming back

Enjoyable, good location, okay pizza, pricy wine, friendly and engaging serving staff.
Dear HelenC, Thanks for finding the time to write your experience in our restaurant, your feedback is very important for Us. Patricia
I've been a regular at this restaurant since it first opened. And whenever I'm in John Lewis I make sure I have lunch there.
Ciao Lori! Thank you for the beautiful review and the kind words that you used to describe our restaurant. It means a lot for us and I hope we will see you soon in our brunch :) Patricia
Pizza great, service friendly enough but very slow as not enough staff
We had a very poor experience here for lunch, incredibly bad service, one of our party waited 15mins after the other 3 for her main and was then brought a stone cold dish. We tried to order desserts but couldn't get anyone to take an order so eventually gave up! One child at the table was given an activity sheet 30mins after we sat down but nothing for the other child.
Would be better if it was made clearer that service charge was already added and was optional. Also if customer wishes to add a different amount for tip, it isn't queried by staff as if it wasn't optional.
Fabulous - best gluten free pizza I’ve had in a long time
Very pleasant experience and a very welcome escape from the crowded shop and busy alternatives in-store. Extensive menu and the food was good and fairly priced.
Really convenient place to meet friends for lunch, good range of food and well priced
Non era come ci aspettavamo (menu) allora ce ne siamo andati.
The ambience? Well, the worn wood cladding look looked not so much ethnically and culturally Italian “distressed” , as just plain scruffy.
The food? My salad was lettuce mega heavy. The other ingredients, as advertised, were there (probably) if one really looked for them. In particular the salmon extra (an additional £4 as I remember) was certainly not value for money. Overall, although fairly tasty, the meal seemed a lot for what it was. My desert wasn’t brilliant either, three small hard chocolate biscuit balls that defied the use of cutlery..
The service? Excellent. The staff, not to mention the customers, deserve better....
Everything was good and the pizza was lovely!
Good service, very polite and I would recommend it.
The restaurant was not busy and we were seated straightaway but we were not asked if we would like to order drinks at that time and then it was something like half an hour before anyone came to the table and we were able to order drinks. The pizza was really good so I would go back for one of those!
Nice staff and as always nice food. Very good italian quality coffee
I booked Rossopomodoro for a business meeting due to the good location. The food and service was very good.
The server looked like we were a hinderemce but the manager was very nice
The food was very good indeed therefore I would recommend as this is the important bit 😀
Very disappointing food - soggy pizzas with no care in how the toppings were placed or presented. Also, too much salt in the pizza base, we were parched for hours afterward. Salad with 99% leaves, of which 50% were stalks.
We pre-booked the table and were shown to a table but did not seem to be specifically for us as they were adjusting the settings as we sat down. Then someone came over straight away and asked if we were ready to order before we had a chance to look at the menu. They did not ask if we wanted to order any drinks. Waiters seemed very disinterested. 3 of us ordered the chicken avocado and pear salad which sounded lovely, but turned out to be a huge pile of lettuce with a very small amount of shredded chicken 3 tiny blobs of avocado and a couple of slices of pear. Very poor value.
To add insult to injury I got a rude email later in the day about not attending my booking and not bothering to cancel, and how it negatively affects the restaurant!
They cancelled us on the same day so we couldn’t find an alternative restaurant for Silvester. They should have known sooner that they would be closing the restaurant for the evening and not a few hours before.
Not very impressed with lunch. Bloody Mary’s were not seasoned well, no celery sticks or Worcestershire sauce very bland in cintrast the Pizza was far too salty. Too expensive, will not return.
We liked the decor of this restaurant within John Lewis in Oxford Street, and certainly felt as if we were in an Italian restaurant rather than in a department store.
The food was very good, especially the pizzas, which seemed to be cooked in a proper pizza oven in the middle of the restaurant.
The experience was definitely let down by the staff/service. We were quickly shown to a table, water and menus given to us, and then we waited. And waited. There seemed to be enough staff for the number of occupied tables, but no-one returned to offer us a drink until we managed to attract someone's attention. Then he swiftly took the drinks order and vanished, without checking to see if we were ready to order our food............we were! The drinks took a very long time to arrive, by which time we'd called over another member of staff to order our food.
We enjoyed the food, but this was definitely let down by the simple fact of poorly trained staff, or staff who didn't really want to be there. We saw no-one in overall charge of proceedings, just 4 or 5 waiting staff doing their own thing.
Easy to improve.
Excellent pizza and tangy Sicilian lemonade - delicious! Table overlooking Cavendish Square at lunchtime, it proved a very good venue to meet my granddaughter. Nice and buzzy but not overwhelming. Thank you.
Very convenient spot for group lunches during the working day. Staff are always very nice.
Really nice place to eat. Although it is in John Lewis Oxford Street store you wouldn't know. We had a lovely view of a green square at the back of the store.
They forgot my broccoli and when eventually it turned up we had finished our main course. Plus, very sadly the "broccoli" looked suspiciously like spinach???
The lunchtime servers were excellent but the staff for afternoon tea were not at all friendly.
We will not be returning.
Best pizza I've ever had. Great atmosphere and very good service.
Nice meal. Gluten free pizza quite dry. Too much big chunks of raw garlic which I had to pick off.
Good food, plenty of spaces available. Central location
Dreadful attitude from the waiter. Pizza’s were ok but the rest of the food was awful.
Great food as always, but slow service (considering how quiet it was) & staff not too attentive / friendly.
Our experience was a pleasant one! A truly authentic experience with a family-friendly atmosphere!
Omg everything is so good! Definitely recommend, services is a bit slow but doesn’t really affect the experience.
Arrived but staff did not appear to understand that I had booked.
Table initially provided not large enough but offered another with no issue and was good. Food tasty, I think they do a good pizza!
Only grumble would be many of the staff did not speak English so we had to ask several times to various members of staff for items as some did not understand what we were asking for.
we booked for midday looking for a quiet early lunch to talk 'work' stuff and everything was perfect for us, nice ambience and also good view out the window looking over the park beyond. Service & food was great
It was helpful I could book a table. A very light airy spacious restaurant with an interesting Italian menu. The staff were helpful, attentive and very friendly and seemed interested in the food and which part of Italy everything came from. I felt they were very motivated. I would meet friends there again.
We all had the lasagne which turned up luke warm. On top of that it was basically a tomato lasagne with very little meat. Only ate half. Definitely wouldn’t recommend the lasagne. The pizzas looked good on the next table though.
We came for the first time to this restaurant for my daughter's 17th birthday, the food was delicious and very authentic Italian. We loved it and will come back again soon for sure.
Mattia our waiter make us feeling like part of the family, even on a busy shift he looked after us really well!
Prefer the Covent Garden branch. The menu was different.
