Set in a beautiful Art Deco building in the thriving heart of Prospect, Rosemont Hall is the perfect spot for friendly lunches, fun times and casual get togethers.

Outside, come for a fresh juice and a healthy Asian salad, while the kids play in the plush laneway and garden. Then stay for dinner in our beautiful restaurant and get transported to 1920’s Hong Kong.

When it comes to food, there is plenty to choose from- whether it’s a meat platter from Mr Chan or a selection of delicious snacks with a wine in hand. We are all about keeping it casual, but also offer table service for dinner in the main “hall”. Think local seafood, roasted meats, dim sum and stir-fry’s straight from the wok.

The food was absolutely delicious! And there was a variety of dishes to choose from The service was also outstanding. We will be back to try some different dishes !

We had a very poor dining experience due to Not a relaxing ambiance at all! Uncomfortable noise level Tables too crowded so no room to push back chairs to get up to the toilet. Very poor service from wait staff Tasty meal but sooo many beans ( and not a lot of protein for the price ) Maybe ok for younger people who love noise and hustle and bustle but annoying for those looking for a relaxed meal in a place where the staff care, and you are after something better than “cattle herd“dining! Definately not for a first date or special occasion! Very noisy music at 6pm necessitating diners to shout at each other. A request for a quieter table or the music to be turned down did not help us any. By the time we left, earlier than planned, the place was full and the noise level was distressingly loud and my throat was sore from shouting at my dinner companions. The seating was so crowded that pushing back chairs a little meant bumping an adjoining table . It felt like a railway station cafeteria rather than a restaurant The service was very poor. We had to attract wait staffs attention to get any drinks after the first round. When one dining companion managed to flag down staff to order a drink for himself, the drink was hastily delivered and no further drinks offered to the others at the table who were sitting with empty glasses. My husband and I have eaten here multiple times prior to the fire and I recommended it to the friends who joined us that night. I was embarrassed at having invited them and will never eat here again. I don’t believe that the other couple would visit again.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday. The staff were super friendly, the service was fantastic and the food was so delicious. Thank you for making it such an awesome experience.

The food is excellent at Rosemont Hall, from Sunny’s we ordered the Prawn dumplings in a red Thai curry sauce which was divine; just needed a touch more spice and also the birds nest spring rolls; there were pretty good, the exterior coating was a bit much for us. We also chose the Thai green curry chicken; again needed a touch more chilli (spice) and the Garlic prawns from Mr Chan; which was superb. Overall adequate value and delicious food for date night. Would return to try the other goodies.

Rosemont Hall is fabulous. The food was delicious, the service was amazing! So glad they rebuilt after the fire and have not changed a thing. The experience was just as we remembered it.

Food good tasty ,not greatest welcome by first waitress , I was just left standing,but then I really nice man helped me to my table ,very, very noisy , our dumping dish was served lukewarm.
