Rosa Mexicano - Los Angeles
Food was very good but the service lacked, it wasn't busy at all and it still took a long time to get refills. Waiters were not polite at all.
A good Mexican dining experience - Especially considering we visited during Dinner rush hour on E3 week the staff kept up withaasive demand exceptionally well. Recommendations? The churros are in...credible. Served at the table by the server in a piping hot paper bag, shook with melt in the mouth brown sugar and cinnamon and paired beautifully with chocolate and raspberry dipping sauces on the plate. Crunchy on the outside and melting on the inside... Next level!
First of all your greeter was Rudy not friendly. When I asked a question. Second it was really noisy. The waiter did a good job but as far as the food not so good.
It was great Mexican food the best part was the guacamole!
Had to wait forever for the hostess to seat us and there was only three other tables occupied in the restaurant. Took the waiter a while to come take our order, and we had to ask for absolutely everything. Food was OK but it really wasn’t worth the effort.
The food is delicious however the service was not the greatest. The server lacked any personality.
Everything is better when pared with a pomegranate margarita! Typically, we eat at the Rosa Mexicano on 18th in NYC. We were delighted to find a Rosa in Downtown LA. The food was delicious and the service superb. Just have to be careful with their margaritas because they are so smooth, but, pack a punch.
Excellent Queso! The carne asada was good as well. Friendly, attentive service. I'd definitely go back
Excellent food and cocktails. The service was amazing! - but I think that was largely due to our particular wait staff. Our service person was so efficient, sharp, and witty, I thought he was a screen writer or stand up between gigs. The gentleman that prepared the guacamole table side was most obliging, and, again, very efficient. It was a dinner meant to honor our friend's landing of a new position and it did not disappoint in any way. I don't like coming downtown for dinner - however, I will brave LA Live for Rosa!
The food was mediocre at best. Very disappointing.
Our waiter, David, was outstanding!!!
He knew the menu, was a delight to talk to and knowledgeable about Celiac and eating Gluten Free
Food was cold and delayed
We went there two days before and it was great
Manager took care of the meal
The service & ambience was great but the food was okay. 5 stars to our server, Ara.
The only complaint we had was the price of a marguerita. For $18 bucks, it was a huge rip-off. Glass small
THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE, SERVICE WAS SLOW, DRINKS WERE NOT GOOD. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
The service was poor, even after speaking with a manager on duty. The food was fair, fish tacos were good, enchiladas were cold. Wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.
Service was real good. Food lacked flavor. I wonder if the chef taste the food / salsa / guacamole / fajitas before it’s sent out? Needed salt or something. Overall the food was ehhh.
It was a busy night due to a concert so service was hectic and haphazard. However our server made it right with a free appetizer and drinks.
Unfortunately the food was not very good. We were really looking forward to eating here so we were very disappointed when we got our food.
I have been here several times and each time the service is AWFUL and they mess up someone’s order. Last time they forgot my order, this time they gave my friend the wrong thing. We got our food before our app (guac).
When talking to my colleagues I was with they both experienced awful service in the past. Only reason we all went back was it is close to the office and the food itself is decent (too salty for me). But definitely overpriced for what you get
Service was amazing but food was way overpriced. Tortilla soup was way too thick to be called a soup. Food was too expensive and not worth it. Guacamole was very good but seriously overpriced. A little bit of food for the price. My husband ordered an enchilada de boredgo and it was only one enchilada for $21.00 wow I could not believe it. Don’t think I will be going back again
Mother’s Day brunch was amazing. Service incredible. Food, to die for.
Mother’s Day dinner
We went for my cousins graduation from USC and everything was awesome! The staff is very kind and attentive and even brought out a special dessert platter for my cousin. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend.
Our server was excellent, and the Cadillac margaritas were delicious!!
Best place to eat before a concert. Super quick and the food is good
Decent food, lively environment. Service was a little rushed then slow
Floor slippery and someone in my party fell. Waiter forgot to put food in and a manager retook the order 45 mins later. Food awful. Burnt chips. They ever gave ya free rice and beans and forgot that!
Even though it was on cinco de Mayo our service was absolutely amazing! The unsweetened ice tea was delicious!
The house made guac was perfect - I loved the spice!
We had the elote - and omg that was my absolute favorite thing there!
The rice and beans was tremendous!
Shrimp tacos was out of this world
And their fajitas was amazing too.
Food was fantastic and service was great. Love the table-side guacamole
So sad. We loved this place and couldn’t wait to go back.. but the quality of food has gone down unfortunately
Probably good for Mexican People. It was hard to undestood menu.
The guacamole was mostly tomatoes and onions, very little avocado. For a Mexican food restaurant to not have burritos or a bigger selection of tacos was very weird. I asked for an item and was told you didn’t have chicken when kids have a
Chance to order chicken tacos. Very confusing. Not likely to return to this restaurant
Way overpriced for the service received. Food good but over rated.
Every element of this experience was elevated beyond anything we expected. Food was tasty, round after round, and the drinks were delicious. I think we stayed for 3 hours because it was a perfect atmosphere. Thank you!
Great Mexican Restaurant at LA Live. Quick service, nice ambiance and excellent food. The table side guacamole was delicious.
The food was great, the place is amazing. The food just takes too long to be served. Not sure if it's the kitchen or the waiters.
To be avoided!!!! The worst meal we’ve ever had.
Beef and chicken both really tough and inedible.
My son was actually sick after eating some of it and we all weren’t able to eat the food.
To make matters worse, it was very expensive.
The restaurant was very dark and we couldn’t hardly see what was on our plates. The worst dining experience in our lives.
The selection was limited i was looking for more original Mexican Food
