Rococo Acland Street
Join us for a meal of many courses; a hearty breakfast to start the day, a jovial work lunch, a family get together or just a glass of wine to celebrate the end of a day. Oh and our Wood Fire Pizzas are a must. Enjoy the authenticity, quality and warm hospitality of modern Italy right here in Melbourne.
Al fresco outside seating also available.
Amazing food but night slightly spoilt by being unable to split bill which caused lots of messing around at the end - such a shame!
Lovely restaurant with great food, a bit expensive but very good quality
The service was wonderful. Rococo is a consistent winner, great food options, including a vegan menu which pleased my friend immensely. Rococo never lets me down. Great selection of food and drinks, the only issue I have is which cocktail I should get. The prices are fair which makes it affordable. I highly recommend Rococo.
Love Rococo! The pizzas are wonderful - the pumpkin one I could just eat and eat! Went with some friends who had not been before and they loved it too. Great service, staff friendly and quick. Not cheap, but worth every cent.
We used to love Rococo, unfortunately it has really gone down hill. The food was not great, and the service was very poor.
Very attentive staff, great food, sangria was fab.
Have been here several times and never fails in the quality and taste of the food.
We have started with ordering antipasti and halve way through they bring the mains. We have told them as you can see we are halve way of the first course. 5 min. later he comes back and says chef wants to redo yr order but it will be delayed. We said go ahead we are here to enjoy our dinner not to be pushed out of the door in a hurry because you have customers queuing outside. Despite that he brings the same dishes five min. later. Food was hot and cold, due to being heated up. I had spaghetti with seafood ,ate some of the sea food, did not touch the spaghetti due to raw and cold state. Wife had Spinach&Ricotta cannelloni,of which she left it untouched because it was raw and burned at the top,and cold.
On the way out ,we told the manager, his response was: SORRY TO HEAR.
Wonderful evening; just bit noisey as so many people and seated close to other tables. There were a not 2 of us, but neighbors on both sides and very very close
Usually would recommend ~ bits of plastic in my chicken Risotto wasn't expected ~ quality of food seemed less than usual
Great food, service was slow. Would still go back.
Great food, good service and great atmosphere. Wait staff were informed and helpful in suggesting menu items and were attentive with drinks etc. Meals were nicely timed, delicious and well sized. I would recommend Rococo to friends and will definitely be back again.
Good food and service. Easy to chat and not rushed. Lovely brunch
great food, great ambiance and good service. I never leave this restaurant unsatisfied with the food or service. highly recommend!
We had a fun night celebrating my gf's birthday - just the three of us - love the food and energy of the place (and the wine)
great atmosphere and awesome service thanks!
absolute favourite restaurant, nothing compares to Rococo !
Great Menu and tasty food. Have been to Rococo several times and has never failed to please.
Very noisy inside, first time ever dining here as we are not from Melbourne, the service was very slow and we waited a long while for our drinks and to be served
When we received our food my girlfriend's was very very salty and was not tasty at all, and mine was very nice but we found multiple pieces of foil throught the dish
The only complaint is the fact of no split bills, it makes if very hard when there is a group of you.
We had a wonderful experience. A great menu backed with great service. Thank you.
As per normal delicious food and great service. Always our regular now.
Excellent waiter. Food good. Value pretty good. Lovely pizza crust/topping. Only complaint was we were near the front window and it was very cold at our table. Apart from that I would recommend.
Food was beautiful. Oven baked Ricotta Gnocchi amazing!
Rococo is our preshow dinner destination whenever we are seeing something at the National Theatre. The staff are always friendly and enquire if we are attending a show, the food is always hot and delicious and we are always out on time to attend our show.
My husband and I recently dined at Rococo in Acland St and it was a great experience. We had the gnocchi al fungi and the rigatoni sausage and both were absolutely delicious.
The service and ambience were also really lovely. We will definitely be back.
second visit just as great as the first.food service all good.highly recommended.
Entree's and 1 meal were great, but one main was not.....the Braised Beef Ragout, which was so salty and mushy I could not eat it......when leaving I told the waitress as feedback, and that I couldn't eat it, and all I got in return was "its only just new on the menu so I'll tell the chef"...great for the chef but not much help to me !
Great service and beautiful food, would eat here every time I visit St Kilda.
Great Italian food, amazing red sangria and deffinetly good value for money. Looking forward to going back!
Good service, good menu. Enjoyed the food and wine.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful....food was delicious.
Food was delicious and brought out in a timely manner. I thought the price of wine was a little excessive.
Fantastic cafe/restaurant. Stunning food and so much variety. Really lovely decor and we got a nice private table away from the hustle and bustle of everyone which was so nice. Highly recommend.
Amazing food and atmosphere. A must visit if you are in St Kilda. I've been going to this restaurant for nearly 10 years after an accidental find on a trip over from Perth. Still my absolute favourite. Amazing food!
I really love Rococo food it is fantastic but I was really disappointed that we had to wait over 1 hour for 3 pasta dishes. I only asked where our meals were because we had to be at a show and people who arrive after we ordered were getting their food.
We both seafood pasta. My wife had the salmon and I had the grilled seafood. both meals were tasty and well presented. Serve size is large. Service was good and overall experience was very good. Would go again.
Lovely ambience and great service. My only negative comment would be it was extremely warm.
I think surcharging customers on a Sunday is disgraceful. It’s 2019, yes penalty rates for working the weekend apply but it’s disgusting that your customers are forking that bill.
We recently dined here for dinner on Mother’s Day. We waited at the front desk for quite a while with wait staff passing us but no-one acknowledging us. Finally we were greeted and taking to our table. We sat for at least 15 or so minutes and no one came to take drink orders. We had to wave down a staff member and order drinks and ask for water. We weren’t off to a great start. We ordered our meals which were the ricotta gnocchi, the mushroom gnocchi, the pan fried prawns with linguine and a kids gnocchi bolognaise along with the Italian coleslaw. The pastas were tasty and the salad was very nice. Cocktails were good also.
I’ve eaten at Rococco over many years but today’s experience might just put me off from going again. My first mother’s day as a mum of an 11-month old, I made a booking for 12pm and was told we had an allocation of 2 hours. At 1.05pm, while we were waiting for our coffees to arrive to end our meal, one of the head waitresses arrives to say that the people with the following booking were arriving soon! Sorry? We just finished our meals, were waiting for our coffees and get told this! Shame job Rococco! Shame! The waitress apologised but damage done. Get your booking system straight and treat your clientele, especially on Mother’s Day, with some common decency!
