Rococo Acland Street’s atmosphere is both seductive and vibrant, bustling and intimate. The place where Rococo’s signature antipasti boards and simple Italian flavours first came to be, it continues to attract diners from all over Melbourne some 10 years later. Set amongst some of Melbourne’s most loved sites – The Palais, The National Theatre and St Kilda beach to name a few – our expanded restaurant space is bigger than ever, yet remains cosy and flexible, with various spaces available for functions and plenty of nooks for private dining or close conversations.
Join us for a meal of many courses; a hearty breakfast to start the day, a jovial work lunch, a family get together or just a glass of wine to celebrate the end of a day.     Food was amazing and loved the vibe. Service appeared very busy, potentially understaffed. Arrived for the booking 10 minutes late and table was not laid. No water was bought to the table at any point in the night. There was a bit of a wait trying to pay for the bill but they were kind enough to let us split the bill when it came our turn. I would go back for the food and vibe.

    Been going to Roccoco for a long time now and have always loved it and understand prices have all gone up and that's no problem but the pastas have become smaller and smaller and come on guys pasta isn't expensive compared to other foods... be a little more generous and im happy to pay $38 for the char grilled marinara and there was sufficient dish but not enough pasta was like entrees size not a main. Apart from that a else is lovely.

    We enjoyed the food and the staff catered for the fact we had a show to attend which meant service was fast. My only issue is I was overcharged for drinks we didn’t have. Didn’t have time to check the invoice until that evening

    Dining time is 90 minutes. Our orders were taken 25 minutes later which didn't allow time for certain foods like lasagna which two of us wanted to order due to taking 45 minutes to prepare and serve which would have left us with 20 minutes to eat dinner and get to our concert at the Palais. Calamari and salad was very good but pizzas very sloppy and not worth the money. Such a shame as our meals were really good on our previous dining. Table staff were very good.

    Lovely Italian Restaurant close to all Entertainment Venues or a "Date Night" in Acland Street St Kilda. Ticks all the boxes. Value for money, Friendly Staff, Great Service and Excellent Food. Highly recommend.

    Six of us for lunch - great service. Between us we had Gnocchi (melt in our mouth yum), Saganaki, Calamari and Calbrese pizza - everyone enjoyed these dishes. Good cocktails soon , all good value - we will return.

    Great last minute dinner option. Despite the venue being very busy, we were waited on quickly and food arrived within 20minutes of ordering. Lovely setting and ambience next to the fireplace on a cold Melbourne evening!

    Party of 8, came for dinner, we were out in back room with table too small. Then we we’re moved to a larger table in the restaurant near the bar (happy with that). Took a while to place orders as it was hard to get staffs attention (they weren’t really onto our table unfortunately). The kids food was nice, but we ordered 3 salmon salads for the adults and the fish was VERY bland (not impressed for a dish that was around $30 a pop). Other than that, the experience was nice.

    You can’t go wrong with ANYTHING you choose from the menus!! Everything we had (there was 11 of us there last night) and from the starters to the mains and desserts everyone raved about how delicious it all was. Great coffee too. Our waiter (I wish I got his name) was outstanding. Thank you for a fantastic night overall :D

    I can't wait to come back ! The food, the ambience, the service were all first class. Highly recommend this for couples, families or big groups. There is enough room and different areas for everyone. My new fave place :)

    Food was tasty but overpriced. Service was very inattentive, the classic Australian ‘help yourself’ attitude. Staff did the bare minimum, pointed you to places if you asked for something. Not with the price point.

    Our favourite local pizza and pasta restaurant did NOT disappoint! It was Friday night and the restaurant was buzzing. The food was absolutely delicious as usual. The staff were very attentive and the owner was sweet and accommodating. I highly recommend everyone to come and enjoy a wonderful night out next time they’re in St Kilda.
