We really enjoyed our meal at Rock Sugar. We were a party of 9 people and had the baby banquet (a set menu at $49pp), two of our party are celiacs. The Rock Sugar team were really mindful of providing alternative food options to the celiacs when there was something on the table that the celiacs wouldn't be able to eat. Overall the meal was incredibly enjoyable and we will definitely be back again!

Drinks were really good, would be back for that, mains were pretty great as well but only 3 options to choose from which was disappointing and for 1 bao bun it cost $10. Abit overpriced the menu was so I wouldn't be back again.

The food was amazing! Staff were fantastic. A little bit loud where we were sitting and the bill does add up quickly, however, we were all happy with everything we ordered and would happily come back again! Cocktails were DELICIOUS!

First time dining in after having take away during lockdown. Good vibe in restaurant and nice welcome. However, service was quite slow, and the food was a bit disappointing and not as tasty as the take aways. Everything was very salty and quite oily which was a shame.

Honestly the best dinner I’ve had out in Melbourne! The food was INCREDIBLE, the flavours were amazing, the cocktails were delicious, the venue was beautiful and really cute. Staff were great too and would go back in a heartbeat!

Food was amazing, and plentiful, but the drink service was a little disappointing. We had to flag a server down several times in order to get a drink. When we went to order a third drink for the night, we were advised that the bar was closed. Would have been great to have a server advise that the bar was closing and if we'd like a final drink

The is a great example of a trendy Melbourne restaurant that is kind of ok. Food is designed on look before taste and a little overpriced. This would be a good place to go with a group for drinks and dinner, but don't expect to walk away blown away,
