The food was absolutely amazing and you receive so much of it for high tea! Definitely will be returning to have some more quiche! The quinoa salad was also delicious.

Enjoyed the visit. It would be nice if in the warm weather you had air conditioning. Would go back. Loved the “petite tea” on the menu.

This is the best tea house on Long Island! Great food which ranges from a full lunch to just tea & their great homemade scones to a full high tea!

I have had tea at other tea rooms in Nassau and Port Jefferson. The relaxed atmosphere and the wonderful food at Robinson's make having English high tea such a lovely experience. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The tea is delicious and varied. I and my wife and daughter have enjoyed various types here and they are all so fresh and full of flavor. The three tiers leave us always full and with some left to bring home. As a cook and a foodie, I would highly recommend Robinson's for the experience, for the meal and for the service. Completely pleased with coming monthly and creating memories with my family. Thank you, Robinson's!!

Robinson's is always our place to go for Afternoon tea. Everything was delicious. Since there were 4 of us, we were able to try several scone flavors and they were yummy! The menu states everything that is included with afternoon tea, and they are happy to make substitutions for sandwiches that we didn't want, so no smoked salmon for us, but extra tuna and ham. The desserts are different each time, but always very tasty! There is a tea menu that includes at least 40 varieties of tea. Our server, Dan, was great! We can't wait to return!

Food was very good, especially the cinnamon scones. Very happy the restaurant offered gluten free options. (Bread). Call ahead if you want a gluten free scone. There was a very wide range of teas. However disappointed that our server never made it back to offer a new tea, since it was supposed to be unlimited tea service. Our server seemed very overwhelmed. We had a cream spill at our table, which I ended up cleaning up myself after getting paper towels and windex. None of the servers came over to help us. Other than that, it was a decent experience.

Very nice cozy cafe in the heart of old Stony Brook Village. Definitely recommend for a nice quiet morning tea and scones, finger sandwiches.

Best afternoon tea I've ever had, including London! The Petite Tea was the perfect size and everything was delicious. We'll be back often as we love a nice afternoon tea. Thank you for a wonderful time. The service was perfect. As was the food and ambiance. I can't say enough about how good this adorable tea room is.

Unfortunately we did not have a great experience. There was a miscommunication with our waitress. We ordered two of the kids tea and two adult tea services. For whatever reason the waitress thought we just ordered tea and a scone for each adult. The kids got their food and my sister and I sat there for 45 minutes waiting for ours while the waitress ignored us. We finally get a hold of her and she brings us our check. We ask her where our food is and she says all we ordered was scones. A total miscommunication but instead of apologizing for the misunderstanding she yells at us and tell us we’re wrong and didn’t order properly. Isn’t the customer always right? An apology would have been nice rather than we didn’t order correctly.

my second visit to Robinson’s was just as enjoyable as my first! this time, instead of high tea, we ordered lunch from the menu, and enjoyed quiche, salad, and a turkey sandwich with brie and apples.....delicious!
we also had THE best waiter again, Daniel....knowledgeable, very nice, attentive and patient. i will definitely be returning again soon!

Very nice atmosphere. food ok. Tea is excellent but overpriced. They need to have a tea sampler on the menu so visitors can pay a fixed price for lots of tea varieties. Dont like that u pay $6 for 2 cups of ONE tea (in a pot with ONE tea bag.

The restaurant is decorated like an English tea room. It is very cozy and inviting. The food and service were excellent. We weren’t rushed by the server. Server was attentive but didn’t hover by us. We bought scones home because they are amazing. The homemade raspberry jam is excellent. Highly recommend Robinson’s Tea Room if you are in the area.
