Head Chef, Troy Watson, has put together a brand-new menu, packed with flavour and tasty fare. Aside from a nice variety of gorgeous mains, you can also try out the beautiful, fresh wood fired pizzas from the pizza oven!
Roberta’s is filled with volumes of natural light pouring through the fantastic windows on either side of the building – and through one of the key focal points, the breath-taking glass atrium style ceiling. The sky stretches out above you as you grab a comfortable booth, sink into a cosy chair with a frothy beer or a crafted cocktail on the courtyard style terrace, or pull up a stool at the bar.
Lovely Sunday brunch. Happy to wait for our daughter to arrive and put her food on later. Staff were very friendly and attentive. It's becoming a favourite.
Lovely food, lovely staff. A little loud, but the staff were very accommodating of this and had us moved to a quieter area. The pizzas are incredible and great portions! Cocktails are great too :)
Hi Lauren, Thanks very much for the review, it's great to hear you guys had such a good time. Hopefully we'll see you again soon :) The Roberta's Team
I enjoyed my first visit here. Staff very pleasant, food excellent (except chips which were very 'bitty' and hardly tasted like a potato product) . Ambience was excellent and city center location is excellent. On the negative side, I thought the menu was somewhat overpriced, as was the drink, but I accept this is a location 'thing'. The noise level was dreadful as there was a large group at a nearby table which included several 'loud' children. While I have no problem with children in restaurants, I do think that some soft furnishings (maybe curtains?) would help absorb the harshness of the noise.
I also do not think that , as an older person, I am not your target audience?
However, I will return, thank you.
We booked brunch for my mom's birthday. It was amazing! The food was delicious, everyone really enjoyed it and the coffee was outstanding! Not to mention, the service! Our waiter was very attentive and helpful! Will definitely be back!
Hey Gabriella, thanks so much for the review and 5 stars :) We're delighted you had a great celebration for your mom's birthday. Hopefully we'll see you again soon ! The Roberta's Team
A bit too noisy, I was finding hard having conversation but food was amazing . Great buzz , will be back with less chats 😅
Hi RoxanaM, I hope the noise didn't take away from the buzz you spoke about :) We'd be delighted to have you in again for another one, anytime. Kind regards, The Roberta's Team
Tha Mac&Cheese wasn`t good at all.
The other things ok!
Hi JessicaF, We're very sorry to hear our Mac&Cheese wasn't up to scratch during your visit :( We hope you give us another chance, sometime soon ! We can do better next time. Kind regards, The Roberta's Team
I've been to Robertas several times before but I definitely noticed it is not as good as before. We got bloody marys (€11), no celery, no spice, just tomato juice and vodka- a bit cheeky calling it a cocktail. I had had the bloody marys here last year and it was one of the reasons i went back as they were super
The food was grand but overpriced- 16.50 for eggs Benedict. the potatoes were nothing like before, no where near as delicious.
We waited about 10 minutes to have our orders taken, when we had to actually stop a waiter and ask them if we could order now. We also had to ask him then if we could order drinks as no one had come to take our drinks order.
I ordered the pepperoni pizza which was soggy and bland. However, my two friends ordered other pizzas and said they were lovely. I was just disappointed in mine as a pepperoni pizza is always a good choice as it is hard to get wrong.
Overall, not thrilled about the experience with the food and the service but the place is nicely decorated and the drinks were tasty.
Really fun restaurant: great for a night out with friends where you want good food in a casual, hip atmosphere.
We have been here before and bought friends - They liked it as much as we do. Thanks for a lovely evening.
I had never been to Roberta's before and saw the espresso martini month brunch advertised on Instagram. The staff were very friendly and we were brought to our table very quickly. The menu had lots of options and everything was clearly explained to us. Food arrived quickly and was very tasty, good sized portions too. The atmosphere in Roberta's is good too, lots of customers, cool decor and easy-listening music. Definitely going again!
Beautiful building and restaurant setting. NYC vibe, lovely seating options with some booths and fabulous bar where you can have per or post drinks. Buzzy atmosphere.
The menu could do with having a bit more choice. There are some very specific dishes/tastes. The group of us felt it was a bit limited and room for improvement. The pizzas were good that we did order however felt limited choice in a way.
Overall would recommend but be careful re menu you have a fussy or particular group.
Went with a friend for the espresso martini brunch - the food was fine but nothing amazing, the cocktails were nice. The hostess was lovely but the waiters rude or indifferent
Staff and food were excellent. I had to call to let them know I would be late and the staff were more than understanding. Definitely will be coming back.
Best eggs i have ever had. Cool place and great service. Would definately recommend
Overpriced very average food. I did not finish any of my three courses. The desert was the worst. Much better restaurants in Dublin of much better quality and fair higher standard of food for the same price.
Service was average. We were rushed to finish and asked three times if we were ordering a desert within a very short space of time. Not relaxing.
Food was great, we had the table for the whole afternoon staff very attentive and a great ambience in the bar.
Roberta is structurally a lovely venue. I really didn’t enjoy the ham and cheese and there was no cheese. The rigatoni was pleasant enough but very overpriced.
Dessert was nice.,
Simple yet excellent tasting food in a nice restaurant with great atmosphere!
Fabulous Decor, lovely staff and food was great... Thank you.
The brunch was incredible! Highly recommend. First time visitors and we felt very welcome.
Favourite restaurant/bar in Dublin. Great atmosphere, great staff, great food & great drinks!
Great food. Exceptional friendly service. Would have liked to see a better range of non-alcoholic beers. Upsells on mains should be promoted more.
Food and cocktails were delicious, it was very busy and a little understaffed. Would visit again!
Very average high priced food. Seating arrangements quite crowded and difficult to get staffs attention for service. Quite disappointing.
Food was absolutely delicious. Really good drinks as well. Very attentive staff
Very enjoyable evening. Great food. Fabulous service. I would definitely recommend it.
The atmosphere and decor was lovely but what won us over was our waiter. He could not have been more helpful. He helped me choose what I could and could not eat on the menu as I am pregnant, he checked things with the chef and suggested substitutions. He could not do enough for us. Such a gentleman and a credit to Roberta's.
my girlfriend enjoyed duck starter she love it and hake she had just bit but was also good too full to finish it. I had smoked salmon starter was good but i enjoyed much more the pork chop main was delicious. No room for desert ...
thanks for lovely evening.
Beautiful venue to bring beautiful company
Really good place with great food. Staff very attentive. Highly recommend it
First time visiting for brunch after hearing great things from friends. Big fan. Will definitely be back again soon.
Exceptional food with a lovely list of wines in a gorgeous space that’s centrally located. The options and portions were perfect. The service was somewhat lacklustre we had two waiters tend to us. One, our initial server, was dismissive and rude. The second was attentive and respectful with a warm smile.
The food was fantastic! The pizza it's just fabulous. Unfortunately, the cocktails weren't that good as I expected. The house one with bourbon was amazing, but the Pornstar Martini and the Expresso Martini were missing something. I would be definitely back for the food.
Lovely place and would be great venue for a celebration with a crowd. I thought the dinner menu could have been a bit more varied especially for vegetarians but overall the food was really nice
Roberta's has a very nice bustling atmosphere, a great bar, and a great location in Temple Bar. I have been there twice, and although the food is good, the lack of choice for vegetarians might make me reluctant to go for a third time.
It was nice had a great time
The ambiance was lovely, and the food was delicious, but while the restaurant wasn't that busy we felt that the service was quite slow - especially when we wanted the bill... and then to pay the bill. Otherwise, everything was lovely.
I have been to several of the restaurants owned by this group and this was by far the worst experience of what is typically an otherwise great experience. The wait staff was irreverent and took a long time to get their attention. They were also visibly standing around joking with each other while we were trying to get their attention - it was quite frustrating. I also noted that there was not one female staff member on the floor while we were there. I am also a meat eater, but do not eat pork. It really limited my options to only a few items when otherwise vegetarian options had pig product in them.
Had specified 2 months in advance it was a special birthday occasion. Was shown to tiny side room with no other diners while a massive hen party was placed in their main room. Was given no attention by server. After mains was asked 15 minutes after we asked for the bill if we wanted desert. So disappointing when dining for a special occasion. Save your money and time and go elsewhere
