Table wasn't set up for 5 people. I don't think they cared. It wasn't until everyone arrived they thought to ask if we needed an extra chair and brought an extra glass and water bottle. Not good enough. My poached egg undercooked inside spoilt the yolk. Yuk

We were greeted and seated with a friendly smile. The time taken to ensure we were comfortable was noticed and appreciated. A lovely environment for a meal away from home.

I booked through Open Table. Received multiple confirmations of the booking - right up until an hour prior to our booking. Upon arrival there was no reservation for us and no table. Luckily there was a reservation for 4 for a party that had no yet arrived so the delightful wait staff gave us that table and then scurried around to organise seating for the other psrty. The restaurant was almost full. Something is wrong with this booking facility. It’s either the booking platform or the restaurant. Either way it’s something I won’t leave to chance again - but why would anyone bother booking through Open Table if you have to then phone the restaurant to confirm that they actually know you are coming?
