Bean Bag Picnic
Multiple dates available
Enjoy a laid-back wine and soak up the sunshine on our winery lawn. Grab a double person beanbag from our Cellar Door and claim a spot on the grass overlooking the vineyard. Be sure to have a look around while you’re here and explore the gardens – although once you’re relaxed in a beanbag, we can tell you - it’s hard to get back up! We'll also pack your wine and cheese picnic style for you. Please note the bean bags are not weather protected and there is no contingency plan for bean bag bookings. In the event of poor weather, cancellations and reservations are encouraged or you're more than welcome to come in and pick up your wine + cheese packs to enjoy an at home picnic.

Let one of our Wine-Specialists run you through a table-side wine tasting for $15pp or purchase a bottle and cheese board to enjoy on your visit. Your seat will be outside on the patio, under shelter and next to heating. The cheese, pork terrine, pinot jelly and ciabatta were delicious. The wine was amazing. The view is beautiful. Highly recommend visiting and staying to eat and drink.

Perfect day trip from Melbourne. We received a voucher as a gift because Rob Dolan wines is dog friendly and we take our puppies everywhere. It was such an lovely venue, the food and wine was delicious. Highly recommend with or with the puppies.

Rob Dolan winery is very scenic and beautiful. I think we came on the wrong day as a wedding was being set up / guests arriving during our booking. We are sure it is a beautiful and fun winery on the weekend. Only complaint is the presentation of the cheese board. Cheese came in plastic wrappers and loaf of bread came not cut up and very hard. When everything was unwrapped we had to scatter the plastic wrappers on the table. Was awkward.

Absolutely loved the bean bag picnic overlooking the vineyard Ordered a cheese box and wine both excellent. My partner and I loved the relaxed feel of the place. Staff where so friendly and the building is beautiful. Would definitely come back again and do it again.

We absolutely love Rob Dolan Winery. Staff is super lovely, and accomodating. They have a massive outdoor area where they have bean bags and dog friendly. It is my dogs favourite place as well.

Beautiful setting looking over winery. Cheese and charcuterie items ( all prepackaged and served as such), only. No other food on offer. Quality of produce is of very high standard. You can crake home what you don’t eat. Wind is stunning. Opened bottle can be taken home. Merlot the choccy Labrador is a delightful host.

It was my 2nd visit and it was simply perfect. The weather was cool but the heaters were on outside and the view gorgeous. Food and wine delicious. Staff are exceptional.

Everything was lovely for our patio wine and cheese lunch. The only negative was the weather as it was cold and being outside wasn't as nice as it would have been if the day was warmer (out of everyone's control). The outdoor heaters really didn't suffice. The wine was great as usual and the large cheese platter was delicious and plentiful for 4 people. We had a lovely time despite the wintery spring Melbourne weather!
