Nestled in an historic brewery building in the Village of Wauwatosa, Ristorante Bartolotta dal 1993 is the flagship restaurant in The Bartolotta Restaurants portfolio. Conceived by The Bartolotta Restaurants co-founders, restaurateur Joe Bartolotta and his brother, Chef Paul Bartolotta, it is acclaimed for its handmade pasta and authentic Italian cuisine in a cozy, intimate setting. Executive Chef Juan Urbieta presents the popular “Un Viaggio in Italia” menu series, highlighting a different city or region of Italy with a four-course, customizable menu that takes guests on a journey of Italy and changes monthly.The restaurant was recently awarded the coveted Marchio Ospitalità Italiana certification of excellence by the Italian Union of Chamber of Commerce. This prestigious award honors a restaurant for its commitment to “Made in Italy” quality and authenticity. Reservations are recommended, and we have a 15-minute grace period, so please call us if you are running late.

    My wife and I visited Ristorante for the first time in years - and had a splendid time. The food was terrific - particularly the Artic Char Pasta w/Capers (although a bit rich) and of course their signature Duck Ragu Pasta. They were kind enough to highlight both of our birthdays too. You can never go wrong at Ristornate Bartolotta :)

    Great food and excellent service as usual. Our go to place for special occasions. Best tiramisu in town. We have never been disappointed. Love the changing menu.

    The only comment is that the bread was served cold. (Right out of the fridge.) It was also served cold to the tables around us. We were all surprised. Bread is always wonderful but usually served warm. I asked our server & Tony said it was meant to be served at room temp & would warm it if I wanted. I ate it as served but was surprised it was cold.

    As usual the freshness of the food shines through with amazing pasta, fish , grilled meats, shellfish and dessert. I personally loved the Tagliatelle with Ragu and the Limone dessert with meringue. The service staff, Sara and Tony, were very engaging and pleasant. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and we all left very pleased with our experience

    Come here for our 5 year anniversary and it was lovely! We honeymooned in Italy and this experience truly brought us back. We loved the concept of a rotating menu. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable of the menu, checking in at the perfect times but still allowing us to have our own time. She recommended the perfect N.A. Prosecco for me (8 mo pregnant). The restaurant wrote us a little note congratulating us on our anniversary which was a sweet touch! Will definitely be back to try another region of the menu!

    Excellent experience with great service at the bar and at dining table. They treated us very kindly as we were there celebrating our wedding anniversary. Delicious authentic Italian food, and a good wine list!
