So delicious! Ordered two salads and tuna tartare to share-everything was outstanding and servers were very well versed on their delivery.
Amazing meal and service. Food was fresh and delicious!
Great food and service! Loved the atmosphere. Great place to go with friends or for date night!
Fantastic. One of the best meals I have eaten in awhile. A bit expensive, but you literally get what you pay for. Don't deprive yourself of this experience.
Excellent service, knowledgeable staff and the dishes were to die for! Presentation was beautiful & stunning! I had a pasta & scallop dish that was not only beautifully presented but so delicious! I will be back.
Absolutely the best fried chicken burger I have ever eaten!
We only read the menu upon our arrival, and it really did not capture our interest. The items looked overly complicated with flavors that didn’t seem to belong together. We ended up ordering nothing at all and leaving. We dined at Spinasse instead, and had a fantastic meal.
one of worst restaurants i have been to, terrible food, over priced, poor service, horrible experience
Food was amazing! Service was outstanding! I took some LA folks there and they were super impressed. Can’t wait to go back!
Chef and servers exhibited a tremendous amount of passion about the items on their menu and the restaurant itself. Food was amazing. So many blended flavors that came together nicely...!
Absolutely wonderful. I brought my dad here when he visited and everyone was thrilled with our entrees. Even my 5-year old, who went through a stack of coloring pages supplied by the hostess, approved of her dinner (I know, buttery noodles with cheese should be pretty easy...but this kid finds ways to say no)
This is a very good restaurant in the heart of downtown Seattle. Among the dishes we enjoyed were the peach & burrata salad, the pull-apart rolls with crab shell butter, the black cod and the duck 3 ways. The menu said the duck would be a duck breast, duck leg confit and duck wild rice. I received 2 pieces of duck breast, the duck wild rice and a duck foie gras medallion (without any mention of the change). The duck breasts were excellent, with a crispy skin and the breast meat was very tender. The wild rice was very tasty but just a bit over-seasoned and very rich. The other members of my party really enjoyed the black cod. One other disappointment was that my wife ordered a glass of prosecco and it was flat. We returned it and they came back with a glass from a freshly opened bottle.
Great dinner..good service..loved the duck 3 ways..was staying in hotel Theodore..very convenient for me. Just hoe t return someday.
Food was fantastic. Interesting without being too weird. Waiter was attentive and informative.
Best service all around. The food was amazing. Well worth a visit.
Food was awesome! Definitely we will go back!
wonderful vibe. great food and people. The guy that served us oysters was even more excited about the plate than we were! knowledgable and passionate - pretty much was same for all the staff. simple, beautiful design and great use of the show kitchen. can't wait to go back
One of the best meals my wife and I have had in a long time. Very interesting menu--especially for lovers of mushrooms!
Amazing food coupled with amazing service. Staff has the same attention to detail as the chef...highly recommend.
Server that brought out our oysters was fantastic as he knew the different oysters and explained which sauces would go best with each one.
Food was very good but was over priced compared to similar Salmon I have had elsewhere in Seattle
We loved all the food though we thought the scallops were a bit skimpy -only 3, would have been perfect with 4.
Great place but OVER THE TOP SERVICE! Marielle was our server. Extraordinary woman! she made our day.
Fantastic food i had the dungeness crab and poached eggs amazing
Food is fantastic. The wood fire cooking makes the flavor pop
Great. Service had a few hiccoughs—though not enough to dissuade me from coming back. Delicious food. Need to work on how they deal with food allergies though—not the accommodation of but the communication about.
Lunch was so delicious that we came back for lunch the next day.
Overall enjoyed the experience and the food was very tasty.
My friend and I sat outside, had some amazing oysters for an app then both had nice dinners.
The primary issue was that we came to eat seafood and my friend first ordered the cod, only to find they were out, then asked for the halibut, only to find they were out, and ultimately went with the duck - which he liked but again, not the reason we went to Rider and all surprising given the restaurant wasn’t that full.
I had the scallop pasta and a side of ‘three peas in a pod’ (which I loved) but at times it felt like we were a bit of an afterthought.
Delicious meals, excellent service, fun location, nice atmosphere. We had the green goddess salad, market fish, and Dungeness crab toast. I would eat this meal for lunch everyday if I could.
Great and delicious. Worth the quick wait and full of flavor.
Service was slow. Food was good, but halibut was
Rider had a great vibe. The food was outstanding. Oysters with a cucumber minonette sauce were delicious. We also had the shaved salad. It was fresh and dressed perfectly. I usually don’t have room for dessert but we ordered the honey cake with cherry ice cream. It was worth every morsel.
Everything about this place is awesome. Every ingredient you can taste. Fresh, creative, and just full of flavor. Our server was excited that we ere enjoying every dish.
I had the peach, burrata salad, which was to die for. My dinner companion had the tuna tartare and was equally pleased
The salmon entree was over the top. Beautifully plated, and the tastes were like a party in my mouth. My friend had the halibut. And again every ingredient was tasty.
We shared a special lemon tart with juniper berries, and blueberries was the ultimate way to end this dinner.
Highly, highly recommend Rider
Innovative brunch menu. We split the fish of the day with poached eggs, roasted potatoes and sourdough. Simply outstanding.
Amazingly delicious - wow. And what a beautiful ambiance!
My sister and I want to have a monthly date for Rider just to have the Crab toast.
Great waiter, Chris was excellent! The entrees are very pricey as are the drinks. Wanted to get in the bar for happy hour and though we were in seats on the same level as the bar, no happy hour. The food was good, had to send the bread back that came with the clams...burnt, like black burnt. They were very nice about it. The peach / blueberry ricotta toast is outstanding. The waiter made all the difference, ask for Chris - he was great!
I enjoyed a dozen oysters, and Duck three ways! Service was great, not overbearing, and very informative. Well worth a visit.
Wait staff is outstanding. Attentive and friendly but knew to leave our table to our conversation when we were deep in discussion. Helpful with the menu. The fish was exceptionally fresh and the food preparation and presentation was impressive. And it all tasted as good as it looked.
I thought our first time at Rider was a pleasant venue, nice atmosphere. However, the service was soooooo slow for a Saturday evening at 6:30 pm. It took over 20 minutes to get a cocktail after ordering, and our food (mainly small plates) took 30-40 minutes. We had the cauliflower appetizer which was odd - a little tasteless. We commented about it when asked at the end about the meal, and were comped the dish - very nice! It was my b-day and they brought us some complementary sparkling, which was also very nice. Might try it again, but with a bit of caution. I know others have complained about the slow, but very kind service.
The food was excellent. The atmosphere is comfortable and the service was superb.
