Open through lunch to dinner, Tuesday to Sunday.
Again. We loved our lunch with fabulous seating. Thanks Anne 🤗
Rick Shores never fails to deliver and impress on every level!
The food, view & service was second to none. Definitely be back.
We enjoyed the whole experience celebrating a special occasion- great location, food, service and atmosphere
Amazing view, bug rolls and pork curry was delicious, great service. Would recommend.
Always outstanding....wonderful friendly service and fantastic food. Can't wait to come back.
Food good location great. Unfortunately not very accommodating for children in fact frowned upon that we brought a child, made feel like she won’t bring in enough money. Also told at the start of the evening that we needed to hurry things along because there is a booking behind us overall felt very unwelcome such a shame was a birthday dinner.
Loved it, terrific location, food and service. It is a treat not to be missed.
Love it - have never ever had a disappointment - but would love to see that "Apple crumble" back on the menu - the bug rolls and yellow curry are our favourite. Such a casual but upmarket place all in one.
Had a fantastic night with the family, the meals were all beautiful. The service was very good, our waitress was funny and bubbly, but still very professional. Highly recommended.
Exceptional food. Great banquet. Extensive wine list and arguably the best location on the Gold Coast. Book early for a window table.
Love this place. Will definitely be back. The location right on the beach is spectacular. Wait staff were very accommodating and professional. Food was great
Always great food and ambiance. The view is the best on the coast. Love the prawn curry and friendly staff. Would highly recommend interstate friends to go.
Location and view spectacular but food very ordinary and expensive, wine list good
Fabulous ambience, but don't sit on the western side around lunchtime.
The food ranged from nearly inedible (salty) to excellent, as did the service.
Overall inconsistent and pricey because of this.
well worth a visit. Food that we enjoyed was sensational, disappointed with the one dish I was looking forward to Unfortunately the squid, snake bean, watermelon dish was not at its freshest, beans on the turn and tough, squid tough on the outside and funny softness inside. Overall great Asian influence menu
Staff amazing Thankyou.
Perfect lunch venue. Everything was perfect. Our server Elizabeth was fabulous, views incredible and the food was divine. Highly recommended.
As always the food and service impeccable.
But the heat was unbearable. Whilst on the beach, you expect a little breeze. But nothing the heat really impacted the experience. You need to have more fans. This us my 3rd visit, whilst i love the restaurant, i wont go again on a hot day, you cant relax. In Hawaii they have the large square ceiling fans keeping you cool. Please add more fans.
Certainly not as good as the last time while food is still good at peak times unfortunately I think guest turnover seems to be a higher priority need to come out of peak holiday time and try again !
Wow! The food and location at Rick Shores did not disappoint. After the delicious bug rolls for entree we decided to be a little adventurous and bypass the curries for the pan fried snapper and pork hock with some sides. Could not fault! The Gold Coast skyline view and waves crashing just outside made it extra unique.
We have been several times now ,the views are making the staff are very attentive and the food is delicious although this time the pork hock was a little dry and we we were not told that the crispy pork was not available, which I found very strange but I will be back
Great atmosphere, variety of dishes. Excellent customer service. Spectacular location.
Family get together
Absolutely outstanding service and food
Could not fault anything
Atmosphere and decor is fresh yet intimate. Beautiful spot with a full view of Burliegh beach, parking is a nightmare when the beach is busy though so we parked across from the bowling club.
Service was exceptional, the cocktail list in extensive and delicious! We had the feed me option was excellent we didnt have to make any choices and got a to taste so many things of the menu. (Red curry was hotter than expected though!)
We will Be back for more of the bug rolls they are divine!!!!!
This was my first experience at Rick Shores, and was blown away. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the service, food and beverage were 10/10. I am from NQ, but will make Rick Shores a must do each time i am back visiting family. Hot tip... the bug rolls are the BEST thing i have ever eaten.
This restaurant used to be outstanding - sadly the food was very disappointing on our last visit.
My husband and I booked here for a nice meal while on Xmas holidays. The view, food and experience couldn’t have been more perfect. Love love love! Will be back
We have very dear friends from Sydney that holiday on the coast during the Xmas break each year. And each year we booked At Rick Shores for our annual lunch (which usually goes from mid day to around five in the afternoon!). Fantastic service, fantastic views, fantastic food.
The food is excellent even for our Asian taste. And the service is outstanding. We surely will go back.
Superb location, tasty food but although the service was very friendly, it took a very long time for the food to arrive. We’d been there about an hour and 15 minutes before the starters turned up.
The food in your restaurant was excellent, but the noise level was gross, we could not even have a conversation across the table. We will never visit again, unless you fix the acoustics. Such a shame to have a special occasion absolutely spoilt by not being able to hold a conversation with our family, who had flown in specially for the celebration.
My family and I had a wonderful experience as always. Cannot fault the service, the food, the drinks, view, atmosphere etc. I would eat there every day if I could!
Amazing view and great ambience. Food was asian inspired and we really enjoyed the bug rolls (Moreton Bay bug tails battered served in a brioche bun with lettuce and mayo), and the duck curry (spicy coconut sauce and tender duck pieces) which we had with the roti bread instead of rice. The prices are at the high end but the service was great and the view out to the surf is spectacular!
Our experience overall was exceptional however I’d like to express a few disappointments.
When I booked, well in advance I requested a table by the window for 4 persons as it was a birthday celebration. On arrival we were not given such a table and a table of 4 by the window remained unattended for at least an hour!
Also we were at the first seating for lunch-12pm. We were told we were to be finished by 2.15pm. We noticed every other table seated for the 1st seating remained at their table past the 2.15 pm time slot whereas we were relocated to the bar to finish our dessert and have further food and drinks.
I felt because we were obliging it was to our disadvantaged and prevented us having a completely lovely experience and I question why other tables weren’t given the same instructions as us.
Really enjoyed our dinner and the view is spectacular.
Love Rick Shore. The bug rolls are a must, I recommend the seafood and sides!!! Beach view is incredible and service is outstanding.
Hard to find the entrance. Service was really good and also the vista. Pretty noisy though. Was expecting more.
Great food, excellent service and lovely wine. View was spectacular, one of favourite places to dine. MG
Bug rolls are always amazing. Karaage chicken also a fave.
