Rhein Haus - Seattle
Came to have lunch and watch the football game. Food was wonderful and the atmosphere for the game was a blast
Big space for large groups! Bocce ball courts available. Sports oriented restaurant, so fantastic for watching games on thier large televisions.
They serve big portions and very good food.
Their waitstaff are attentive, courteous, friendly.
Burger just ordinary. Pretzel was good but nothing impressive. Way too noisy for any conversation but could be fun if you wanted to drink and party with friends. Not conducive to networking.
The food was great and there was a lot of it. Very fun atmosphere sitting outside! Having bocce there was very fun!
Excellent German food
Very enjoyable. Service and food are excellent. Great for groups.
We had a great time as always here celebrating my Mom's birthday! Also, I purchased 10 raffle tickets for my adult nephew for their Meat Raffle Mondays. He won several times - a total of $50 in gift card, a 2 person pig dinner & pint of beer, and several different meats! So much fun watching him win!
Service and food was great! I believe our server’s name was Sarah, and she was great.
Love the fun atmosphere, vibe and delicious food. Just wish the music wasn't so loud coming from the bar area.
Service was pretty slow when we visited last even though it was not busy. It was kind of a bummer that they don’t do their giant pretzels in the middle of the day which was the entire reason we came. The food we ordered was good, though. Normally it’s a hit, so we will be back again.
At 11 on a Sunday morning every table was dirty with very limited staff on hand. The kitchen was in transition from world cup breakfast buffet with limited food available until almost 12. Suggest you call ahead for their schedule if you want brunch on a Sunday during soccer season to see what they are serving.
Great food, easy on-street parking (late saturday afternoon), a casual atmosphere, cool breezes coming through the sunny windows – just what we needed after a fun-filled day exploring downtown Seattle. The Giant Pretzel was fabulous, and the belgian beer choices solid.
I was really excited to come to the restaurant however, I was quickly disappointed with the food. I ordered a giant pretzel and a brat sandwich. The food was Luke warm when It came to me and it didn’t taste very good. I was not impressed at all with the food.
Good German bar food.
Food was terrible- almost as if they served old food from the previous day
Wonderful food, plenty of food, two take out containers. Bloody Mary cottail was weak. Beers were good.
My new favorite place, great homemade sausages, fresh beer, amazing strudel
Great food and great beers. Wish we could have played bocce but there was event that evening.
The restaurant is great, I only wish they played German music. It would have made the experience much better!!
Very good food & selection. Very efficient & personable staff.
Good service when we arrived & during our meal
Excellent German food. The Smorgasboard item on the menu was a great mix, and more than enough for two hearty appetites!
We've been here several times and never ceased to enjoy it! Great food, pleasant environment, and kind, attentive staff. Great place with amazing atmosphere, especially during a Seahawks game!! They have bar seating, games, and are kid friendly.
The food came out burnt and did not taste like the German food I had in Germany, base on my experience, I would not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for the type and taste of the food you were use to in Europe.
love this place!!
Excellent menu and outstanding service. Very glad that my coworker recommended this place for my company's annual holiday party. Everyone had a great time!
We have been earing at several restaurants in Germany and in Austria and we love schnitzel. This is the main reason why we were looking for an authentic German restaurant here in Seattle. However, it was cold and pretty dark inside, the atmosphere in general was not at all inviting and the food (we ordered pork schnitzel with potato salad) was just mediocre. The breading of the schnitzel was drenched with some sauce and the potato salad was very greasy. Overall, we hoped for something much better.
Our family met up here for a birthday celebration. It is a great place to go for celebrations! The food was great, we got a wonderful table where we could see the Bocce games, and the wait staff were attentive. We have never played Bocce before - what fun! Easy to learn and you can often play more than one game within the allotted time. As far as the food goes - the hardest part is choosing what to eat! They have a good-sized selection and it all sounds great! We will have to go again so we can try something else on the menu.
Love the German beer and food is great. Some touches like jalepenos on the flamkuchen (German flatbread pizza) detract from some of the dishes. Good German food doesn't need a redo. When you want German food, though, this is a great place. Fun with groups, especially.
We were a party of 8 for a birthday brunch and football outing - the drinks were great and the food and service even better. The waitress was very attentive to us for along 4.5 hour stretch and even gave the birthday a beer on her! Definitely will be back, great for groups!
The food was fantastic the huge pretzel was amazing, service fantastic, they catered to all our needs and moved our time earlier for Bocce. Second time there and i would definitely go back!
Great place to go for watching sports and having a beer and snacks with friends. We like the shareable food better than the entrees. My friend missed a step, fell and hit her head. The staff was incredible as they helped her before the ambulance came.
Extremely noisy. Goulash soup was good, but Jaegerschnitzel was burnt and there was hardly any mushroom sauce on it. It was also pretty bland - needed some seasoning. Spaetzle was also burnt. Peanut Butter Crack & Salted Caramel Ice Cream was weird - the ice cream tasted bitter. Although it was really busy, the server did a decent job of being attentive.
Food was good, I liked the big bierhaus feel but the music was more geared to the bar crowd (loud and harsh) than the 6pm dinner crowd. I wasn’t expecting accordions but the ambience could be improved if I could eat without my cutlery vibrating from the music.
The website said they opened at 4. We got there at 4 because we had an event at 6. We found out they only have happy hour from 4-5. We couldn't order off the full menu until 5. Only a few snacks available. Also it was very hot. The doors were open and no air conditioning. The waiter did bring us a menu a little before 5 and the food was pretty good.
Vibe of restauarant was cool and food was pretty good, especially the pretzel. I would have rated higher but we sat outside and could not get any service. We decided to try inside and our waiter spent most of his time flirting with the table across from us (not that I blame him). We had to speak up to get anything and to get our check. I would recommend we just probably had some bad luck.
Beware the parking. As in--none reasonable. However, the food was delicious--I had the pork schnitzel with apple slaw; my friend has bratwurst with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. The service was perfect, attentive but not intrusive. I did like it a lot.
Great food... Reception SUCKS
Make reservations and seated at bar.... Excuse... We have several large parties ... So the two of us don't matter
Great staff, wonderful food.
As German visiting the USA it was great to be able to eat at reinhaus and feel a little bit like home. Some of the dishes are slightly Americanized but overall very authentic and tasty. I would recommend going there.
Food was not at all good--poorly cooked and presented. The pretzel was pretty good though.
