Revolve True Food Wine Bar
Some of the biggest current health trends will find a plethora of options on Revolve’s menu; Gluten-free, Paleo, Whole30, Ketogenic, 30/10, Mediterranean, Ideal Protein and others will have more options at Revolve than most traditional restaurants offer. In addition, the restaurant is celiac safe. Many people with allergies and sensitivities can dine without concern for cross contamination since the kitchen is 100% free of grains, gluten, legumes (including soy and peanuts), GMO’s and preservatives.
The concept of this restaurant is the culmination of Revolve owner Dr. Dusty DuBois’ holistic approach to wellness. Everything is made fresh daily from the highest quality ingredients available: grass-fed sirloin cali-burgers, wild caught fish and chips, hormone free bacon wrapped dates, and grain-free bread pudding, just to name a few offerings.
Great to find a place that caters to our food allergies. Highly recommend.
Usually, the service is great. I think we had a new waiter. Or the place was understaffed. It was a national holiday, after all.
Details: It took too long for him to come back and take our order. It took too long for the drinks to arrive. After we ordered, the waiter never picked up our menus.
Oh, and I really didn't care for the sweet potato hash. It was kinda soggy, like it was yesterday's has reheated in a microwave or something. (But I'm biased. I don't care for sweet potatoes.)
Great food and fantastic service
As usual had a wonderful time and fantastic food. We compared Neil's negroni to Tony's negroni for cocktails, and prefer the last one. This time we tried the salmon mousse, the beet salad, the pork chops and the fish tostadas, then the chocolate pot. Everything was wonderful. Service was perfect, always smiling, helpful and nice.
We really like coming to Revolve... It has become our main date-night dinner location. Knowing that the menu is GF and organic - it is the best of that type of restaurant around.
Expensive for mediocre food. 20$ for a chicken sandwich
Loved the flight of Mimosas! Carmelized pineapple and blood orange were my favorite!
The food was great. However, they weren't busy. The server took a very long time to get to us. The food took a very long time to come out. After the food came out, it felt like they forgot about us. We'll probably give them one more chance, but they need to do better.
We made reservations for brunch on Saturday but didn’t have to worry as only 1 table seated when we arrived (10:15) so maybe more people show up later. We had crab cake Benedict which was good but took about 25 minutes to receive ( strange since only one other table eating) but it was delicious and nicely prepared. Richard, our server, was very pleasant and attentive so that made the dining experience nice. I took a friend for her 92nd birthday as she REALLY wanted to try it and did love it so that made it all worthwhile! I think there business is probably made in happy hour and lunch and dinner during the week. Outside dining available( in the sidewalk) for nice days! I’m rather conventional and shy away from places that don’t have toast or biscuits for breakfast but they are a vegan, non GMO, gluten free restaurant so I was able to cope for this one meal!!!! They have a delicious ancho sauce concoction that serves as their catsup and it’s Delicious with a kick to it!!
As always we had a delightful evening at Revolve with friends. Always love the Moroccan Chicken Thighs. The beet salad was delicious. Unfortunately, one went against their instinct and ordered steak which he would not order again. It was a very thin cut and just okay. We have a rule of not ordering steak at a restaurant that doesn't specialize in them and we'll continue to stick by it. The food arrived promptly and the service was excellent as always.
Service was great. Drinks were very good. The food was mostly good. I wish they had regular french fries along with their sweet potato fries. Also the braised short ribs had a slight reheated flavor.
My wife and I ordered a 10 oz boneless ribeye that is supposed to be one of their signature dishes. I ordered mine "blood rare" and my wife ordered hers rare. At 10 oz., I was expecting a 3/4 inch medallion, but what I got was approximately a 1/2 inch steak that was undoubtedly 10 oz, but both were way over done.
The waitress was great and replaced them, but for a signature dish, it is really hard to get a steak of that size to the right temperature when it is that thin. I would not recommend the ribeye.
Others in our party ordered rockfish and were very pleased.
Again, our waitress was fantastic and the chef was apologetic, so the service was great.
So thankful for a safe, gluten-free restaurant that serves delicious food. My husband and son (who do not have Celiac disease, as do I) also love this restaurant. Look forward to many more meals here.
We went for a special occasion for my moms birthday. Mentioned this when booking, mentioned when checking in for reservation. None of us had ever been before. Despite only 4 other tables there, service was slow (over 10 minutes to get our cocktails) and never a mention of my sweet moms birthday or any recognition. Disappointing as we had our choice of many amazing restaurants at the price point in the area. Hoping our disappointing first impression can improve if we ever return.
I was greeted as soon as I walked 8n the door. There is counter, table and booth seating. Portions are not huge, but those of us who eat organic are used to more health- appropriate sized meals.
This is a hidden gem in the paleo and healthy food world. The food is so good that your gluten loving friends wouldn't even know it's gluten free. I highly recommend going for happy hour. The HH menu is really affordable, delicious, and filling. The bacon wrapped dates are wonderful. The steak frites is a good portion. I have really enjoyed every meal here. The only downside is that we only ordered off the happy hour menu and we ordered quite a bit, but then the server sort acted like we should be ordering off the entree menu as well. We spent $70 on the happy menu and I don't think we needed to order more. But the feeling was that he expected us to.
Poor beer selection as they missed their weekly shipment. Did not have seltzer water or club soda. Slow to bring ordered drinks to the table. On the upside, the dinners were tasty and well presented. The sweet potato fries are very good. They gave us a coupon for a free appetizer for not having drink selections and an entree that was sold out.
The food wasn't the best. The chef seems to miss the mark. The wait staff could be much friendlier. Seems the person was lifeless and didn't check in as much as wait staff should. Need more people that are wanting to work and are friendly and give more care. Seems they wanted to be some where else than there. Sad. The food was not consistent the sides were great. Seems the staff needs some structure and more training and more life in them. You can hear the people around you more than you want. Maybe find some new talent and people that understand the food they are serving seems people are uneducated on the food. I don't think training close to where people can hear is very smart. The prices are to high for some that are looking for good food and fun but cannot pay the price tag. Just a few things to notice.
Everything was good but not outstanding. They have a great menu of gluten free food along with a good selection of drinks and wine. But when it came down to execution, my spouse's hash was a little overcooked as was my fried chicken.
First time dining at Revolve. The food is good and well prepared/presented. Can’t say that anything we tried blew our minds though... The bar height tables are very uncomfortable. Fortunately, there was a table outside we were able to sit at (quite comfortable comparatively).
unfortunately this will be the last time we go here. We've been multiple times -trying to support a gluten-free establishment. Each time we go there is a completely new service staff. This is the second time in a row that service was unacceptable - we waited 10 minutes once seated - finally someone came over and said our server had "abandoned us". Took our order - food came - never saw a server again. Food was marginal. Had the pork - size was about 3 bits - $28. Too much for too little.
It was just okay. Fish and chips were bland, brussel sprouts were salty, chicken sandwich came with a wilted lettuce wrap and bacon was barely cooked. Chicken strip appetizer and wrapped dates were well received by the family. If you have any additional food sensitivity outside of gluten, this is not the best place to accommodate you.
My husband is gluten intolerant and I’m allergic to cane sugar. But we have other food allergies as well and it would be nice if there was a bigger choice of foods because we can only eat a few things.
Love love love REVOLVE! First mother’s days out where it didn’t feel like rushed. Ive only had brunch and lunch here (I know it’s time for dinner!😂). The food is always stellar, and OMG my Kevin bacon bloody Mary Best ever!!! Loved our server, had her b4 and she is the best!!! So warm and engaging and attentive....AND working on her Mother’s Day too! (Hard wrk’n mama). Thank you and again for an all around amazing dinning experience.
We love Revolve and finally went for brunch for the first time. The smoked salmon Benedict and the chicken fried chicken were enjoyed immensely, but the special frittata was disappointing. While the flavor was good, it was rubbery. The GF cheddar cauli muffin sweet potato home fries were killer! 😋
Uneven results of their attempts to do everything (except beer) without grains. The taro tortilla couldn't be cut and shattered when trying to fold it. The fish portions on the tostados and the fish and chips were very skimpy for the price. The gluten-free bun held the burger but didn't add any flavor or texture to it. It took a long time to get our drinks although the place was not full.
I came in for a first date and the service staffed treated me like family. They saw how nervous I was and help me set down before my big date. They gave me a great table and let us talk as long as we wanted even though the restaurant was getting full. I would go back again.
I’ve eaten here many times and for the 1st time, the service was very slow. Our server seemed to be spread a bit thin and didn’t see when we asked for them when we wanted to order dessert. However, food is wonderful as always.
Delicious and fun. Perfect service from Stephanie. Found out Mondays are happy hour menu all evening! great cocktails and then we ordered four of the five red wines to share between us for a tasting. Shared two salads, then our entrees were pork mole, short ribs, and fish and chips. Everything was excellent.
We are now expect fantastic at this place every time we come. None of us need to be gluten free --- the food is absolutely delicious.
Service was very slow and food took a long time to be brought out
Whether you are a gluten-free or not this is a great restaurant. You can tell the minute the plate arrives that you were eating “real” food that is healthy. No over salting. It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.
It was a good experience. The staff were very nice, but appeared to be rushed. We were seated right away, but it took a while to get our drinks. They have a nice menu, but the lamb chops were a bit small and pretty fatty for $27. The best part of the evening was the desserts. They have a fantastic dessert selection. The brownie was warm and moist, like it had just come out of your Mom's oven.
Spent the late morning brunching in the private room downstairs. Amazing menu and staff. Only 12 people RSVP’d for my event and over 20 showed up but the staff just rolled with it. Service with a smile. I would definitely do an event here again.
The atmosphere is great and comfortable. You can hear the next table next to you clearly. The food is delicious. It was very cold on a cold day. The heating system could be updated. You want to stay long enough to eat and relax. It was a bit noisy you can hear everyone around you. The fish and chips was great. If you order the soup it is smaller wish it was a little bigger. Some of the items sound great to try next time. It is a $$-$$$ cost for the food. I heard about others experiences and it is a great place to try and eat healthier foods. The better foods are attractive. The desserts are yummy.
Food is incredible and service is friendly
We had a group of 6 for a birthday. Dinner was delicious! However, service was incredibly slow. Our server would disappear for long stretches, it took 30 minutes to order a round of drinks. We were not able to get separate checks, and so did the math ourselves and handed over our note with card numbers and amounts. In the end he ended up adding $5.30 to one if the cards. Which isn’t a big deal except, it was the member of our party who had just fallen in the restroom b/c they had mopped, the floor was soaked and there was not a sign. They ended up giving her a gift card, but over charged her.....so strange! We joked the gift card was probably $5.30. We had a great time anyway and the food was excellent. With so many great restaurants in the area we probably won’t go back.
Beginning with the hostess, who was not friendly nor welcoming our experience at Revolve was disappointing. Our drinks came after we finished our appetizers, the food was underwhelming at best.
The food was thoughtfully prepared and and good value for dine around week. The restaurant was a bit hard to find as the signage was a bit difficult to see from the street. The upper name was right in the way of the lightpole, and the side signs only visible from the side.
The waiter was trying to be attentive, but there was a large group who needed attention. Understandable on a busy night.
Overall the food and atmosphere was good and will try to visit again soon.
So good, but so slow. We arrived for a 6:00 reservation at 5:45 on a Wednesday night and didn't leave until after 8:00. We weren't in a hurry, but there was a lot of waiting.
We went for Seattle Restaurant Week. The dinner was very disappointing and the waitstaff wasn’t attentive at all. Would come back for brunch just not dinner.
