Rendezvous Brasserie ltd
People visit us from all over the South East to enjoy our authentic French Mediterranean cuisine. The ingredients for our dishes are carefully selected from local sources as well as London markets to ensure the highest quality and freshness.
Our menus offer an extensive choice that caters for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike and are great value. We have an extensive choice from the spread out across our daily ‘Menu Rapid’ and the Brasserie A la Carte.
Did was poor I had Calf’s liver which was burnt and the mash potatoes reminded me of bad school dinners.
Overpriced for the quality of the food
The finest steak my husband has ever eaten. Very tender with gorgeous flavour enhanced by the caramelised onions.
Beautiful chicken with superb flavour and very tasty sauce.
The poached peaches and violet ice-cream made a very refreshing end to the meal.
I booked the restaurant for my Mother and a friend of hers. My Mother was wary as she had been to another restaurant a few miles away at the weekend and was extremely disappointed in, what was, her favourite restaurant.
She was delighted with The Rendezvous and found it was excellent in these Covid19 times.
Food was lovely if a little overpriced. The service was awful, the waiter had an attitude like he didn't want to be there. Bread and butter was dumped on table with no plates or knives. Long wait for someone to walk by who we could ask for these. From then on we had to request cutlery with every course which took some time as waiter wouldn't look our way after leaving the food and walking off; I had a feeling this was a deliberate refusal to make eye contact until it suited him. Ended up getting help from a waitress each time who was looking after other tables. When staff were gathered at the bar we overheard their converstaion with lots of swearing which was not a good look. Not surprised the service wasn't great with the owner leading by example - witnessed another group ask him for an extra chair as they didnt have enough to seat their party (really should have been noticed by staff before they had to ask), to which he replied curtly 'Ask the waiter'.
Nicer layout now few tables removed, good quality food as normal
We had a meal for 2. I don’t drink and my BF had a couple of glasses of house wine. I didn’t have a main and we shared a pudding. It came to over £100! Just not good value - shame because if the pricing was right we’d feel much better about it. Good service, nice food
Food was surprisingly delicious. Service was good and ambience is good too.
We have always been huge fans of the Rendezvous and whilst the restaurant has been closed because of COVID 19 we have enjoyed several takeaways which were really excellent. We ate with friends in our gardens as soon as this was possible. We decided that as soon as the restaurant was open again we would book a table for the four of us. We visited on Friday evening and we were so impressed by the amount of work that had been done to make diners feel as safe and comfortable as possible. The staff were wonderful and the food, ambiance and menu choices as excellent as always.
Thank you to everybody for making our evening so special and we will definitely be back soon.
Great food and location
Met friends for Sunday lunch. Restaurant was busy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. There was a large birthday party group who were quite loud as was the music so we found the dining room a little noisy.
However, wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Really enjoyed our lunch.
Feels very old fashioned. A wasted Saturday night and I will not be returning.
They always look after us very well!
Lovely atmosphere good food and good service, lovely evening
Rendevous Brasserie in Westerham is well worth the visit. The menu is good as is the wine list. My scallops (first course) were as nice as I have had anywhere, and the size wonderful. The portion size of all dishes was good, in fact I did not have desert. My only negative is that the tables are very close together and there is no degree of privacy. However it would not stop me going again.
Good Brasserie style lunch menu. Eaten here several times and consistently good.
Very friendly service, excellent food and nice ambience. Thoroughly enjoyed.
We travelled from Croydon to go to this restaurant for my husband's birthday for a Saturday lunch and it was well worth it. Delicious food, good service and they even did a chocolate fondant for him with a candle. We all really enjoyed ourselves.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal, generous portions, well cooked and especially good vegetables, which is a change from half-cooked frozen veg in many restaurants. Excellent choice of food
Another enjoyable evening. Excellent food & service. Definitely recommend
Very disappointing. You needed pneumatic jaws to chew the steak. The roast turkey Christmas dinner was really poor. This used to be a nice French restaurant. What ever happened?
Staff were attentive starter was ok but mains looked like they had been plonked on the plate. Sauce vierge was minced tomato and onion that was very cold plonked onto my hit fish. My companions goats cheese salad was whole/ halved radishes slices of beetroot the size of a teacup and a whole goats cheese. Not very refined at all
Our party of eight was attentively looked after. The food was excellent, everyone enjoyed themselves
Lovely easy local restaurant with a good touch of refined dining. I will definitely go back soon .
All six of us enjoyed our evening very much. We were there to say 'thank you' to one of our number. she had not been to The Rendezvous before and said she would certainly be returning.
The meals were excellent, the wine good and service very attentive.
Food was fantastic and very reasonable in price. Service was very attentive but not over powering.
We enjoyed the meal very much would reccomend
I pop in quite often for lunch or breakfast and it never disappoints. Very enjoyable place to be and the food is always very good.
Good restaurant, good food, very polite, but the evening I was there, too many loud people who just be used to eating in MacDonalds, just shouting at each other.
It's a nice restaurant in a lovely location. Food was 'good' but not outstanding. And very pricey.
Having said that - if it was for a special occasion I would go back.
Good service and lovely quality food.
Very friendly and pleasant atmosphere no loud voice s!!! Or loud music nice for adults!!!! 😃
Everything about this restaurant was lovely as always. Great service without being OTT. Rapide menu is good value. Recommend to anyone
Very nice indeed - this is a real asset to Westerham. Friendly staff, good menu and food that lives up to the menu. A jewel in Westerham’s crown where the choices are few. Thoroughly recommend
Another excellent visit to The Rendezvous. We took two friends and this was their first experience at this very good brasserie. The Mussels were sublime as always here. Service was efficient and friendly which is always appreciated. Highly recommended!
We had an enjoyable midweek lunch at this brasserie, not for the first time. Food was all delicious and the service was pleasant and assured. Portion sizes were very acceptable and we came away feeling very satisfied without being overly full. They were able to deal easily with gluten free requirements of one diner. Highly recommended.
We have really changed our minds recently and find the food and service great, we will return, it certainly has much improved.
We go regularly and find the food excellent!
I booked a table for my guest and I two days beforehand. I have enjoyed the Rendezvous for 20 years but have not been recently. We arrived at 7:20pm to a perfunctory “welcome” and were shown to a very small table by a pillar ie no window view, or room. We ordered our drinks, olives and bread which finally arrived. We ordered a risotto and chicken stroganoff which hadn’t arrived by 8:55pm when for the first time in my life I walked out of the restaurant. Our order had apparently not made it to the kitchen! They were busy, rushing around looking harassed, appeared to have sufficient staff but with insufficient training, in my view. No apology, no offer of discount.....embarrassing. We left politely, but I will be writing to the restaurant. I am left wondering what on earth went wrong?
Good food and great service... will definitely be back!
Unfortunately two of our party were held up on the M23 so we occupied our table a little later than booked. The food was excellent and the service generally good but we felt we were hurried out at the end of the meal. This was probably because we were late starting our meal however it was not very late into the afternoon. We were not offered coffee after the deserts.
All of our party have eaten at Rendezvous on several previous occasions and have enjoyed it immensely so I guess we will go back again.
A TAD BETTER THAN AVERAGE BUT THIS WAS TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT IN THE COST INCLUDING THE 12.5% GRATUITY RESULTING IN REASONABLE VALUE OVERALL.
