Food was amazing, service was fairly good, disappointed in selection of drinks and the happy hour choices were terrible. Good value for meals and nice decor, shame the hotel and the bar are not up to the same standards to create a fluid place to eat, drink and stay in though.

Found the serving size much smaller than expected for the price of the meal. i.e. the "Mixed seafood plate" was very small for $36 with very small items, served with salad it wasn't filling at all. The sticky splash of balsamic next to the grilled prawns - was on the opposite side of the plate to the salad. Awkward placement - might look ok but the flavour doesn't mix! The dessert was enjoyable - the chef's special Apple Crumble - yum.

We were also placed next to the door on a cold night - when there was vast restaurant space to place customers with greater comfort. Bit disappointing overall.

It was a very quiet Saturday evening, but very enjoyable. Food was lovely, staff were attentive, wine list very good. A special treat to celebrate our wedding anniversary was also a beautiful touch.

Food was far from what we've enjoyed in the past. Ribeye promised layers of flavour - sorry was the most bland thing ever. Also don't advertise a rack of lamb when you mean cutlets.

Staff were lovely though very busy. I'd say the room was slightly understaffed.

We stay at the hotel when we come to Adelaide. I won't be back to the restaurant unless I notice a sharp rise in reviews.

Food good - service a bit slow.
I had prawns - which can be messy so I was surprised that I was not offered a bowl of lemon water to keep my fingers clean.
Deserts were excellent - tiramisu as good, if not better, than recently eaten in Italy.
Would return.

Seafood platter at $36 included frozen prawns and a very small piece of dry salmon amongst a few other things. Pesto pasta hardly had any pesto in it and not much flavour. Not good value for money and a disappointing experience being within a 4 star hotel complex.

The occasion was for 60th birthday dinner. The staff where great friendly went out of there way free dessert and sang Happy Birthday to the guest of honour. The problem one of the meals came late, after all had eaten. Was complimentary with apologies.

I have previously eaten at Redsalt many years ago and was impressed but unfortunately was let down in many different ways this visit. It took 20 minutes and two reminders just to get our wine we had ordered, the quality of steak for $40 was below average and something I would expect from a $20 special at a pub and the bread was stale.

Booked in excess of a month prior to event, received email confirming booking, received reminder sms's, then on the night of the birthday celebration, walked in and restaurant didn't even have us down as a booking had to wait while table was set. It took away all the excitement of walking in to celebrate the birthday. The booking system is crap that's for sure and the blank look on the staff member that met us didn't help either. Our waiter was very good.

The restaurant did not have our reservation at all. I had to show my email confirmation because they did not believe we had a reservation.
The food was ordinary, poorly prepared and tasteless.
The location is adjacent to the reception area, so not a good atmosphere.
The food was over-priced for what was on offer.
The wine list was over priced for well-known bottles.
Service was good and attentive, when I raised my concerns, they assisted and helped.

Although the food was tasty and well presented, the atmosphere was stilted as there were few people in the restaurant, even though it was a Friday night. The service was adequate initially, however when the later staff member took over around 10pm, he was casually dressed and not attentive as expected of a higher quality restaurant. No desserts or coffees were offered, and we had to ask for these. I do not plan on returning.
