   Our server Will was fantastic. His recommended dishes and espresso martinis were wonderful. The only complaints I have were, a few pieces of the wagyu were too tough and fatty to be edible, and there was nothing special or superior done for the birthday boy. Not even a dessert on the house for a $400 tab at the end of the night for 2 diners. So why bother to ask if we are celebrating anything special? Otherwise, everything was fine.

   Grace was our server and was fantastic! We were celebrating my graduation from GW and she brought out a small glass of champagne to celebrate. We were also sitting next to a couple who were fairly drunk and rowdy and she handled it eloquently while also taking care of our table. We can’t say enough good things about Grace! Now to start on our food experience, to start, the wine list was well curated. We each had something different but all were delicious. The fresh baked rolls that come at the beginning are heaven in a bun! We each ordered the filet mignon with a sauce and then shared the lobster Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes, all to die for!!! The filet just melted in your mouth and was exceptional. Finally we finished off with some ice cream and a crème brûlée, which was topped with fresh berries. Absolutely delicious and a great way to cap off our celebration. If you’re looking for a class steakhouse, with excellent cuts, great wine, delicious sides and incredible service, RARE is the place for you!

   Had a wonderful dining experience with out-of-town colleagues at Rare. We had a large party that was seated in the lovely and less noisy upstairs dining room. Everyone enjoyed the cocktail and wine selections and the special-ordered cheese curd starters that are not to be missed! Rare was able to accommodate one diner’s vegetarian needs nicely and everyone enjoyed their entrees. I recommend the lobster bisque and chopped Caesar salad (delish anchovy-infused dressing). Also, the service staff were so nice and treated us all like family, which was awesome. Would def recommend Rare to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a posh and inviting setting!

   For the price we paid $235.00 for 2 appetizer, 1 steak, and 1 side.... At least I should have tasted flavor .. and what steak house don't have steak sauce. I won't be back again... I'll stick to outback or golden corral.

    As far as proper ‘steakhouse’ experiences go, this one is just laid back enough to make it a regular option. The prices are on the lower end of expensive steakhouses ~60-75 for a dry aged cut, the portions are generous, the cocktails are amazing if not a little overprice and the service is extremely attentive and anticipates your needs without being overbearing. Food came out at reasonable times. My only complaint would be my steak was marginally over salted, but the dry aged flavor was strong and they do a proper steakhouse cook that’s not afraid to give you rare/medium rare when you ask for it.

    Where to start with rare .... beside the staff that is running , literally , to help you with the service everything else is just a disappointment........ the octopus was harder than a wood stick ...... the ribeye was not tender.texture nor have buttery flavor ... Never seen a ribeye so hard to cut , no on the other hand both have good mouth flavor meaning the kitchen is just not doing a good job fallowing the chef and they are buying cheap meat ... hope they improve , Not trying to kill the place

    Amazing is the only word to describe Rare! The steaks and seafood are always cooked to perfection and the service is top-top notch. This visit we had Patrisia and she and the support staff were amazing. Everyone was so attentive and helpful. Ernesto and Martin at the front of the house were wonderful and welcoming as always. Their assistance with our wine choices was greatly appreciated. After a hard week at work I couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing amazing way to start our weekend. Thank you all!

    More casual and comfortable than other top tier steakhouses. Menu items are well prepared. Specials were outstanding. Wine selection and service was personal and great. Waitress was delightful.

    Upon booking my reservation on OpenTable, Rare Steakhouse contacted me a few hours before my booking to confirm my reservation. Upon arrival, the place looked and felt expensive. I loved the ambiance. I ordered the filet mignon medium well with the chipotle aioli sauce and creamed spinach. I definitely enjoyed the steak and creamed spinach. Both came out hot and were delicious and cooked to perfection. Prices are a little steep but I enjoyed the food. I also ordered the Tropical Fizz drink and Riesling to drink. Both were good. It's a nice restaurant for a date night or special occasion.

    Celebrated my son's 27th birthday at RARE Steakhouse. The ambience, decor, attention to detail and delicious food were a pure delight. My son had the steak which melted in your mouth. The appetizers were served family style and our meals were delicious. Allison our and server was wonderful, accommodating and well versed on the menu and recommendations. Thank you for providing a birthday cupcake to commemorate my son's day! We had such a great time, we virtually closed the restaurant being one of the last groups to depart. Thank you for a memorable evening. I can't wait to dine at your wonderful establishment again!

    Cuts of steak were well proportioned. A touch salty for my liking but im not big on salt. The wine menu is actually very good with moderate pricing. The sommelier recommended a fabulous wine for us. Desert was excellent

    We had a disappointing evening The good our steaks and Bronzino were good We ordered cream spinach didn’t get Hamachi had more grapefruit sections than fish The latte was coffee After our appetizers were cleared it took20- 30 minutes to get our steaks The service was poor I realize we are in a tough labor market but at those prices our expectations would be a little higher Or maybe it would have been appropriate to see a manager walking around to check on things apologize for delay or some variation

    Spectacular steak with attentive service. NY Strip cooked to perfection, wonderful char on the surface with tender, juicy core. Paired with Sautéed Brussels and it was a wonderful meal.

    This was my husbands birthday and we had the worst steak we have ever had in our life!! Steak was badly cooked and unprofessionally handled when we told waiter.. Waiter was good, but Chef said the awful steak was fine.. it was far from Fine!! Worst steak ever!! Uber driver said 4 of his patrons said worst steaks ever!!! Sad!! Beautiful restaurant!!

    One of the best steak house I have ever been to. We ordered the special 30 oz ribeye, medium rare, which came out charred and crispy on the outside but moist and juicy on the inside. The service was also very attentive and the atmosphere is great for either business meal, date night, or special occasions.

    Great experience and service. The Food was rather good. My only complaint is the menu needs updating. They do not regularly offer beef dry aged past 45 days. I was expecting to have the option of beef 65-75 days dry aged. We did not find that out until we were seated. Otherwise the dining experience was great. We also ordered the A5 Japanese Waygu that was offered at 30/ounce.

    Sides were great. Steak was a cheaper cut (Capitol cut). For the prices, should have been prime. Tiger shrimp on menu as presented were not.
