Whenever we visit Chicago, we have dinner here. It’s always top notch. The ramen and bao buns we had were so flavorful. We definitely didn’t leave hungry as the portions are very generous. If you love ramen, this place is a must try.

The pork belly buns were just ok. Nothing special I saw so many reviews about them. They said spicy mayo wasn’t spicy at all. The ramen was ok I was so hopeful for the 10 hour tonkotsu. So many great reviews. Didn’t deliver for me personally. The music was amazing I love the music. For 50 dollars I would try some other places.

Worst experience ever! Very loud, vulgar rap music playing while families tried to eat. We waited over 15 minutes to be served water, let alone take our dinner choices. The restaurant was not even 1/2 full and no servers in sight. Not our first time here, but definitely our last- We walked down the street and found a much better spot with better service and ambiance

The lunch special was delicious! A gourmet take on ramen noodles. I took my girlfriend for the first time and she was absolutely mind blown; definitely recommend coming here

The appetizer wings were overcooked and very dry, and they were advertised as spicy but we didn’t taste anything spicy other than Chinese five spice. The ramen itself was fine

The food was amazing. The service was fantastic. The music was heavy on the bass so m if that bothers you, it might be an issue dining inside. They had nice outdoor seating available as well. Definitely will go again!!

Cocktails were just okay but I didn't come for those. The ramen was everything I'd hoped it be. I got the Sumo but they also have Express lunch options that the rest of my group got ans it all seemed like a great deal. I'd go back to the city to eat here again.

Made a reservation and yet was made to wait over 20mins beyond my reservation time. The special request made on open table was not even recorded in their system. Our server was good but the food was below average. I wouldn't go again.

It is time for businesses to stop the “surcharge” item on the bill, we are long past Covid times and almost 2 years after, I continue seeing this item being added. It is a bad business practice, stop it. Some of the food items were not as good as expected, ramen is great as always.

Great food and everything came out fast. Taste was on point. Place looks clean and good ambience but the service was a disappointment. Although our server was nice it didn’t paid any attention at all to our table. The server was also attending the bar while other servers were just standing around… will recommend carry out but not dinning in.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Host staff was very friendly and got us sat very quickly on a busy Saturday. The server was just as friendly and helpful. The food is incredible! I can’t wait to go back.

I really enjoyed my experience at Raman-San. We arrived a little ahead of our reservation, so we sat at the bar for sake. It was really my first time drinking sake, and it was interesting. But the bartender was very helpful in explaining sake to me. Once we were taken to our table, we continued to have outstanding service from the server, who was explaining all of the items that we were interested in and gave us a great appetizer recommendation, with the shrimp and pork dumplings. My noodles were great and the broth was flavorful. I guess I have found a new noodle place!

This is my favorite restaurant in River North, hands down. I love that menu is manageable and focuses on what they do best. This was the first time I sat outside, which was a nice change, but I still prefer inside. The kimchi fried chicken ramen is my absolute go to, and the little donuts for dessert. :)

We are from the St. Louis area so this was our first experience at Ramen-San. We are already looking forward to our next trip back to Chicago!! The atmosphere was fun and welcoming. The open, industrial vibe was warm and welcoming but without feeling claustrophobic. The food was to die for. Our waitress was attentive and explained the menu, even finding chopstick grippers for my 12 year old! We had the best dining experience we’ve had in ages.
