Problem w getting seating. Seemed disorganized. I like the balloon makers! His coconut shrimp was cold and chewy. I enjoyed my taco salad as usual! Waiter Angel was helpful! Enjoy the unique experience. Too bad location is closing after tomorrow.
Will be missed. Opened in October 1995, closing on January 1, 2020. One of the first Rainforest Cafes.
The last time I was at your restaurant was about twenty years ago. This time I brought my six year ole niece. We really enjoyed ourselves. I am looking for a Kimberly street sign. I was not successful finding this at the Woodfield location. I will try the Chicago location.
OK for kids - they love he experience but the food is acceptable at best.
We had a blast, especially our seven-year-old. The service was friendly and the food was great. I particularly appreciated the healthy food available on the kids' menu. We did get there right when they opened, so it wasn't too busy.
Great restaurant for kids. Lots to keep them entertained! Being a restaurant that caters to kids, you'd think service would be a little quicker, not rushed but more attentive to the fact that theres kids dining. Service was fine. Food was blah. No flavor on burger. Fries were cold. Pretty expensive but I guess your paying more for ambiance than food. It was just ok but my kids loved it which is what matters to me!
I took my daughter as she really enjoys the place for an evening dinner. The service was slow at times.
Plus the food is expensive and the worst thing of all is my daughters kids meal didn’t come with a dessert even though it appeared that way on the menu. For the price we paid it should be included either way I don’t have a desire to go back.
We arrived a little early and sat at the bar until the remainder of our party arrived. The bar staff was not very attentive. Once seated, our server was fantastic. We ended up being on a little time crunch and let him know and he got our food order in right away. We never waited for a drink or anything. He was truly exceptional! The downside (and I realize it's catered to families) is that some people let their children play (wrestle around) out in the open. It is still a restaurant and there are people trying to get by and serve food. It's not Chucky Cheese or the McDonald's playland. I have children and I understand it's a family place, but there are limits. That wasn't something I let my kids do.
Food is actually pretty good. My problem is even though we had a reservation through open table we stood in the one and only line there was for 1/2 an hour! Makes absolutely no sense to me and they had no real explanation. We went at lunch with our two young granddaughters and it was busy, crowded...never again.
Way over priced. But your closing so who cares
I had read some of the other reviews and I have to say I didn’t set the bar mind mentally for this place. Especially from what I remembered when I’d went ten years ago. But I have to say from start to finish at this location was awesome. They did a great job sitting us in a fun area and kept the kids amused. Great job.
What can you say about the Rainforest Cafe? It's a kid's resturant, overpriced food, but you can't beat the adventure!
Despite having a reservation with instructions that we were celebrating his six-year-old‘s birthday, they still Sat us in the bar, nowhere close to any of the animals the kids would’ve enjoyed seeing. I realize it was busy but service was incredibly slow. Food was mediocre and we had to wait forever for a stinking cupcake with a candle in it and then wait another half hour for our check. Too much money and disappointing
Waiter was decent but kept disappearing. Asked for a box and a check. Waited 1/2 hour, never appeared. Another waitress came by and told me he told her to keep an eye on me. I gave her my credit card and asked again for a box. Then another waitress came by to finalize my transaction. We won't be back.
Very expensive for what you get. I don’t think we will be going back
Our server was great! Food was great! Seating was tight. 10adults squeezed into what we considered too small of a space. We had a reservation and priority was given to those with reservations at the check in station. Our visit was for a birthday celebration and options of special services were given at check in.
The food was good, but was way over priced. I know you are paying for the experience as well but I still didn't see the total value. I'd like to see how the balloon animal team prioritized their tables, after visiting the table next to us, he told us it wasn't our turn yet and he would be back, but he never came back. Left our 3 year old fairly disappointed.
Nice, fun place - good menu but when we were there they wer every short staffed and our server had to do triple duty. He worked hard being server, helper and bartender. Menu could use more vegetarian options.
We went to celebrate my 6 year old’s birthday. The atmosphere is great, and the kids loved seeing all the animals. The wait staff was very friendly, and even brought my daughter a cupcake to celebrate her special day. But the food was average at best. I enjoyed my fish tacos but all other meals that we ordered were very forgettable. The kids pizza was on crust that was tasteless. For the cost, it wasn’t worth it . It will probably be quite a while before we go back again.
We were seated at a booth and waited 35 minutes before a server actually came to bring some water and ask us our order. The food was alright, nothing great. Overall not a great experience.
Service was awful, food was served cold, we were ignored. We will not be going back.
Great time as the summer is coming to an end.
Value of the food does not reflect the quality or the taste. Since this location is inside the mall you have other options of restaurants that might have better food than here and at lower prices. This is a place to go for the overall style and decorations but I was not impressed. The server was nice and the manager did come over to check up on us.
Based on atmosphere only. Food is only okay, and very expensive. Service is on the slower side.
I would definitely recommend this Rain Forest Cafe great service and great food. The manager Alex introduced himself to our table. My family is visiting from Mexico and were very pleased with service and amazed with the food.
The ambiance and fun of the place are amazing. It's quiet enough that you can have a conversation, but pretty lively. Kids like the animatronics and special effects. The food is good, but the price is about twice what it would cost at a comparable sit down restaurant without the attractional extras. If you are willing to pay for it - and you think of it as dinner and a show - it is worth going here for special occasions or for the entertainment of it.
Loved the food and ambience, except the service guy was rude to give back the tip offered to him saying we disrespected him, tip is a tip could be anything and should be acceptable else put it on the check
We have always liked going here with our Grandkids. This time the food was just OK. The price
of the food and drinks was on the high side. We probably wont go here again, as the food was
just OK and the Price on all the meals and drinks was way to high.
Nice place to eat and have a birthday party. The server was nice and kind to us.
They forgot about us having a bday , and food was just ok.
Alcoholic slush drink has no flavor. Prob will not return
Great place to go! Friendly staff, very good food. Lots of choice.
Service was good, food was ok not for the price u pay though for that price i would rather eat at Dell Frisco downtown and travel 30 more minutes out of my way to get there
The service was terrible, the food came out at all different times. The kids food came out before the adults drinks (just ice tea) overall experience was not good
Great fun for the kiddos to celebrate a birthday with great grandma. All of us enjoyed our food.
Great restaurant for those with children having food allergies. They take extra care to keep them safe
It had a lot of food to choose from , very kid friendly and is cheap!
We went for our granddaughters birthday. She had a great time. A great place for kids.
Terrible service. Waited over 20 minutes for beverages and over an hour for food. The restaurant was empty and waitstaff was gathered around socializing instead of working. 0/10 would not recommend.
Kitchen was very slow. Food was OK once we were served.
