The varied menu focuses on modern interpretations of classic dishes such as Traditional Steak Tartare, Caesar Salad and Roasted Bone Marrow, in addition to several cuts of beef from legendary New York butchers Milton Abeles and Strassburger Meats.
The restaurant's side dishes alone merit a trip with innovative house specialties, including Corn Crème Brulee, Gnocchi and Cheese and Edamame with Mint Salt. The Quality Meats chefs are Craig Koketsu (Lespinasse, Stars) as executive chef and Cory Colton (Lespinasse, St.Regis) on pastry. The restaurant has a warm industrial atmosphere, created by award-winning AvroKO and features intimate dining areas, a comfortable bar area with well-stocked charcuterie bar.

The food was terrific, but the service was a little slower than I would have liked.
Excellent service and great food and drinks!
It was a pleasant dining experience. I enjoyed the lobster—nicely seasoned. The corn brûlée was delicious! My husband had ribs which were delicious as well but likely not the house specialty. Service met our expectations. If in Miami, nice place to visit.
Outstanding experience as always, the food, service and vibe is outstanding.
Food was outstanding as usual but service was
A bit slow. Sauce for steak should he brought when or right before the steaks are served not 10 or 15 minutes later.
From the moment we entered to to our sweet goodnight and thank you everyone and everything was superb.
The amazing food and displays beverages paired perfectly and most importantly Josh took such wonderful care of us.
Our birthday dinner was so much more.
Thank you always.
Excellent service and food! Great atmosphere.
The food was fantastic and the staff went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional! It’s a must eat while your in NYC!
Wonderful food and excellent service. Thank you Matt, you are my favorite server ever!!
Unfortunately our server got my order wrong and made the error much worse by not to correct it or adjust the charge. I ordered ribeye, but a tomahawk ribeye was delivered to the table and charged. No clarification was requested when the order was taken and when I pointed out the error when the dish came, the excuse was that "everybody gets the tomahawk". Needless to say there was no attempt to adjust the bill - so I took the difference from my usual tip (which also did not make me happy)
The porterhouse was not up to the supreme standards. Everything else was good
It was Great.
I love the Birthday theme presentation
Pretty good, had the tomato salad, which was great, scallops were tasty but not a great value, $23 for 2 scallops. Porterhouse for 2 was amazing, overall was a good dining experience, we will come back.
Good great. Service was not so attentive. We were at a back table and felt like they forgot about us
Steak served a tepid room temperature to go with the general demeanor of the waitstaff. The decor was hip and cool but food and service was just tepid and meh.
My favorite steakhouse in NYC to date. Great ambience. Amazing steak. And the corn brulee as exceptional.
Quality meat it is (and food overall). Great shrimp cocktail (although shrimps a tad smaller than usual). Excellent ribeye cooked medium rare perfectly . Excellent flavor. Sautéed spinach a touch too much salt. Staff could be much friendlier , get an angry vibe from most as if would rather be anywhere else but doing their job.
Food quality is very good. Service is awesome. Tables are close together and intimate. Nice place. Excellent drinks.
Baron is a wonderful waiter
Overall, an average steak house experience. Plenty of standard up charge tricks (bringing bottled water, switching wine to a $30/glass midway through the meal). Meat was okay, chewy and somewhat difficult to get down (had the porterhouse for

Terrible service. “How many shrimp come in the salad” response don’t know...probably enough! LOL
Wonderful food service. The background music was a bit loud until he asked that it be lowered; this is important because conversation was part of the meal.
Magnificent! The food, the atmosphere, the service every detail of the experience was perfect. Highly recommend it to anyone!
Great Tommahawk steak. One of my goto places for great good and service with customers
Weekend getaway in NYC for myself and my husband. Quality Meats was recommended by a friend, good energy while we waited for our table, reservation was for 8:30, we were seated around 8:45, not bad for a busy Sat. Night. Good service, crab cake was tasty for app ,Porterhouse for 2 was tender and very tasty, waffle fries delish and Yorkshire creamed spinach as sides, the dessert was a wow- pecan pie ice cream sundae! Very enjoyable meal.
Thank you Marcy! We'll be sure to pass on the kind words to our team. We hope to see you again soon!
Some tables are spread out super well and are located in these nooks, other tables are stacked on top of each other. I wish we were sat at one of the cool tables rather than wedged in-between two incredibly loud couples. The portions were interesting with the Chef's Special Snake River weighing in at a most likely 8oz. for $100. It was very tasty but not worth the price in my opinion. The sides were great and the drinks were tasty. I don't feel the need to come back here but if anyone ever suggests it I wont protest. I know what to ask for now at least
I’ve been here two times- once in 2015 and once in 2020- and had two completely different experiences. Service was horrible on the last visit, especially for a NYC steakhouse and a birthday dinner. I would not return
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This definitely doesn’t sound like a good evening. On behalf of our team, I apologize for dropping the ball in this manner. This is not within our standards of service nor a good reflection of our brand. I would like to get in contact with you to learn more about your experience as well as how we can make it better. If you would, please reach out to me directly at joliver@qualitybranded. Joel K. Oliver Guest Relations Manager Quality Meats NYC
Takes a long time to be seated when you have a reservation at a set time.
But once you are in, the food is exceptional.
Exellent experience. Cannot wait to return!
Amazing! Can't wait to go back! Best steak in NYC.
Thank you for the kind words! We hope to see you again soon!
The food is OUTSTANDING!! but the service from the waiters is minimum
The "quality" was missing again so I am 1 for my last 3 visits to what used to be a great restaurant and mainstay in my list. No longer. Medium for a steak does not equate to medium well to well done. Too much salt on the usually outstanding Corn Creme Brûlée and the Pan Roasted Crispy Potatoes were cold. Service was good, but when you spend this kind of money, you kind of want to enjoy the food. Time to find somewhere new after all these years.
Amazing place. The best steakhouse in Manhattan for sure. My steak was incredible
Every time I go to NYC QM is worth a visit. The meat is fantastic.
That’s fantastic! We are grateful for your kind words and we can’t wait to share this with the rest of our team. Looking forward to your next visit.
Incredible! Executive Chef Bashy makes the best steaks and the bacon, peanut butter appetizer is to die for!
Great spot for meat and wine lovers with great ambience.
Had an early birthday dinner at Quality Meats, and it was everything I thought it’d be and more! The tomahawk ribeye was absolutely blowaway! Perfectly seasoned, beautifully prepared. Nothing short of excellent. OH! The corn crème brûlée. I’d eat that every day for the rest of my life!
Wow, thank you so much! We really appreciate your detailed feedback. Looking forward to seeing you back soon!
