QT Melbourne - Pascale Bar and Grill
The design of the space pays homage to the ‘Paris end’ of Collins Street, with its bold industrial chic & emphasis on fashion.
An open kitchen offers glimpses into the creation of dishes, and an exquisite French patisserie is encased within a gleaming glass display. The menu has been curated with direction from Creative Food Director Robert Marchetti and Executive Chef Paul Easson.
Lunch: 12:00pm - 2:30pm Mon-Fri
Dinner: 6:00pm - 10:30pm Mon-Sun
Great venue for a business breakfast. Tables are not on top of one another and the service timely and not intrusive.
enjoyed the wine list, food and service - well done.
Restaurant setting is amazing , Great attention to detail , service was excellent , menu was limited we thought .. but overall a lovely experience
Great place for a special occasion or small group. Good food and ambiance
Very good vibe. Food is not bad but not impressive. Great place for afterwork drinks.
Best service in Melbourne.
Compliments to the manager and chef. Brilliant service
Food extremely overpriced for quality. Pepper steak was light sauce with peppercorns on top. Completely misses the mark and price point is the same as high quality restaurants. Not worth it and didn't feel 'special'.
The food was devine , well prepared and the taste was perfect, all three of us enjoyed the experience and would go back again for lunch. Will certainly now go back for the dinner experience .The service was excellent I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Keep the standard up QT , 10 out of 10.
Overall we had a great time .. it took 15m for me to get my cocktail but after that service was impeccable and good suggestions on food and wine.
Great food, great range of wine and reasonably priced to for the quality of food.
Really enjoyed it
Food was amazing. Had four different waiters so service was mixed..
The service was terrible. We had to wait ages for our meal after the wrong meal was brought. The sides we ordered were forgotten and even when we reminded the waiter, they were not served. When we asked again, the waiter offered to bring them after one of us had finished his meal which was too late. At one stage whilst one of us was absent from the table, the waiter removed our wine which we had barely touched. He claimed he took our glasses to top them up but this could have been done at the table and was not adequately explained. The wine was returned.
The manager was very apologetic and refunded 25% of the cost of the meal. Although she had very good PR skills, it should have been 50% or the total cost, as I had travelled a long way to come in for dinner. My friend was from interstate and our choice to eat at QT was random and we were looking forward to dining there.
The steaks were VERY good and that's something coming from me as I usually cook my own, home dry aged product. There were four of us and we all had one - must be low on iron; everyone had a strongly positive comment on the meat an dhow it was cooked to perfection. The sides were inventive and very tasty, I almost rate this restaurant a five as I think for the quality of food, service, price and décor it is very close.
I will be back and may try the hotel next time, I had no idea what QT was until we went to Pascale.
I have stayed at QT in Sydney and was really excited when they opened in Melbourne. We had pre dinner drinks in the rooftop bar and then dinner at Pasquales - we loved it so much we can't wait to return.
This new venue is inappropriate for a business meal. It seems that too much may have been spend on the decor and fit out, and perhaps not enough on the quality of the food.
The dining options were ok - nothing to write home about, but satisfying. The fit out was amazing, but I would have preferred to be in a nightclub with these surrounds, and not a business meal.
Continuing the Sydney tradition. Marie and the team rock.
