Pt Leo Restaurant
Pt. Leo Restaurants culinary philosophy is to showcase local and Victorian produce wherever possible. The wine list also has a similar philosophy where it not only showcases Pt. Leo Estate wines, but varietals from the region and greater Victoria. It is one of the few wine lists in Victoria, that is purely Victorian wines. The restaurant welcomes bookings of all sizes including generous dining options for groups of 10 or more.
The predominately local front of house staff delivers exceptional service with genuine warmth and hospitality, offering a true Mornington Peninsula experience. The staff are led and complimented by our exceptional Restaurant Manager, Ainslie Lubbock and Sommelier, Andrew Murch.
Had a family lunch at the winery including one child, the service and food was outstanding and the outdoor area proved to be a winner for keeping kids entertained whilst we were eating our meals.
Amazing food and such beautiful staff and service. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves over dinner. Many thanks to the team for making it such a memorable experience!
Breathtaking view - spectacular food - stunning venue!
Food and service of our waiter was amazing. Wish we ordered more Entrees as the main meals (Seafood) weren't as good. The snapper was a little over and the john dory sauce was quite overpowering. Even though we had a voucher to use we still spent $150 on-top of that voucher so it's quite pricey. Enjoyable overall.
A wonderful experience, the staff were fantastic, very attentive and friendly. The only suggestion I would make is for the menu to provide an overview of what selections can be converted into vegetarian/vegan options.
I'd recommend Pt leo not for the food but for the space and the ambience.
I don't think the food in general was good other than the steak and the menu is quite brief.
but overall it was a good place to get together with friends and families take photos and having the photos taken and etc.
I'd love to come back if and when the menu and the food is improved.
We had to hunt down staff for water etc. My son wanted dessert but no one came back to take his order so he gave up. The coffee order was taken incorrectly and so we had to wait for the order to be redone which made coffee very slow. It was uncomfortably cold in the dining room with cold air hitting us directly.
I love the food at Pt. Leo. Consistently great flavor and good options.
2 turn offs
1. Surcharge to use credit card 1.5%. Why? Just charge another $1 for a desert.
2. Spend over $300 on lunch doesn’t get you a stroll in the sculpture garden. Mean!
Excellent restaurant. One of the best anywhere in the World. Staff are clearly proud of working there.
It’s nice having local produce on the menu, as well as local beers and wines.
It’s pretty rare these days to be impressed when you go somewhere new. This is one of those rare places that take your breath away.
A wonderful experience with my overseas Corporate visitors highly impressed indeed.
Excellent table staff, who provided a courteous non intrusive but constant readiness to assist when needed.
Great food and views. Great for special occasion such as our 31st wedding anniversary.
We were blown away from the moment we drove in.
Then we entered the Restaurant, Amazing Views.
Friendly staff with great service.
The food, we gave this experience a 10 out of 10.
We will return.
Just so lovely. Our entire experience
Beautiful food in gorgeous setting. Ainsley was our main waiter and her service was excellent. The striploin and lamb dishes were delicious. The menu does not really accommodate children but fortunately our two were happy with the steak. Best ever hot chocolates apparently, although no marshmallows 😉 Will definitely return
Fabulous food and friendly efficient service Dinner overlooking the illuminated Sculpture Park was breathtakingly beautiful
Food was great. The service was very attentive too. Read the table well for when drinks were required. The room had a great vibe to it and views just before sunset over the bay was good too. Only query was it was on the pricey side for a meal but the food was outstanding.
Have written a piece for Trip Advisor. We loved the concept. Experience was great, the view delightful. The Rockling main course was superb. Chocolate Mousse great. Rhubarb meringue did not measure up at all. A little on the expensive side but as a special occasion worth the trip.
Everything was impeccable. Food was second to none and staff extremely attentive.
A very elegant restaurant with great food and service as well as a fascinating sculpture park.
We have dined here a number of times on special occasions and have been very happy with our choice every time so much so that we are looking forward to the next time. Food, service and ambiance are all of high standards. Added bonus is the spectacular view of Western Port Bay across the vin-yard and a garden which is home to some very notable sculptures.
Excellent service friendly staff beautiful venue. A little pricey but for a special occasion worth every cent.
Seevice absolutely on Point!
Finally a establishment that has considered acoustics! making the experience enjoyable!
Brilliant. It was our third visit and we brought friends from America who used to live in Melbourne and they too were very impressed.
Fantastic food and absolutely phenomenal service. Picturesque location, will definitely be back.
This was a perfect experience. The staff were efficient, knowledgeable, courteous and welcoming. The roast apple bread was delicious, the tempura rockling superb and the warm beetroot salad incredible. My friend, similarly, was eloquent in her praise of her choices.
The grounds were impeccable maintained - even to the raking of the gravel - and this added to the breathtaking beauty of the view towards Phillip Island. Floor to ceiling windows enhanced the view.
The ambience was welcoming, calm and convivial and the native flora in the simple vase on the table added to the elegance.
After our wonderful meal, we walked the paths through the sculpture park, admiring the thought-provoking pieces and also gazing out over the water. What a venue!
I eagerly await a return to this beautiful destination.
We have been here before but this was the best ! Having 4 people was great as we could sample more dishes , as we usually only manage one main .
We even managed to share 2 deserts .... the soft merengue outstanding with that delicious Montenegro sauce!
The staff were welcoming, efficient and helpful. All the food from the shared tasting plates to the mains and desserts were excellent. Dietary and allergy issues and preferences were attended to without fuss. Service during the meal was attentive without being intrusive.
The only criticism, though a small one was the request to pay to go and see the sculptures. When we brought this up following the meal we were offered "free" tickets. We had arrived half an hour early for our booking and would have possibly gone for a stroll but chose to sit in the bar instead and wait.
Lovely food and lovely setting. Wonderful staff very attentive
A very good dining experience somewhat on the expensive side. Recommend arriving 45 minutes early to enjoy a wine tasting and take in the live music in the adjacent court yard.
Fantastic and thoughtful staff, very passionate and take pride in what they do.
Always a wonderful dining experience every time, and delicious food done to perfection.
Best restaurant on the peninsula by a long way. Amazing food, wonderful service and superb setting.
Pt Leo has become my new favourite place to go. Interesting adventurous food that represents local produce. Fine dining with a relaxed friendly vibe. Staff were welcoming and friendly but attentive, portions were perfect and the combination of tastes and textures gave us plenty to talk about and compare.
Fabulous food with excellent service. Also great value for money and a stunning venue. Could not fault a thing. Booked again for Easter.
This is our 2nd time to Point Leo Estate restaurant and it was superb as before - food was outstanding and ambience fantastic, especially with such a wonderful view. Thank you, we will see you again!
This is my fourth visit to Pt Leo Estate, needles to say it is favourite.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal . And the wine. Also the walk through the sculpture park was fascinating. Will be back when i visit the area again.
This is my 2nd time visiting Pt Leo. Still Love this place! This time around, it was very noisey and find it very hard to hear my partner from across the table. For some reason, this time the service is very slow. Took a long time to get the food menu after we ordered our drinks and took a long time to have anyone come up take our order. It maybe just a busy day for them as the service was great for my 1st visit. Overall, I would recommend everyone to visit Pt Leo. You can walk off your food baby at the Sculpture Park outside once you are done at the restaurant.
Food was fabulous and the views are stunning. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable.
Disappointed didn’t get window table as requested in booking. Although 2 window tables were free the entire time we had lunch.
Guess we are just not beautiful or we heeled enough to merit window table!!!!
