The 110-seat Pt. Leo Restaurant celebrates the region’s produce with a menu designed to enjoy both formally and informally.

Pt. Leo Restaurants culinary philosophy is to showcase local and Victorian produce wherever possible. The wine list also has a similar philosophy where it not only showcases Pt. Leo Estate wines, but varietals from the region and greater Victoria. It is one of the few wine lists in Victoria, that is purely Victorian wines. The restaurant welcomes bookings of all sizes including generous dining options for groups of 10 or more.

The predominately local front of house staff delivers exceptional service with genuine warmth and hospitality, offering a true Mornington Peninsula experience. The staff are led and complimented by our exceptional Restaurant Manager, Ainslie Lubbock and Sommelier, Andrew Murch.

My mother and I lunched at Pr Leo Estate mid week and we had a superb experience and will be back again with more family in late March. Congratulations- the flavours and combinations coupled with the Pt Leo Estate wine were simply delicious beautiful complemented by the excellent knowledgeable wine and food service and menu recommendations.
Looking forward to our next experience at PLE in March. Thank you.

A popular restaurant in a sensational setting, serving food of above average quality with enough staff to ensure that service is maintained at a good level. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is very bistro like, so you need to glance out over the magnificent view over Westernport Bay to Seal Rocks to remind yourself that the very steep wine & menu prices are justified. A good choice for that special occasion.

Only two negatives for the night. The first is the afternoon/evening Sun can shine directly into the eyes of seated patrons; and the second is that the selected wine purchase is not subsequently kept at your table.

We had a lovely birthday celebration lunch at Point Leo. Food and service were excellent. The only couple of negatives were the fact despite eating in the restaurant you now have to pay for the sculpture park entrance. Whilst it may only be $10 pp if they can charge $19 for a glass of wine I think they could include the entrance fee. Also the complication in trying to buy a bottle of wine to take into the restaurant whilst waiting for your table to be ready was disappointing.
Overall I would certainly go again but just feel it lost some of its magic with those couple of points.

Very nice restaurant, food was very good I think we just made a bad choice with the roast pork as the sauce was very strong and overpowering we did not like that at all however, would come back again and try something else, the staff were great but overall a bit to expensive.

This was my third time and food and service was exceptional. Wine list is very extensive but a few more options by the glass would be good.
My only criticism is the 1.5% credit card surcharge they apply. Under current legislation you are allowed to charge the average to recover your costs but I would expect 1.5% is above what Pt Leo Estate would be able to negotiate with their merchant provider. It might be the premium cards but considering what you are paying for the food and wine I find the surcharge a little much.

We arrived early and understandably our table was not ready. We spent some pleasant time having a glass of wine in the bar overlooking the gardens.

Our table was ready on time and we enjoyed a delightful meal of quality and professionally prepared food.

Service was great and staff were friendly and welcoming.

Our second visit there and we will be back again.

Our lunch for 2 was lovely. We are very spoilt in Victoria with amazing food, dining experiences and venues. Pt Leo offered wonderful views, a very relaxed atmosphere, the noise level supported the ability to have a conversation without yelling - wonderful attribute.
The wine we chose was excellent and the meal we had was very good. There was nothing to fault it was just not exceptional. I was not expecting exceptional.
The waitress service was very good. Just a little slow with the bill at the end.

Great day: definitely worth a return visit.

The restaurant was nice
Bit expensive but food was nice, creative
Mains were bit late but all ok

Think if one’s dines there, should be free entry to sculpture park, apparently they’re planning to change it so when one dines there, they have to pay surcharge to visit sculpture park,

Having won the Herald Sun restaurant of the year our expectations were high. The scallop course was disappointing but other entrees were great. The steaks were well cooked and presented but not outstanding. Having said all that we will definitely go again.

Interesting menu options with our waiter who had good food knowledge. Happy friendly staff made for a relaxed rather than stuffy feel. Unfortunately let down by the lady behind the wine tasting bar who was clearly distracted by something other than her customers. Fortunately the restaurant has a comprehensive wine list which makes up for the wines on tasting.
