Café
Setting a new benchmark in specialty coffee and cafe dining, Pourboy is owned and run by Sebastian Butler-White who brings an expertise developed by years of experience in Australia’s most highly regarded espresso bars and restaurants. Using some of the world’s most exciting coffees and state of the art machinery, alongside alternative brewing methods, even the most discerning of coffee aficionados is catered for.

With the coffee leaving people asking for more, the food will surely do the same. This is part of the whole Pourboy ethos, delivering both coffee and food without compromise.
The menu has been developed with an emphasis on high quality, seasonal ingredients. The food exhibits some of the French technique more commonly recognised in the country’s top restaurants, with a casual twist.

Such a gem amongst South Bank. The food was lovely and the service was great. We loved that some of the money from one of our meals was donated to the Children’s Hospital-such kindness when the hospitality sector is struggling at the moment.

I visited on Christmas Day which I realise is probably not representative of the typicaly experience. The staff were really rushed off their feet and struggling to keep up with the number of customers, so there were long waits for coffee etc...

Coffee was great - had the cold brew. The trout was way too saucy and oily for my liking . The skin was not crispy at all and was soggy . Overall the dish described on menu was nice but the execution of it was disappointing .

Service was amazing! We had littles with us and our server was super attentive. The food was wonderful as well! I loved the Cajun Chicken Burger! Even the chef came out to check on us! Great experience over all!

Nice new bistro-type venue. Good menu with some different choices. Would like to see more vegetarian or seafood options. Father's Day occasion. Unfortunately they got one of the orders wrong so rest of the group ate while one waited for their meal to be cooked from scratch. Considering special occasion would have been better to eat together. No rebate on the bill for this or offer of complimentary coffee or drink/dessert which would have been appropriate. Expected better atmosphere based on website. Was ok but would only go here for coffee not a dining experience again.

With views overlooking Grey Street and handy to rail & bus at Southpoint - adjacent to Southbank Train station, pourboy has very good table service and an menu based around sandwiches and wraps. The coffee is exceptional and great care is obvious in its preparation. We ordered long blacks and flat whites. All coffees were rich and smooth, medium bodied with a pleasant perfumed aroma. Our meals were also excellent with the linguini with slow cooked brisket a standout. Burgers were well priced from standard to extras added. Mixed berry muffin retained a crunchy exterior with moist interior to please all. Also open for happy hour 5-7pm on some nights (Friday certainly) as the venue is licensed with a good range of local and imported drinks.
