I had read of this restaurant and decided to try it out for breakfast after trying petition on a previous day. I found the service to be too slow and unresponsive . The meal room too long and was ok. The juice was delicious and came first . The buffet lacked any hot foods so went for the scrambled eggs off the a la carte menu instead. Serving was very small .

Great food and wine + service to match. My partner is coeliac, so gluten free was a requirement and happy to say her needs were very well catered for.
Definitely a restaurant to revisit

The food was excellent - the best we have had so far in Australia. The service could not have been better, and the ambience of the restaurant is lovely - beautiful old building beautifully restored in modern style. Definitely recommend.

We appreciated the complimentary warm fresh bread and butter to start and the warm friendly service. Didn't feel pretentious. Delicious food although main courses small if you don't order sides. Would love to return.

Food was sublime. Only issue was the service could have been more attentive as the steaks got mixed and my friends steak got swapped with mine - meant that we didnt enjoy our steak as much as we should have.

The food was awesome, ate the Steak Tartare for entree and Fish for mains. They were both extraordinary. The cheese platter for dessert was boringly presented.
Service was poor initially by one young lady who mixed up our meals and spilt our drinks but the other staff were on Pat with a fine dining restaurant.
There needs to be more artwork on the walls because the place looks dull and lacks ambiance

On my first visit to Post I was impressed by the surroundings. The food was beautifully presented and the lamb I had was a good serving. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The wine matched our dinners of lamb and beef. We have eaten in many lovely restaurants including London, Italy and Abu Dhabi. This restaurant ranks right up there with them.

It was my first dining experience & I was very surprised at how wonderful the food was! So healthy, light & super tasty!! I had the "big salad" for entree & it was one of the best salads I have ever eaten. Followed by the chicken - OMG WOW! Wasn't sure what the grey dollops were but they were delicious & connected/complimented everything on the plate.Finished my meal with the amazingly awesome chocolate caramel tart with espresso mouse. Seriously one of the best meals I have had in a long time!

Service and food were exceptional. Especially the desserts and entrees. It was a shame that the restaurant was quite empty - music was a bit ordinary.

Poor table lay out so you can smell someone's steak that is being served on a nearby table while eating dessert, spoilt the whole experience. Tables are too close so you can hear other peoples conservations.

I took my best friend for a belated birthday lunch. We both had the lamb and it could not be faulted. The Brussel sprouts were to die for. We couldn't decide which dessert to have so we shared the lemon cheese cake and the date pudding. Both were amazing. My friend is a serious foodie and is hard to impress. Post succeeded in doing this and some. Our waitperson was fabulous. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely. Eating there was special to me too. I worked in the building in the 70's.

What truly stood out at Post Restaurant was the service; the waitress who attended to us was so friendly, cheerful, polite and informative, making good recommendations.
The food was good, but what seems more memorable was the service and the ambience (luckily a very loud American couple next to us, departed not long after we arrived!)
A good experience but the food may need a little more attention.

Pleasant Sunday lunch - the duck was moist and pleasant, perhaps less of the fat for our taste, but easily left aside. The kingfish was also very tasty. It is unfortunate that vegetables/greens are an extra when there is so little with the main.
Strawberry cheesecake was very good, slightly sweet to our taste. Apple tart OK, lacked a tart case. Chocolate cake was very good.
Wine list catered for glass, quite reasonable selection.
Service was excellent, attentive and friendly.

Post was recommended by a friend as the finest food in Perth and it did not disappoint us. Special mention to the brussel sprouts...divine!

Dined at Post twice, 1st was Friday lunch (group of 5) and 2nd was Friday dinner for 2. Both times we received exceptional service provided by staff, very attentive and professional. Quality food with wow factor, dont be fooled by its appearance, it's definitely food for the soul!
Highly recommended for special occasion like birthdays and anniversary.

The food was fabulous as was the wine however the service on the day wasn't great. It was the waiters first day however there were too many mix ups with the dishes, cutlery , chips etc . She was apologetic but for the $ of the food etc I would expect excellent service.

Only had one negative comment being the toilets were far away and had to queue due to the bar patrons, ended up going down to Long Chim for the bathroom. This meant my food went cold. The restaurant definitely needs its own bathroom.
Apart from that service was excellent, food was tasty and presented impeccably. Nice lighting and very cosy for dinner.

Went to Post for dinner. Staff accommodated our request for seating an extra person above our original booking.
The large salad and the caramelised Brussels sprouts were quite special (we shared these), but the chickpea curry was expensive for a very small serve.
The wait staff were either overly attentive or nowhere to be seen - was a little unusual.
Our wine bottle was kept away from our table which meant when we asked for a refill, they accidentally poured us wine from someone else.

Visited Post for our wedding anniversary. Whilst not cheap the food was excellent and we both really enjoyed what we ordered.
Experience was spoiled for us by the over familiar and almost patronising service we received from our waitress. Would probably not rush back.

The dining experience was fantastic. Fine food, efficient but unobtrusive service and a beautiful setting.
But please do some something about the toilets. Sharing one toilet with the beer hall and another restaurant brings the tone down

The entree were lovely, well balanced and interesting. The main courses were atrociously bad and arrived way too quickly. Steak was cold and Cleary hadn't been brought to room temperature. The lamb shoulder was grisly with fat, lukewarm and the flavours just didn't work. We explained politely that it wasn't nice as neither muppets friend or I ate very much at all. Nothing was done, a half baked sorry and an offer of coffee after we requested the bill.
We have eaten here before. Damm shame.

Pre theatre meal menu was enjoyable. Two choices for $55 was reasonable and well cooked. Service was fairly prompt. Would go again and try full menu.

An amazing place to have dinner for a special occasion or a date, very relaxed setting with good tunes playing over the speakers. My girlfriend skipped the entrees and went to the mains straight ahead with her having the Rangers Valley beef and I having the dorper lamb. We absolutely loved our mains and they were some of the best meals that we have ever had in our lives! Service was excellent and our waitress was very friendly and accomodating, shame that we did not ask for her name. Would definitely come back soon to try and enjoy more wonderful dishes, thank you Post for making our night a memorable one!

The Post has a lovely ambiance. The wait staff are exceptional and make you feel very special. I eat a vegan diet so I was happy that there was something on the menu for me to have. The waiter also said that if I did not want what was on the menu to let them know and they would make something up for me. Very considerate.

Lovely food, well presented. Great service. Just wished they had a few more wines by the glass but other than extremely happy!

The two main servers here were not as welcoming. I guess it is not the best place to bring little kids. They do have a kids menu, but the servers didn't look very happy. The food was very fresh and tastes good, but not exceptional. We had the twice cooked pork with shrimp on top and the beef tartare for the Entree. For the main we had the barramundi fish and the steak. The dessert was the best, coconut sago. My daughter likes the spaghetti.

I had actually tried to book Wildflower fine dining at The Treasury, but unable to get in, so booked Post. Four of us there to celebrate an anniversary and a birthday. This was acknowledged as we arrived and we were given a complimentary drink. We had three courses and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. Oysters were so fresh. Main of six hour lamb shoulder was delicious. Dessert of creme brûlée also delicious. Plate with inscription and complimentary chocolates followed.

We went as a group for regular Saturday monthly breakfast. A lovely place, and we were greeted in a very friendly way, and enjoyed good service. They seated 6 of us at 2 tables pushed together but these were quite big and we seemed a long way away from each other. The breakfast menu was not extensive and the portions on the small size, but food was really enjoyable, perhaps we should have ordered more courses, but that would take the breakfast cost up to about $50 pp, quite expensive, really.

I wanted to treat my 2 daughters, both mothers of young children, to a special night out. Post couldn't have been a better choice. Beautiful, delicious food; warm friendly service and the right quiet atmosphere for us to chat and enjoy each others company. We all really enjoyed our Post experience and will be back.
