After wanting to dine at Popolo for awhile, they most definitely did not disappoint. Food was delicious, well presented and served in a timely manner. Thank you, will definitely return !
Popolo management and staff provide excellent service. The menu has variety in every regard and is of a very high standard. Authentic Italian right down to the coffee! The aesthetics and ambience create a relaxed but classy dining experience.
Very good fish of day (grilled salmon) italian style
We dined for our daughters 21st birthday the waitress Katia and maître Sara were both wonderful in their service and really spoiled us and our daughter. The food was incredible we shared entrees and mains and had a surprise dessert for the birthday girl. It’s without a doubt the best Italian cuisine we have ever had. And look forward to having the same experience again. Thanks Popolo for making a memorable birthday for our daughter IMMI
Amazing food with the most beautiful, kind, caring and informative waitressing staff. 10/10
Had a lovely casual Sunday lunch
Food was amazing
Will definitely be back
Our lunch was, as per usual, lovely. The views, the ambiance, friendly attentive staff who went above and beyond service, scenery, presentation of food - overall our lunch was excellent. Many thanks.
Love this restaurant, the food , service and ambience is wonderful, it never disappoints
Enjoyed our meal and the front row seat especially. Generous portions for the mains. Note mains aren’t served together. We didn’t realise you are meant to share your meals. Bit was very tasty. We had the risotto and the seafood linguine. Delicious. I recommend and will go again
Top spot for a celebration but delightful for any occasion. Menu a little difficult to understand but very helpful wait-staff cheerfully guided us. Larissa who was looking after our table of six was attentive to our needs & just wonderful. Food delicious. Thanks to the popolo team for creating a very happy atmosphere.
Some of the best Italian I’ve had in Brisbane. The staff were extremely helpful and lovely. The pumpkin ravioli was amazing!! And the Tiramisu was to die for!
lovely picnic, would happily do again. Service was lovely and picnic was enjoyed by all
Starter of zucchini flowers were undercooked and the main course of pasta was over cooked and dry. Delicious wine.
Pleasant waitstaff and the food was delicious. For a busy weekend we didn’t feel rushed to finish for the next seating. The tables at the front overlooking the grassy hill are perfect!
From the moment we arrived and were greeted by John (I think) we knew it was going to be great. He was friendly and thanked me for calling to say we were running a little bit late. It was another hot day in Brisbane but the breeze coming off the river made dining here very comfortable and the outlook is lovely. There were 3 of us and we wanted to share plates which Popolo was made for, every dish was delicious, the waitress although busy was very attentive and took the time to explain dishes and the wine list. We ordered 3 small plates and followed that with a pizza and salad and that was perfect for our lunch. We loved how authentic the restaurant is, we will come back
The staff were very accommodating with our two kids. The food came out in a timely manner and it tasted great!
We enjoyed a beer and Antipasto platter on Australia Day. Food was great and service was awesome, we had a very friendly Italian waitress who was knowledgeable about the beer choices. Lovely venue with view of the river.
Venue was booked for my wife's 60th birthday party by the immediate family and partners. The venue was open, very casual but with an attractive modern vibe. We were greeted immediately on arrival and directed to our table which was in a prime position for viewing the river and scenery, without being subjected to too much noise from the passing pedestrian traffic, or heat from a very sunny day. The staff were friendly, interested and attentive. We availed ourselves of a number of the share-meal combinations as well as wines, and cocktails, and the food was delicious and innovative in choices and presentation.
We will rebook in the future as the entire combination of food, presentation and service was a pleasure to experience. Thank you Popolo!
The view is fantastic, paired with delicious food and highly accommodating staff. A great dining experience.
Had a delicious meal at Popolo whilst overlooking the water. Service was extremely quick which meant we had plenty of time to get to our show at QPAC. Would highly recommend.
I love it here. The food is always amazing and plentiful.
Staff are brilliant, it’s just a great place to eat.
Thank you so much for being so good.
Exceptional staff who were friendly and entertaining, great food, with views of the river. We ordered the Mangia Mangia (6 course feast) and couldn't finish it all. Could easily go back and definitely recommend Popolo's.
We tried so much of the menu and it was fantastic... going back to try it all!!!
Everything about this place is unreal wish I could give 10 stars
Excellent table service. Enthusiastic staff who are extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Kitchen Staff more than willing to change feast options to suit vegetarians. Excellent wine list.
It was our second visit - thoroughly enjoyed the meals. Good to be able to share and taste different food. Service was very good and staff very friendly.
Was a little expensive but the food was good. Good location and catered well for children
Larissa, our Waitress, was super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, the cointreau sangria super fun and atmosphere relaxed. Great for a birthday dinner.
Food was fabulous, service was a little forgetful.
Amazing traditional Italian food. Must have dinner/lunch here. Highly recommended. Best beef ragu. Service was outstanding.
Food was excellent, views sensational but the staff are the essence of this fabulous restaurant. Their happy disposition and ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude is Outstanding. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.
This place gives off the best vibes, great scenic river views as well as vibrant atmosphere surrounded by deliciously cooked Italian meals with all intentions to please.
Loved our experience at Popolo. We took the whole family for our 25th wedding anniversary and everyone loved it. The service was so friendly, the food was amazing and it came out so quickly. Thank you for making it such a special night
Drinks were served warm and whilst the food was quick to the table it certainly did not 'wow' either of us into coming back.
Popolo always delivers on authentic Italian cuisine and great ambiance. The service is excellent and I highly recommend it for special dates and groups.
Great location, delicious food and very friendly staff. Everybody that I have referred it to, loved it.
Took the wife and Mother-in-law for dinner Christmas Eve. Service was outstanding. Our server was so attentive and everything that was recommended was exactly as described.
