Tried the beetroot carpacco, which was very suprising but also very tasty!
I had the Rustica pizza and it was very nice too.
Very good value for money!
They couldn't find the open table reservation in their system. The quality of the dough has gone down. I used to compare it with Rudy's, but not anymore.
This was a real find! Had lunch here on Xmas eve and the food was delicious! We ate from the pizza and small plates menu and everything was spot on! Great service too. Def worth a visit!
Food was decent
Music was loud
Service very good
Great pizzas and perfect atmosphere for catchup with friends. I would definitely go back again
Good atmosphere, food was really nice and came out quick as well, service really good, would definitely go again.
it is a must do experience! The team are great, friendly and nothing is too difficult for them to help with.
top marks guys, see you again soon!
Always excellent. Lovely food and wine and the right amount of noisy music.
Best vegan pizza ever! Staff were lovely and ambience was great. Music was sometimes a bit too loud but other than that is was perfect.
The band was extremely loud and a very odd choice. Conversation was virtually impossible. Shame as everything was very good.
Delicious pizza’s excellent food, wonderful service. Thank you
Lovely pizza and nice beer, just the service was a little slow when it wasn’t that busy.
Liked the pizza base but no vegetarian cheese only vegan cheese which was awful- can you get vegetarian cheese?
Didn’t really like the bread with dip
Enjoyable meal with good service and a decent selection of drinks available, bonus was have live music on at the time of the meal.
Amazing food and good craft beer. Real causal type atmosphere could imagine it being a really good place to just drink when it’s busy. They allow dogs which makes it even better, bringing a bowl of water over for her.
Went there for pizza . This is the kind of pizza I like, nice crispy crust and fresh ingredients. (Not that soggy stuff you get at Rudy’s and noi Quattro.)
Gabriel was very informative and during service was looking if all was fine . And it was .
Left happy and well fed. Thank you. A
Loud and ‘cool’. There was a band finishing up playing as we started our 9pm dinner res.
We were late (sorry) due to taxi taking us wrong place but we were welcomed nicely. Loved the live band, great ambiance, service too was great. Enjoyed food. Have pizza oven envy! (I should explain hubby has one in the garden so it’s a real quest to find great pizza!) Definitely recommend.
I went with a friend who is vegetarian and struggled to find anything on the menu as all you cheese was either none vegetarian or straight to vegan cheese that she did not like and does not melt well on pizza. It would be good if you found a happy medium.
Always amazing food - pizza is the best in Manchester!! Lovely service as well!
Fantastic, great food as always, service fantastic and they made any cocktail we asked for if they had the right ingredients. Also had a band on which were entertaining and not too loud.
Good pizza only issue was the center of both pizzas were soggy which meant having to eat with a knife and fork.
The food is amazing. A very limited menu based around pizza but they are the best pizzas you will have. Great drinks menu and great atmosphere. The food was a little slow on the most recent visit, but our wonderful waiter took a couple of drinks off the bill, unprompted. Love this place.
Nice ambience, cool vibe, and nice staff. They had a live band playing which kept it interesting. A little too loud for talking (but that's just like any other city centre restaurant really), but we managed to find a table by the windows which was fine.
Love it here. We live in Shropshire but I am from Manchester so when we were visiting for the weekend decided to bring my partner who is from London, to Ply. He has quite the discerning palate when it comes to eating out, in particular with pizza!!! His opinion was that Ply was wonderful. From the food to the decor and artwork, we are hooked! He even thinks that it gives the London chain Franco Manca a run for its money!!! High praise indeed. Well done....keep it going x
Nice enough place, good drinks selection and OK pizza. Pizza let down by a substandard tomato sauce - no depth of flavour.
Was recommended to me by a friend and it didn't disappoint! Fantastic friendly service, although a little pricey it was worth it. Will be back!
Great pizza, service a bit slap dash and the noise levels are unbelievable! Live singer that had no mic control, so wailed at full pelt and a dj who played the loudest music. A rowdy after work crowd who were drunk by 6pm but also had to shout at each other over the noise. This is no place to catch up with friends!
Music is too loud
Amazing pizzas particularly the Vulcano. We all had a great time.
Absolutely loved my pizza, each member of staff who served us was excellent, down to earth and just cool!
Would go again and would recommend Ply to anyone.
Plenty of big tables and booths, great selection of drinks and the menu was varied in terms of ingredients and flavours which gave it that extra quality - as a veggie I didn't feel too limited. Keep it up.
Service was great and the atmosphere was really nice. Couldn't hear and wasn't bothered by the happy hour crowds from our table. However, one of the pizzas went cold really fast!
This is somewhere we frequent when we visit Manchester and somewhere we love coming to. The food was as always lovely. The original server who took our order was helpful and polite and we discussed vegetarian options. On arrival of our food he’d unfortunately got the order wrong however this was swiftly acted on and despite waiting 10mins for the pizza to return we had started our meals. The end of the meal however was nothing sort of rude!! The young waitress came to get our payment and one of the party asked that the tip we wanted to give went to the original server and not herself! To then have this young lady snatch the payment card and be abrupt was quite astonishing. I proceeded to tell her this after we’d got our coats to leave to which I was replied a ‘bye then. Never in all my times of dining out have I been spoken to so rudely!! A course on customer service wouldn’t go a miss with this arrogant and rude young lady After parting with £80, that will be the last of our hard earned money going to Ply. Shane because we love it but as a customer that level of service is unacceptable.
Superb place with lovely staff and ambience, most likely in double figures with the amount of times I’ve visited now and it’s not dropped it’s standard once. Superb
Good food, beer slightly expensive...................
The food was great, the service was poor. We were waiting by the sign when we arrived (having pre booked) for 5 minutes and weren't acknowledged by anyone, I then went to the bar to be told to wait by the sign. Finally got seated and the first person was great at keeping on top of drinks orders. Then when it came to the food order, the staff didn't know how to use the ipad. It finally got ordered (even though we had an extra pizza added to our bill!). Food was great and arrived in good time. We were then waiting around an hour with no drinks, when we wanted to get the bill. We finally received this and after 10 minutes I had to go up to someone and explain it was wrong, we then waited another 10 minutes to get a new one and finally paid. It's a shame as the food really is great, but this put me right off.
The food was delicious however the service was appalling. The time it took to even get our order in of a drink was far too long. Once we eventually got an order in and some food arrive the plates took so long to be cleared following our starters that we had to stack up the plates and move them to the end of the table. In addition to this when trying to order a second bottle of wine it took over 15minutes before we were able to ask our hostess despite making many attempts to catch her attention. The service ruined a potentially very good and enjoyable meal.
Food was amazing and quick service.
We will definitiv be back.
Great restaurant. I love to visit when I'm in Manchester!
First time in Ply and was very very happy with the amazing food
Will definitely be back very soon
