We change our menu twice a week. Yes, that’s right! Two times a week.
Our ‘From Wednesday to Friday’ menu is filled with Polish classics with a modern twist. A comfortable meal, perfect for lunch and spontaneous dinners with friends. This is the time when you will be able to taste delicious dumplings. However, as we like to surprise our guests, be sure that you will also find dishes that are not so obvious to Polish cuisine.
It’s Weekend! Let’s celebrate! Platzki Fine Dining Experience is a real feast on your plate. Our specially selected dishes will be an unforgettable addition to any romantic dinner or a family gathering. On weekends our imagination about traditional Polish cuisine and extraordinary additions reaches the zenith! We guarantee that you won’t leave disappointed.
If you’re interested and would like to find out more how these two menus are different, take a look at our facebook and check out what we've served in the previous weeks!
Really welcoming place. Delicious food, our first time eating polish food. Won't be the last. Lovely waitress.
This was our first visit to Platzki and our first Polish restaurant. Food is delicious, the service was excellent and we felt very welcomed and relaxed. Highly recommended, it deserves the high star ratings.
The food was just amazing. A lot of things we'd not tried before, but every dish was full of flavour. The beetroot carpaccio with smoked cottage cheese was a thing of beauty!
Delicious food, very friendly staff, cozy interior with a unique home-like atmosphere.
With pleasure and with pride I recommend this place to all my friends.
We had a lovely Sunday lunch. It was unfortunate that it wasn't busy otherwise the ambience would have been great. It was a grey, wet afternoon and the restaurant was a bit chilly. Overall though, we really enjoyed our experience...the food brought back happy memories of my childhood!
Simply excellent - 5th meal here this year and just consistently stunning
Reminded me of one of the folksy places I have eaten at in Krakow. Great traditional Polish food in well presented, generous prortions. Loved the pierogi. Really friendly service.
My husband and I had dinner at Platzki this past weekend to celebrate my birthday and it was amazing!! Love the cute and cozy decor, the open kitchen and intimate feel. We started with a beet and goat cheese dish, as well as the oxblood perogis, both which were delicious and flavorful. Highly recommend the mushroom risotto and cheesecake! My husband had the three veal dish and immensely enjoyed his as well. Don’t forget to try the vodka too as they are great quality and go down smoothly. Overall great experience and will definitely be back!
Could only get a table for 9:15PM on Friday. Upon arrival, there is ony one table in use!! I went with the intention of trying the flavoured vodka and eating the ox cheeks. Only to find that the ox cheeks have run out and the alcohol licence finishes at 9PM. !!
That little gem should have been front and centre on the website, in my view.
Service was decent and food was very good, though without the ox cheeks I was left with very little choice.
Would have preferred they waited until we left before mopping the floors with strong smelling pine cleaner!!
Some work to do to get this place rockin it saddens me to say. Mushroom and Barley risotto was great, as was the cheesecake as per other reviews.
Unquestionably recommended. Just for a change try some excellent Polish food and drink at this restaurant. The main dishes are filling so go easy on the starters. We recommend sharing the delicious Pierogi dumplings and then the Lopatka pork or Kaszotto risotto. We also had desserts which meant that we had to roll home afterwards. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to going again sometime.
Great place amazing food
This place is the best price quality ratio restaurant I’ve tried in Manchester. Good service, nice atmosphere and amazing food. Tasty autentic dishes and incredible desserts, especially the cheesecake. Very recomendable place for a quite dinner for two or to go with friends.
Delicious and beautifully presented food. It is indeed 21st century Polish cuisine. Remarkable selection of the most delicious vodkas. I can’t wait to go back. Ever so friendly and helpful staff too
Always perfect, always wonderful, always want to return.
Thoroughly enjoyable evening.
A small but interesting menu, which is refreshing to see.
Very nice atmosphere and friendly service.
Food great - but I now know that I'm not a huge fan of Polish cheese.
Would not hesitate to recommend Platzki, beautiful home made food, great ambiance and very friendly and efficient staff
Small restaurant serving the best Polish food. Lovely cosy atmosphere. Friendly and helpful service. Beautifully presented high quality food. Perfect.
Lovely food and great service, would definitely go again with more people.
There was a table of 6 of us. Our first time there. The staff where very friendly and helped create a great atmosphere for the evening. The food was delicious, particularly the sorrel soup with pork. The restaurant was busy and lively. Despite being just off Deansgate it was a little difficult to find, but it was worth the effort. We will definitely go again!
The food, service and ambience was amazing.
Lovely evening, highly recommend!
We ate at Platzki for our 3 year anniversary, and we were not disappointed! It was so lovely, we loved the food, the atmosphere and setting😊it was perfect! Our server Anna was so lovely and chatty and made us feel comfortable. Thank you for such a nice evening, we will definitely be back again.
Such good, comforting food. It was hard to leave and I definitely want to go back!
Excellent Polish cuisine with a twist. Top quality food prepared and served by skilled, friendly and welcoming staff. A place the Polish diaspora in Manchester can be truly proud of!
Food, service and vibe on point as always. I love how Platzki manages to elevate the polish cuisine without losing its souls
Very pleased to try this new Polish restaurant in the centre of Manchester. Not a very wide choice on the menu but my colleague and I enjoyed a well cooked, tasty meal served by friendly, professional staff. Good value for what you get!
Would certainly recommend it to friends looking foe somewhere different.
The only negatives are that it is quite difficult to find and toilet facilities are outside
An excellent meal in a warm and homely restaurant. The service was lovely and personal, and the food just delicious! Would definitely recommend this hidden gem
Got there late on a Thursday night. The restaurant is an oasis above busy Deansgate in a row of sadly vacant stores. Dinner service was winding down but we were treated extremely well. Food was excellent and a very good value. Everything we had was worthwhile.
I have been twice now and love this place - they really went out of their way when I went with my sister in law and baby Neice - very welcoming. Lovely food, great value- a real gem
Highly recommend Platzki. Innovative Polish food and excellent service. We sat outside as it was a lovely sunny evening. If you're in Manchester seek out this fabulous restaurant.
Delicious food, great service, will definitely be going back.
My boyfriend and I went here for a meal on Sunday, not realising that we would be limited to a set menu. Little did we know that we were in for a treat!
The set menu consists of 7-courses, all small plates. I opted for the vegetarian menu which was fantastic - the food was fresh, beautifully presented, and authentic.
The service was a bit slow as there was only one waiter, and there were a few families there with young children who were noisy, but that can’t be helped by the restaurant.
Other than that, it was a fantastic dining experience and we will certainly be returning.
Delicious varieties of dumpling, all unfamiliar to us. Lovely wine too. Service good. Unfortunately we went on the Friday of constant torrential rain so it was very quiet! Going outside to toilet not good on that day. Will go again to sample more dishes
Everything about this place was spot on. Excellent and attentive service, wonderful, tasty food and free cherry vodka to finish - a lovely touch. We liked the unusual wines and chose one from Moldova. All 4 of us agreed we will definitely return - hopefully on a weekend evening to try some more adventurous Polish cuisine.
Small and intimate in a very good way! Limited menu but everything we had was delicious and portions were just right. Unique, good value and recommended.
Delightful little place with amazing food. Restricted menu so you know everything is fresh and tastes great no matter what you order. Plus it's nice to have a different cuisine from the usual choices in Manchester.
We booked a table for 5.15pm on Wednesday afternoon. It wasn’t busy when we arrived with one or rwo other tables occupied. The service was prompt and very friendly.
The choice of main courses was good. Again the order arrived quickly and the food was good and tasty.
By the time we left we were the only customers and but the staff took the time to chat with us and recommended up coming events and offers both in the restaurant and surrounding areas.
Overall a pleasant meal with friendly and efficient customer service.
Its a lovely restaurant with a good amount of authentic menu choices, tasty food, nice ambience and the price was fair.
Fantastic restaurant! The service was excellent, the interior is lovely, the food was delicious and also decorated and presented wonderfully! We would go back any time!!!
Food was tasty but plain. Cheese cake generous and scrumptious. On the expensive side for very limited choice. Great service and yes we will go back
My daughter was grumpy with everything and everyone, the staff were brilliant with her. She eventually managed to eat something and said that the beef cheeks were like butter. Beautiful.
Thank you for such a nice review. We are delighted your daughter liked the food. We are trying to satisfy every one of each even the youngest ones at our restaurant. This is our aim to leave a smile on your face and full tummy as well.
