We change our menu twice a week. Yes, that’s right! Two times a week.
Our ‘From Wednesday to Friday’ menu is filled with Polish classics with a modern twist. A comfortable meal, perfect for lunch and spontaneous dinners with friends. This is the time when you will be able to taste delicious dumplings. However, as we like to surprise our guests, be sure that you will also find dishes that are not so obvious to Polish cuisine.
It’s Weekend! Let’s celebrate! Platzki Fine Dining Experience is a real feast on your plate. Our specially selected dishes will be an unforgettable addition to any romantic dinner or a family gathering. On weekends our imagination about traditional Polish cuisine and extraordinary additions reaches the zenith! We guarantee that you won’t leave disappointed.
If you’re interested and would like to find out more how these two menus are different, take a look at our facebook and check out what we've served in the previous weeks!

Really enjoyed the meal / experience. The staff were all extremely helpful and warm. The table and food were all presented beautifully and were delicious! Thanks
An intimate, down to earth, polish restaurant with simple delicious food a stones through from Manchester Opera house.
The service was swift and friendly, the portions generous, prices reasonable, and food yummy and a little different from the norm.
We really enjoyed ourselves.
Platzki is our all time favourite restaurant in Manchester, for quick lunch, romantic meals, and birthdays. The food is SO GOOD and although we are vegan/vegetarian it’s still our first choice of where to go. Even with a limited menu we really love the food these guys make!! The place reminds us of our grandmothers kitchens and has a super warm and cosy atmosphere.
Wonderful food and staff. Definitely try some of the drinks they have available, personally recommend the Mad Dog Shots.
Very enjoyable night. Great food and service. Very relaxed.
Excellent food. Feels like you are invited to a friend’s home.
The food was excellent. The waitress however was bizarre in her manner, very rushed and unattentive which went against the whole ambience of the place. A bizarre experience overall.
Unfortunately no doughnuts left last Thursday and we booked a table for it specifically so that was a shame but this place is amazing in general and food is always class 👌🏼
Superb food. You can see the chef working on your dinner. Amazing
My husband & l have visited a few times & have never been disappointed!
Great food, great atmosphere , small & cosy and staff are very friendly.
One of the best restaurants I have experienced in Manchester in recent years.
Amazing food, attentive and pleasant service, good value.
Perfect as always! The steak was delicious and all the veggies options too. Looking forward to visiting again!
Very relaxed and unrushed, like sitting in someones kitchen. The menu was interesting and the food delicious. There is a small wine selection, some beer and a smorgasbord of vodka options.
We really enjoyed dining at Platzki. Once we had found it (it’s a bit tucked away!), we loved the ambiance and the fact that you can watch the chefs cooking. In some places that makes the restaurant noisy and steamy, but I think it’s small enough to get away with it.
The service was very friendly and the food was excellent.
The place was quaint and lovely, however the small menu, and the lack of stock on that menu meant that we were very restricted to our meal choice. Despite this the food we had was okay but the service was brilliant!
Really welcoming place. Delicious food, our first time eating polish food. Won't be the last. Lovely waitress.
This was our first visit to Platzki and our first Polish restaurant. Food is delicious, the service was excellent and we felt very welcomed and relaxed. Highly recommended, it deserves the high star ratings.
The food was just amazing. A lot of things we'd not tried before, but every dish was full of flavour. The beetroot carpaccio with smoked cottage cheese was a thing of beauty!
Delicious food, very friendly staff, cozy interior with a unique home-like atmosphere.
With pleasure and with pride I recommend this place to all my friends.
We had a lovely Sunday lunch. It was unfortunate that it wasn't busy otherwise the ambience would have been great. It was a grey, wet afternoon and the restaurant was a bit chilly. Overall though, we really enjoyed our experience...the food brought back happy memories of my childhood!
Simply excellent - 5th meal here this year and just consistently stunning
Reminded me of one of the folksy places I have eaten at in Krakow. Great traditional Polish food in well presented, generous prortions. Loved the pierogi. Really friendly service.
My husband and I had dinner at Platzki this past weekend to celebrate my birthday and it was amazing!! Love the cute and cozy decor, the open kitchen and intimate feel. We started with a beet and goat cheese dish, as well as the oxblood perogis, both which were delicious and flavorful. Highly recommend the mushroom risotto and cheesecake! My husband had the three veal dish and immensely enjoyed his as well. Don’t forget to try the vodka too as they are great quality and go down smoothly. Overall great experience and will definitely be back!
Could only get a table for 9:15PM on Friday. Upon arrival, there is ony one table in use!! I went with the intention of trying the flavoured vodka and eating the ox cheeks. Only to find that the ox cheeks have run out and the alcohol licence finishes at 9PM. !!
That little gem should have been front and centre on the website, in my view.
Service was decent and food was very good, though without the ox cheeks I was left with very little choice.
Would have preferred they waited until we left before mopping the floors with strong smelling pine cleaner!!
Some work to do to get this place rockin it saddens me to say. Mushroom and Barley risotto was great, as was the cheesecake as per other reviews.
Unquestionably recommended. Just for a change try some excellent Polish food and drink at this restaurant. The main dishes are filling so go easy on the starters. We recommend sharing the delicious Pierogi dumplings and then the Lopatka pork or Kaszotto risotto. We also had desserts which meant that we had to roll home afterwards. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to going again sometime.
Great place amazing food
This place is the best price quality ratio restaurant I’ve tried in Manchester. Good service, nice atmosphere and amazing food. Tasty autentic dishes and incredible desserts, especially the cheesecake. Very recomendable place for a quite dinner for two or to go with friends.
Delicious and beautifully presented food. It is indeed 21st century Polish cuisine. Remarkable selection of the most delicious vodkas. I can’t wait to go back. Ever so friendly and helpful staff too
Always perfect, always wonderful, always want to return.
Thoroughly enjoyable evening.
A small but interesting menu, which is refreshing to see.
Very nice atmosphere and friendly service.
Food great - but I now know that I'm not a huge fan of Polish cheese.
Would not hesitate to recommend Platzki, beautiful home made food, great ambiance and very friendly and efficient staff
Small restaurant serving the best Polish food. Lovely cosy atmosphere. Friendly and helpful service. Beautifully presented high quality food. Perfect.
Lovely food and great service, would definitely go again with more people.
There was a table of 6 of us. Our first time there. The staff where very friendly and helped create a great atmosphere for the evening. The food was delicious, particularly the sorrel soup with pork. The restaurant was busy and lively. Despite being just off Deansgate it was a little difficult to find, but it was worth the effort. We will definitely go again!
The food, service and ambience was amazing.
Lovely evening, highly recommend!
We ate at Platzki for our 3 year anniversary, and we were not disappointed! It was so lovely, we loved the food, the atmosphere and setting😊it was perfect! Our server Anna was so lovely and chatty and made us feel comfortable. Thank you for such a nice evening, we will definitely be back again.
Such good, comforting food. It was hard to leave and I definitely want to go back!
Excellent Polish cuisine with a twist. Top quality food prepared and served by skilled, friendly and welcoming staff. A place the Polish diaspora in Manchester can be truly proud of!
