Pizzeria Bel Giardino
Great service, great food, was just hot in there! Not a deal breaker will definitely go back and soon!
Went for a birthday dinner and enjoyed our experience. Second time being there since the change in chef, and the food was amazing. We enjoyed the tower of mozzarella and eggplant for an appetizer, and the entrees of veal Marsala and chicken Parmesan were delicious. We will be going back!
Could be very good. Sat in the charming backroom which was stuffy and smelled of old cleaning mops. Service was professional and friendly. My appetizer was a miss. I ordered burrata with fresh tomatoes, olive oil and olives. The cheese was excellent but the tomatoes were a pale reddish-yellow and tasteless. Since the appetizer only had two main ingredients, both should have been excellent. If not, it should not have been served. Our mains were good - tasty farfalle with cream sauce, tortellini with pesto and chicken with prosciutto. All mains were well balanced, artfully presented and enough to take home. We were too full for dessert. A very friendly staff made the evening special. Will visit again.
Had to sit next to where the pizza ovens were it was a little hot while we were waiting !!young girls waitresses were good but a little unsure of them selves but very nice . They happen to have a party booked in the dining room so we could not get to sit there we ate in the Pizza parlor part of the restaurant !! overall I would definitely go back
Thank you so much for the kind review! We are so happy you enjoyed your food and hope to have you back again real soon! Thanks for dining with us!
Very bland food. Not difficult to make flavorful Italian food yet out of 4 entrees none were tasty. Meatballs not made from scratch. There are better options in Cranford.
Isabel, I am very sorry you did not enjoy our authentic Italian cuisine. Our meatballs are actually made fresh by hand using our chef from Sicily's grandmother's recipe. We are sorry you thought the food was bland, please let us know what you had so we can evaluate with our chefs and taste and flavor are everything to us and we want all of our customers to be happy and enjoy!
Kyle was super made you feel at home
Will become regulars
More interesting menu than many of the local Italian places, and prices are very reasonable. And it's BYOB.
Kyle and Enzo are welcoming and great chefs, consistently good Italian dishes
Nice little spot, noce staff, worth a shot, low key. Enjoyed the dishes
Second visit and it was as good as the first! Looking forward to a third!
My husband and I had dinner on Valentine's Day - excellent!
We really enjoyed our first visit to this restaurant. We started by sharing a garden salad and eggplant rollatini...both delicious. I may get a double eggplant rollatini next time as my entree since it was so good! This was followed by sole francese with a side of pasta with marinara sauce for me, and my dining mate had salmon with ravioli in a light sauce...seemed like a strange combo but it was very good. We finished by splitting a cheesecake...next time I think I'll try one of the chocolate selections. Two more pluses for this restaurant: it's right across the street from the movie theater, and it's a BYO! Our waitress and the owner were both very friendly and made us feel *at home*. Already looking forward to another visit!
It's the detail to ingredients that make the food taste so darn good. A perfect blend of flavors to make each dish.
The seafood salad was one of the freshest I ever had and tasty.
The food here is amazing. We had reservations on a Friday night and were seated promptly. This place is also BYOB, which is a plus in our book! I had the chicken via Allison and it was delicious! The portion size was the right amount. For dessert, we had the cannolis. The filling was to die for!
Our server was very attentive and friendly. The new owner came to greet us. He has a great personality! Overall, we had an amazing experience. We will be back very soon!
