Loved the food and drinks !
Service was great at the start of the meal and then they seem to forget about us after main course .
It would have been nice for the people waiting on tables to ask us if we wanted a coffee/ tea after lunch rather then us having to go to them to ask for service.
We didn’t know they had cakes to take home or eat there till we were paying our bill near the cake display.
Rebooked for Monday as I loved the food and coffee so much, hoping the service is good throughout our time eating / drinking there.
Nice friendly service and the food came out fast, which is great when eating with young children
delicious food with great service. We are regulars for a reason!
Ordered drinks upon arrival that got forgotten to be bought out. Mains bought out at different times- some nearly finished before others got their food. Took cutlery from entree not brining some back for mains - had to ask. Pizzas ok , other main food void of flavour. Was there for a birthday and not a pleasant experience at all.
So diappointed. Have been watching this place grow for 6 months and finally made it in. The gnocchi were tough, old and sauce burnt. The crab spaghetti was a bit flavoursome, there was no crab to see . Only highlight was the fried cauliflower. So sad to say, but wont be going again :(
The service was very professional and personalised to suit all customer types. The food was really affordable and beautiful. This was the second time I have dined there and it certainly will not be the last.
I regularly have client meetings at Pippo and I always find it such a nice place to be. Great service, food and drinks and a really lovely location too!
Thank you team for always being so accommodating.
xx Alix the Celebrant.
Very pleasant venue. Friendly and helpful service. Excellent food. I was with good company and we had a really good, comfortable and unhurried time together.
Huge thanks and many blessings.
Service was pretty good especially for a busy day. It a nice venue but keeps struggling for a decent chef. Food was fairly average. The pizza wasn’t cooked properly and a bit soggy and doughy. Kids offer was deep fried pieces of chicken thigh which was a bit tough and fatty. Middle eastern chicken salad was nice.
The staff are lovely, the service is timely and the food is reliably wonderful. A great place to brunch on a Sunday.
Lovely atmosphere and stunning decor. Be prepared for it to be a bit noisy when children are about as this is a family cafe. Location is perfect and accessible. The crab scrambled eggs were delicious however I would steer clear of the Raspberry Mimosa - tasted like a berocca had been dropped in cheap champagne! Staff were fabulous and very attentive.
I went there on Good Friday, there were so nice and kind staffs. I enjoyed the food thanks to them.
Good food and coffee. However service disappointing - I had made an online booking a week earlier, but on arrival (a few minutes prior to booking time) and showing our booking reference, was told we had been marked as “arrived” because our table was given to someone else due to too many bookings and being too busy. Thankfully an outside table happened to become free, but this was just by luck.
Great food as per normal, service was slower than normal on this visit. We will be back.
Food was nice - kitchen or waitress forgot to bring 2 sides that were ordered
Once again the staff and food where exceptional. Can not fault anything. Our night was amazing
Delicious and generous sized portions of food. Very attentive service. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!
The coffee was one of the best coffees we’ve had in a veryyyy long time, and the food was delicious! My husband and I were very impressed and will definitely bring our friends here.
A staff member advised us the menu is outdated and when we got the bill, outside of the surcharge we found out the menu prices have increased which resulted in $48 extra. The hashbrowns were disgusting and overly flourly, I made a booking to sit outside and there was a table available at the time I arrived.
Lamb was Devine!
Food and staff were absolutely amazing.
Great food, staff are welcoming!
Really good service and yummy food worth the value. We will be back. Thank you
We often eat here and the experience is generally good. Went to their Valentine Night Dinner. The only criticism would be the length of time that the evening took. Too long. Need to consolidate a bit. Service was good.
We went for the Valentines Day set meal and while it was amazing, no where was it advertised that the majority of the plates were going to be share plates with your date. We were a bit shocked when we had to share a plate between us for the entree and mains, and with it being about $79 per person I thought something like that would have been written somewhere. The food was divine otherwise, the staff were friendly and approachable. I love the decor and ambiance. It was a great experience, just sad we didn’t get our own plates.
We ordered scrambled eggs and received poached eggs for both orders we also asked for no tomato swap tomato for hashbrowns and was not advised that it was five dollar cost for the hot hash brown and still receive tomato and a hash brown was like pureed potato fried it was not like a typical hash brown and was not eaten.
My meal was fritters and corn with poached eggs the fritters just tasted like the boil they were cooked in and where heavy the poached eggs were sitting over the mayo ordeal source which was not pleasant the food on the plate was barely touched but no one asked was your food okay or commented on the fact that there was still food left the coffees were also better requiring sugar which we normally don’t have.
The pizza was nice overall I would not recommend or return based on experience we had.
Food was amazing! We had the feed me menu option. The entree buratta was great as well as the dukkah/ flatbread. Only thing we can fault was the pork belly which was quite over done and dry. Other than that we had a lovely waitress who made us feel very welcomed, thank you we'll be back 🙂
the revamped menu is most pleasing. lots of choices. recommended.
Pippo has a lovely ambience and is a comfortable space, not too crowded. The noise level on busy days at busy times is very high, but everything else is excellent. The staff are skilful, friendly and attentive, and you never have to wait very long for the excellent food and coffee.
Amazing food with super generous portions, very quick and friendly service and amazing value for money, definitely recommend 😊
The restaurant is lovely and the waitress was fantastic! We were impressed with the menu selections and the price for the area. We go unlucky with our selections however. My husband and I selected two salads. Mine Thai chicken and his chargrilled squid. The majority of the salad was large leaf parsley. For a Thai salad I would have expected some coriander and mint maybe some peanuts. And my husbands was mostly parsley and his fennel and radish (which were shaved too thick). I’ve never seen my husband pick apart a meal. We would visit again to try something else however I would recommend more greens in the salad, less parsley for variety. Coriander, mint, asparagus etc.
Amazing! Pippo is my go to restaurant for any time of the day.
Ambience, food and service is incredible 😍
As a first time customer at Pippo, it was a very pleasant experience. The restaurant had a very relaxing, fun and vibrant vibe. The service was great and the employees were so friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and came very quickly. Overall it was a wonderful experience and would definitely be going again in the future.
Amazing pizza and cocktails! Best pizza I ever had in Adelaide.
Amazing place! Googled places in Adelaide to eat and Pippo came up and thought to try it for my birthday! Amazing! Such a good vibe, nice drinks list as well! The staff were so lovely and I hope they didn’t mind my table being loud! The food was absolutely to die for!! I’ll defs be back!
Fantastic brunch with a variety of choices. Lovely & accommodating staff.
Decent food, average cocktails, only thing that saved the night was the beautiful young girl who served our table! However, wonderful interior design
Food was amazing although the staff did not seem to think we had a booking even though I had booked online earlier that week and had received a confirmation email from OpenTable. Still got a seat easily though and service was very quick.
The food we had was very nice but the thing that stood out was the service we received. It was outstanding. I didn’t catch our waitress’s name but she was blonde, and extremely knowledgeable and happy to assist. The other staff were great too.
Bit average to be honest. One dish was burnt (the adjacent table also complained of the same), menu was full of options that only had coriander (yuk), and an overall lacking menu for lunch service. Service was ok. Wouldn’t go back again
