Food and staff were absolutely amazing.
Great food, staff are welcoming!
Really good service and yummy food worth the value. We will be back. Thank you
We often eat here and the experience is generally good. Went to their Valentine Night Dinner. The only criticism would be the length of time that the evening took. Too long. Need to consolidate a bit. Service was good.
We went for the Valentines Day set meal and while it was amazing, no where was it advertised that the majority of the plates were going to be share plates with your date. We were a bit shocked when we had to share a plate between us for the entree and mains, and with it being about $79 per person I thought something like that would have been written somewhere. The food was divine otherwise, the staff were friendly and approachable. I love the decor and ambiance. It was a great experience, just sad we didn’t get our own plates.
We ordered scrambled eggs and received poached eggs for both orders we also asked for no tomato swap tomato for hashbrowns and was not advised that it was five dollar cost for the hot hash brown and still receive tomato and a hash brown was like pureed potato fried it was not like a typical hash brown and was not eaten.
My meal was fritters and corn with poached eggs the fritters just tasted like the boil they were cooked in and where heavy the poached eggs were sitting over the mayo ordeal source which was not pleasant the food on the plate was barely touched but no one asked was your food okay or commented on the fact that there was still food left the coffees were also better requiring sugar which we normally don’t have.
The pizza was nice overall I would not recommend or return based on experience we had.
Food was amazing! We had the feed me menu option. The entree buratta was great as well as the dukkah/ flatbread. Only thing we can fault was the pork belly which was quite over done and dry. Other than that we had a lovely waitress who made us feel very welcomed, thank you we'll be back 🙂
the revamped menu is most pleasing. lots of choices. recommended.
Pippo has a lovely ambience and is a comfortable space, not too crowded. The noise level on busy days at busy times is very high, but everything else is excellent. The staff are skilful, friendly and attentive, and you never have to wait very long for the excellent food and coffee.
Amazing food with super generous portions, very quick and friendly service and amazing value for money, definitely recommend 😊
The restaurant is lovely and the waitress was fantastic! We were impressed with the menu selections and the price for the area. We go unlucky with our selections however. My husband and I selected two salads. Mine Thai chicken and his chargrilled squid. The majority of the salad was large leaf parsley. For a Thai salad I would have expected some coriander and mint maybe some peanuts. And my husbands was mostly parsley and his fennel and radish (which were shaved too thick). I’ve never seen my husband pick apart a meal. We would visit again to try something else however I would recommend more greens in the salad, less parsley for variety. Coriander, mint, asparagus etc.
Amazing! Pippo is my go to restaurant for any time of the day.
Ambience, food and service is incredible 😍
As a first time customer at Pippo, it was a very pleasant experience. The restaurant had a very relaxing, fun and vibrant vibe. The service was great and the employees were so friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and came very quickly. Overall it was a wonderful experience and would definitely be going again in the future.
Amazing pizza and cocktails! Best pizza I ever had in Adelaide.
Amazing place! Googled places in Adelaide to eat and Pippo came up and thought to try it for my birthday! Amazing! Such a good vibe, nice drinks list as well! The staff were so lovely and I hope they didn’t mind my table being loud! The food was absolutely to die for!! I’ll defs be back!
Fantastic brunch with a variety of choices. Lovely & accommodating staff.
Decent food, average cocktails, only thing that saved the night was the beautiful young girl who served our table! However, wonderful interior design
Food was amazing although the staff did not seem to think we had a booking even though I had booked online earlier that week and had received a confirmation email from OpenTable. Still got a seat easily though and service was very quick.
The food we had was very nice but the thing that stood out was the service we received. It was outstanding. I didn’t catch our waitress’s name but she was blonde, and extremely knowledgeable and happy to assist. The other staff were great too.
Bit average to be honest. One dish was burnt (the adjacent table also complained of the same), menu was full of options that only had coriander (yuk), and an overall lacking menu for lunch service. Service was ok. Wouldn’t go back again
Food is amazing any time of day breakfast, lunch and dinner. A great atmosphere, very lively (not for people who want a quiet meal) but great for a fun and chic vibe. Service was great couldn’t fault it. Definitely would go back again to finish off the menu.
The restaurant, food and service from our waitress were good but the service from the Chef was very disappointing. The Chef didn't bother to check the notes made on the receipt regarding allergies and ended up sending me to hospital.
I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you have allergies as they are not taken seriously.
Great food and lovely wait staff.
My steak was cooked perfectly.. I’ll definitely be back to try other things on the menu :)
We had the ‘feed me’ menu with entree and mains. My husband has a dairy allergy which they accommodated easily. Everything we tried was delicious, and so much food! We were offered more but had to refuse as we were so full! The waitresses were very attentive and we will definitely be going back again soon.
Had lunch and there were many menu choices. We opted for the gnocchi with ragu and the beef burger. Both were generous and the chips that came with the burger were excellent. Good choice of wine by the glass too. Service was prompt and attentive, without being intrusive.
We needed a meeting for our network. We thought about when- some venues only open for lunch; we thought about location- we wanted something central; we thought about parking- and the cost and need to feed a meter or even find a space; We thought about the food- we needed a menu to download! We had to think about COVID 19 because Adelaide was shut down on the weekend prior. Pippo in North Adelaide catered for all that we thought was important and we had a great brunch network meeting!
I am a marriage Celebrant and have been coming into Pippo for meetings with couples for the past few months. The staff are always really lovely and accommodating. My couples always leave saying "we will have to come back here". Thank you Pippo for being a great place to have brekky/lunch/dinner and work meetings!
The food was delicious and the service was very prompt!
Very good food and service. The noise echo/level detracted from the experience though. Poppy music being played a little too loud, marble floors, glass wall on 2 corners (which gives a cool view) & no soundproofing or soft buffers unfortunately
Beautifully set out venue with good acoustics - we found it easy to chat over dinner while the place was bustling with people and noise. Food was absolutely delicious - highly recommend the wood fired cauliflower (yum)! Only let down was the dessert which was just average. Our waitress was amazing - always there but never in the way or pestering us! Will definitely be returning.
The ambience of the place was lovely and the staff were very attentive
Unfortunately we ordered a beef burger and the patty was quite burnt
Amazing food and friendly service. Will absolutely be back at some point
Acoustics poor so very noisy and needed to shout at fellow diner.
F&B good, service prompt but needs some soft furnishings to absorb noise and make conversations easier and more pleasant.
The food is not good at all everything is dry. Feels like they are trying to Be asian fusion but it turns out to be a disaster. The sauce are unmatched, We ordered a steak and the sauce is sour. The pork belly has that heavy pork flavour. Only good thing is the food presentation. Oh and waiter was too pushy. Overall not a good Experience.
Fabulous pizzas and cocktails. Service was great. All the staff were very attentive and helpful. Will definitely go back again soon.
Horrifically loud, with a wild and unruly table of some 12 men behind us. Staff, despite pleas from other guests, did nothing to quieten the large table. Our drinks were comp’d which was appreciated, but insufficient.
Management should have spoken to the table and not left it to other guests to shout across the room for them to “please shut up!”.
Will not return.
Unfortunately a large group of people drinking to much and being overly loud spoiled the night out. A few dinners asked to be moved because of their behaviour and rudeness. We left as soon as possible which is a shame because the food was great. I would suggest having a word in their ears to tell them to lower the noise level. It is a restaurant / cafe not a pub.
Beautiful food, great service. We had the feed me menu for $49 and were SO full by the end of it.
Good food and excellent service makes it a great lunchtime venue choice.
The only negative is the loud music plus the loudness of the patrons made for poor table conversation. Other than that, the food is very different, well thought out and delicious. There is something for everyone!
