A real surprise. Didn't realise there was inside dining and it was amazing. It was like walking into somewhere in England. The service was fantastic and the food was great. Loved the whole experience.
Staff were rude - minimal patrons but waited in a bar line for 10 minutes just to be seated then waitress was rude & abrupt - went for drinks & was then overlooked by bar man so he could serve his friend & have a jolly chat - was very disappointed & have been to several PnW’s. Food was good though.
Great family lunch during the quiet holiday period for the Pig and Whistle.
There is a good variety of dishes on the menu which are reasonably priced and with generous serves.
It is quiet at lunchtimes but gets very busy with the after work crowd.
Would recommend for groups of friends or families

Booked a table for 7 people. The table was only big enough for 4 to 6 people. So loud had trouble talking and hearing people at my table
No QR check in, Not enough staff, way too noisy and not complaint with Covid safe regulations.

We have visited the Pig & Whistle before so it was a known venue.
There was a minor hitch as the booking didn't come seem to come through but we were found a table quickly.
The food and drink, as well as the service, was very good.
Indoor service was very slow. Waited at times 30-40 minutes for drinks to be ordered and made. Outdoor service fantastic. Great food and environment 😊 thanks!
I booked for 15 and we could only get 10 people on this so the booking of 15 did not work, very poor.

The team at the Pig and Whistle are always accommodating when we come down en masse to watch the rugby. Great fun in front of the big screen.

Great atmosphere. BUT the best is the service. Can't remember her name but she had been there many years, dark hair. Best waitress ever. Helpful, efficient and just plain nice.

First time at the pig n Whistle and I really liked the ambiance there, had the parmigiana which was fairly priced, hubby had the steak which was on the high side but good, great music and our waiter was funny as 👌even after I moved tables 3 times due to wanting to be by the band lol
We had a few of the entrees which were mostly nice. We had the wedges which were a bit basic and dry. The skewers, arancini and spring rolls were nice. The wings in hot sauce were average. Its a good place to go overall though with pleasant staff and a good atmosphere. We have previously had the main meals and have always enjoyed them.
We were served by a very welcoming and attentive host man. He made polite banter and was quick with service. We will be back

Our Waiter was amazing, he was funny and energetic. The food was lovely. The only comment i would make is that the music was a little loud, we seemed to be shouting to hear each other but it didn't ruin the experience. :)

it was a nice lunch for 4 family members on a friday afternoon. the food is quite pricy for a bub / restaurant, hence it is a rare visit.
