We went to the restaurant after the movies. It was very conveniently situated downstairs. Our waitress was lovely and the food was good.

Food came out all at different times, and not altogether. Half of the table got served first, and then approx 30 mins later the others got their meals. I also didn't think that the price matched what you actually got. Perhaps a few dollars less across the board?

We attended the mother's day high tea. We booked in advance but waited over 1 hour for our food to be brought out. During this time the staff were helpful when we were able to attract their attention. When the food arrived it was really nice however, over priced due to it being mothers day.
We had always gone to the pig n whistle for mother day high tea and other special events however, won't be anymore.

Very nice variations on the usual Pig n Whistle menu. The chowder was a very nice and good sized lunch dish. Nice touch to see Pepe Saya butter accompanying the sourdough bread.

Pig N Whistle Bistrot (once known as Fleet Street) is tucked into the side of the Food Court at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, which means there is always parking, it's pretty easy to access, but once tucked inside the restaurant, the rest of the world fades away. The service is always excellent, with friendly, helpful staff, and the food reliably delicious. Our group had a great night together, and we will always be happy to come again, at any time of day!

this restaurant is handy for before/after shopping or movies. i ordered the pan-seared gnocchi, a delicious vegetarian dish, and the sticky date pudding, light and fluffy and just the right amount of sweet for my taste buds. my husband ordered the rump steak, cooked exactly as requested, and he was able to substitute vegetables for the usual "chips & salad", and crepes for dessert. the wine and beer lists are extensive, as you would expect from a good pub. the prices seem on the high side for a suburban pub, but the service is quick and friendly. the bistrot was not very busy on the night we ate there and, as it is separate from the pub, the atmosphere might have seemed a bit subdued; however, that does mean you can have a proper conversation without having to shout in order to be heard.
