Nothing fresh about the scallops for entree, seafood linguine sub-par with un-eatable calamari (very tough). Two bites of the creme brûlée and that was enough. Decided I’m out of here. Had planned get get a second bottle of red or a cocktail but enough was enough. Tried to give the owner some constructive feedback but he wasn’t interested. Got his back up and became aggressive and told us to pay our bill and ef off… suggest he try to listen to customers as it looks as though I’m not the first to experience similar.. or he won’t be around long, but that might be best for everyone.

They got our order wrong, there was half melted butter on the table but we had to ask twice for bread (two slices), very average menu, the lady next to us was sitting barefoot and cross legged on the bench, lots of noisy kids

The local was closed and we had not been to the Pier Farm in its current iteration. The attention to detail stands out. Attention to wine of course with a great selection. We had a share plate of calamari which was perfect and accompanied by aioli which was another win! Be brazen and ask for more of the wonderful accompaniment to crisp home prepared calamari. The seafood linguine was abundant in seafood. The prawns were freshly prepared and the seafood mix was delicious with a Napoli style thick sauce. My risotto defied explanation. I cook with crab but this was a stunner. Chunks of claw and white meat. The blend of butter wine and amazingly fragrant olive oil did it for me. And I think the peas were fresh? I’m a devotee of risotto and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The waiting staff are friendly and the management team amicable and interested in our lunch experience. A treat!

We enjoyed all our main meal, thank you.
However the pecorino cheese served with the Antipasto platter was hard as a rock and it tasted old. When I told your waitress about the quality of the cheese and we couldn't cut it using the knife she provided us, all she said was it is pecorino cheese. And completely ignore our comment.
Another issue, I booked your restaurant because it is my bestfriend's birthday for 5 people. One of our friends was running late therefore there were only 4 us who came in first. I asked the waiter why we are being place to a four seater table and not to the bigger that can accommodate our booking a week ago. The waiter asked who I believe the owner of Manager of this restaurant; wearing all black outfit response was they will move five seater table when their other friend arrived. I asked if we can be moved to the corner of five seater table instead but I was ignored and still made us seat in the middle part of the restaurant on a four seater table. Soon after we sat, 4 new people was welcome warmly by the same lady owner/Manager and they were seated to the spot I requested.
I must say one of your lovely young waiter and a young gentleman were wonderful and professional. Particularly the young girl, she was serving us with smile, warm and friendly courteous manner.
The older waiter (darkish) hair and the Owner/Manager lady mostly standing at the front counter of the restaurant should really take some lessons from this young staff on how to treat your customers equally, courteously and professionally.

Would be nice to actually get in the door before being greeted by the grumpy lady asking for vaccination certificate. Not even a "hi" or "do you have a booking". Anyway waitress was lovely who looked after us and the food was yum.

Been a couple of times over the many years, noted its fluctuating quality but happy to say this latest attendance showed a marked recovery that I would place it back on my list of go-to venues; very pleased with the attention of the reception and attendance to covid sign in, waitress attention to service was really good; simple issues like the freshness of the table bread and the quality of the butter was noted; my tender rib eye was cooked just right, equally so my partner's fillet of fish and the side serve of sweet potatoes fries we shared, cocktails were great. Only comment flat white coffee is

Noise level undermined a lovely evening. Baffles needed urgently. Fit out very nice. Love the bar and tiles. Pork belly and ragu both nice but an extra hour cooking time would have really made a difference. Seafood linguini excellent. Wines good. Bread/butter lovely. Fish and chips would be better with a smaller portion accompanied by a side salad to add value and appeal to the meal. More creative vegetarian options would be welcomed. Best wishes. We will come back to see if noise has abated. Cheers and welcome back. Kate

$12/15 dollars for a small bowel of green leaves that was grabbed out a bulk box was rip off.
A salad is more than green leaves.

Other wise the rest was fine.

Given we went there the first or second night after release from lock down
and they were having trouble getting staff, they did realy well.

I will give them a third go .

Location, location ,location ! The staff were friendly and very attentive. The restaurant is perched on the edge of the water which look towards Melbourne's city skyline , the views are sensational ! this made up for the food which I thought was average. Next time we will try the pizza. Overall I would recommend because of its location.

My wife’s birthday - asked for a table inside but was told they couldn’t guarantee.
Got a nice table in the newer wing of the restaurant and our 2 hours was plenty of time - even so , we were not asked to leave .
Food is delicious . I had the Lamb Rack and would always like it “medium to well” - didn’t order any special cooking and the lamb was fabulous- cooked to perfection.

The staff were incredibly non attentive and we waiting 20minutes before finally flagging someone down for water and a menu. Another wait just to order, another wait for lunch and another wait for an extra drink. I was shocked. It was not peak time either. I understand restaurants are just opening but the venue was not at capacity and there were a lot of staff. Will not rush back. Luckily they have a good drinks list and amazing view to fall back on.

Went there on Sunday just gone beautiful location, the service was ok the menus are way to big and take up most of the table out dated dishes and way over priced ordered the calamari as entree didn’t seem fresh was very rubbery, for mains we ordered 2 eye fillets which we sent back as they where cooked to well done and asked for medium rare the 2nd steaks came out medium to well done we didn’t bother for a $50 dollar steak it was dry and tough really disappointing

First eat out of lockdown and was very underwhelming spent $314 for 4 people and it just wasn’t worth it

Hopefully they can fix the quality of the food to match the location won’t be going back anytime soon

Think there trying to be a fine dining restaurant and charging ridiculous prices and are a bit out of there league

Really disappointing.
Have been several times before for significant events, and had a lovely time, with fine food and great service: hence thought it a great option for my wife's 50th birthday.
Sadly, it turned out to be a very poor choice.
While I get that hospitality is just kicking off again post-COVID, the issues were nothing to do with this.
A couple of examples:
- tiny entree serving of scallops
- a salad which was basically just a small plate of leaves
- side serve of chips which were of a standard I would return if they were served at McDonalds
- a pasta of the day (rigatoni) which I could easily have made at home; for which I was charged $48. Just ridiculous.
The service was ok.
Overall - definitely would not recommend. There are plenty of better options.
Sadly, we won't be back.

The food was a bit disappointing. My partner ordered the King prawns on Risotto. There three prawn on an average risotto. For the price a bit underwhelming. I ordered steak medium rare. It came out medium to well done. I should have returned it but time was an issue. For the price overall not up to standard.

My partner ordered 2 cocktails. She is a very light drinker and would normally feel the pinch a little after one. She doubts there was much alcohol in them at all.
