We had a wonderful night, with a fantastic menu and wine list.
Friendly staff, brilliant service. Pier Farm is clearly the best restaurant and in Williamstown.
Definitely going back there.. Food was great and so as the place.
Great restaurant, lovely food and excellent service.
Service was slow, food was average at best. Ambience was good, noise level reasonable. Expensive food, your paying for the view, as mentioned the food quality was passable.
Very over priced for what you get, went with a friend and we wanted to order multiple entrees and share them, the waiter told us we had to order mains as that’s what you do at a restaurant, little confused with this, not sure why we need to be told what we have to order! with drinks and the entrees we still spent $200 on a very ordinary lunch, will not be back.
The location and service were excellent but unfortunately the food was not of the same quality.
Nice atmosphere but my steak was cooked under rare instead of the medium I requested
The pizza was nice but our entree of calamari had the smallest rings I have ever encountered and they were also chewy
The classic fish and chips was also not very good
The waiter had very bad breath and after waiting for 30 min to have our table cleared so we could order desert we gave up and left
Not a very good experience for the price unfortunately
Had yet another lovely meal here, accompanied by great wine and good service. Excellent location with nice views.
Service need an improvement
Food nice and well presented
This venue continues to deliver good food and service consistently, this trip did not disappoint. a bit of a hidden surprise is the wine cellar here is very good
The food and wine were beautiful. The service was good and the restaurant was lovely with a gorgeous view of boats and the water!
Delightful in every aspect. Will definitely return.
Lovely ambient venue. Knowledgeable and friendly waitstaff. Good variety on the menu. And reasonable prices. The cutaletti could have been more flavoursome. Overall an enjoyable evening :)
The wait staff were so lovely and attentive. Food, deserts and drinks were great. Had a great view of the water as well. Will definitely come back.
Good food options and choices. Service was quite good and very friendly
Can have a. Relatively inexpensive meal by ordering a pizza or go all out with their amazing steaks
Disappointing experience. Poor service and extremely overpriced food. Shame as venue is lovely but won’t be returning!
Pleasant but a little expensive for drinks and sides.
Great venue looking out to the city. Fantastic service and amazing food.
Lovely vibe and great service. Will be visiting again
God food, good service
Beautiful establishment for our lunch. We enjoyed our first experience at Pier Farm. Originally this was recommended to my Fiancé and I and we will definitely be passing on the recommendations to others.. The Pork Belly entrée, Seafood linguini and the Crab Risotto were sensational! That crab meat was something else!
We had one the best meals in a long time! Service was excellent. Thank you Pier Farm!
This is a favourite place as I love the setting and the food is consistently very good. The view across the water is gorgeous.
Unfortunately what was a fave place this visit the food was very below par...not very good...service good but something has changed here so disappointing
Post Covid, it’s nice to see that little has changed. Just minor tweaks here and there, but still the same great emphasis on seafood and fish there always was. Wonderful location and ambience. We experienced great service.
Stunning waterside restaurant with quality food & service
The view was stunning; easy parking; extremely attentive and friendly waiter. Made it a perfect birthday dinner for our daughter's 30th. Thank you.
Great location which leads to great expectations.
The food is consistent here.
My family have been here many times so this review is a summary of all my visits
Service is consistently about a 7 out of 10 and improves as the night winds down when the restaurant is not so busy.
The Manager will rectify quickly any issues without fuss.
One constant over many telephone calls to either amend a booking or to book a function is the abruptness of the person dealing with bookings.
We have changed our mind whilst on the phone attempting to book a function due to the attitude on the other end of the line. This definitely lets the restaurant down.
Multiple family members have had this same experience as well.
All was good, except the meals, 2 of the entree’s were very average and 3 of the main meals were less than that,
Didn’t want to spend money on deserts
after that. For 5 people this was a less than average outcome.
We were recommended by a friend to visit Pier Farm for our anniversary dinner so we had quite high expectations. We had seen the menu online ahead of arriving and noticed the $ of dishes were reasonably high so we were looking forward to a high quality meal and service.
Whilst the views of the harbour and general aesthetics of the restaurant were stunning, we were expecting far more poilshed service and an exceptional overall fine dining experience. Unfortunately the food and service were did not hit the mark and was a missed opportunity to really stand out as a fine dining experience. Food was overpriced for the what it was. Portion sizes were small (husband and I were still hungry after ordering a number of entrees to share and our mains!) Cocktain menu was limited ie. weren't able to make mojitos as they weren't on the menu.
This restaurant could really attract a highend customer due to its locality but unfortunately if we want a fine dining experience we'll be going into the CBD next time which is such a shame.
Enjoyed a lovely dinner, food was delicious and service was great.
Great location, friendly staff, beautiful food, recommend
Terrible management that literally held us hostage and would not let us leave because we wanted to move seats and he refused- so he suggested we “go somewhere else “ and then refused to let us out !
Embarrassing that I felt so cornered and threatened that I had to make a scene in order to be able to be let out . Horrid
Entree of scallops was excellent but main of John Dory was underwhelming, under seasoned and quite bland.
Dessert of chocolate mousse was also underwhelming. There was too much cake got my liking.
The ambience, service and views were excellent.
We enjoyed our evening and the beautiful food, thank you
It was lovely sitting on the deck with a glass of wine and watching the boats come in.
Although a considered menu it did lack non meat options.
Price for food was a little on the higher side, however when you have the option to sit out on the water, the scenery made up for it.
Wouldn't recommend it if you are wanting an intimate dinner, for when more than two groups joined, the restaurant became quite noisy.
We have been meaning to go to Pier Farm for ages and so glad we finally got there. You could spend all afternoon out on the lovely balcony overlooking the marina. The service was fabulous - only small gripe was that drinks weren't offered when our glasses were empty even when the empty glasses were taken away. The menu was good and there were also loads of specials to choose from as well and the food was beautiful. It is definitely a new favourite for us!
This was our first time at Pier Farm and it was a great choice for our anniversary. Friendly staff, great view and delicious food.
Over priced for very limited lunch
Battered flathead fillets and a bowl of chips $40.00 To have salad as side add $14.00
A baby whole grilled snapper with a little portion of lettuce $50.00
A stubbie of Coopers light beer $11.00
We had been to this venue many times when it was the Achorage. Was then worth the drive from the Eastern suburbs.
