   We enjoyed our lunch very much. Portions were a good size and the food tasty. The pears were a little bland but that could be the season. The noise level was fine but we could see it could get quite noisy. We enjoyed the view over the marina. We would appreciate a padded seat. Sitting on a wooden chair for a couple of hours gets quite uncomfortable. Even the ones with a ratten seat were better. I pinched one from another table. The wait staff was prompt and pleasant. Overall a lovely lunch experience.

   A disappointing experience, only slightly better than a surf club. On arrival was great with no eye contact, and not welcoming . You staff member tried hard but lacked training in hospitality. Wine list needs updating all the Chardonnays we asked for were of different years, we were paying the same amount for a 2021 as a 2018.

   Very loud venue on the day we went. The waitress wasn’t very polished and unhelpful with menu suggestions. The food was nice but overall wasn’t blown away with the experience and ambience.

   Pre drinks outside, great music but way too loud to be able to talk. Menu very limited options. Wait staff friendly but didn’t really help with choices, knowledge about menu. Filled up water glasses, didn’t return to re-fill. Food was nice Was cold inside but booths were lovely. Overall pretty underwhelming. My view is, if you’re going to charge those prices you need to back it up with excellent service, menu and food. Probably won’t return

   We thought the venue was nice but it was way too noisy inside. Our waitress was pleasant. Sadly, the food was poor. We had the seafood platter. A lot of money $92, for not very much bland food. The 4 fresh prawns were tasty, the 2 scallops were ok. The 2 pieces of barramundi were greasy, damp & tasteless. We couldnt find the calamari at first. I though we had been given the scrappings from the frying basket at a chippy. It was chopped small & heavily coated in floury greasy seasoning that didnt taste nice. I think a previous review mentioned the 'salty' fries. We ate them all because we were hungry & had paid so much money we couldnt leave anything but the fries were way too salty, no actual potato taste. All i could think was that i could make better food at home, ive had much better food elsewhere & it was all overpriced. We thought we would experience top end tasty natural seafood, we didnt.

    The food is overpriced for what it actually tastes like. 6 of us all found our chosen meals underwhelming. Even the fries had a crazy amount of salt on them which was not edible.

    This was our first time in the restaurant and whilst we thought the decor was very nice the noise level hit us immediately and we found it very hard to hear each other speaking. Our waitress was friendly and helpful but we also found it hard to hear her. There was a private function at the other end of the bar so this was the main source of the noise. Because the whole restaurant is tiled there is no soft floor coverings to absorb the sound. Food service was efficient - my partner ordered the barramundi with a side of fries all of which was very tasty. I ordered 2 small plates, the pork belly which was only average as was the prawn dish. We also shared a mixed lettuce, raddicio and pear salad which was quite delicious.

    The restaurant is a beautiful building and I had great expectations walking in, especially after being recommended by a friend. We were seated and the table was very wet, so was the floor. We were also seated with every single other person in the restaurant in a little corner. Not to mention there was a flickering led light right outside the window which was extremely annoying. I could not understand first of all, why they would not spread people out a bit, and secondly, out of the whole restaurant why would you put everyone in a corner with a faulty light. The food came out very quickly but was not as great as we had hoped. We ordered the calamari which turned out to be mainly octopus and some other squishy deep fried item that fell apart when I touched it. We also ordered the seasonal greens which was so incredibly overpowering it felt like a slap in the face. I’m not usually one to complain but I genuinely feel that majority of these issues could have been easily avoided and shows poor management.

    Dinner was for 7pm, and felt like we were the last people eating and an afterthought. Cut of meat was terrible, and food felt somewhat cold. Never asked if we wanted additional drinks at all - again, felt an afterthought.

    Our first time visiting pier 33. Lovely fresh and vibrant surroundongs/decor. Welcoming staff and nice atmosphere. All of the food we ordered was of a very high standard. Great flavours and presentation. Delicious cocktails too! My only gripe was where we were sat.... We were down the stairs positioned right next to the open doors for the outside eating area. I'm presuming we were sat at this table to enjoy the view, but unfortunately with it being winter it was cold as the door was continually open with staff and other guests in and out all the time. I had to sit with my coat on for the entire meal and both me and my husband were cold by the time we left. On walking up the stairs to the main restaurant we could feel the warmth from up there hit us! I didn't ask to be moved as I could see on entering the restaurant that they were very busy and most likely didn't have anywhere else for us to sit! I would come back to eat as the food was great, but will be asking on booking to be away from the open doors!

    A large group booking right next to sit-down diners made it very loud. We found it difficult to be heard. Also, it would be good to have Gluten Free or GFO noted on the menu. They did a lot of things GF but we had to ask. Apart from that it is a nice restaurant.

    First time dining here. Thought we’d give it a try from a recommendation. Pretty disappointed to be honest. Won’t be going back. Husband and I shared the $90 seafood platter - it wasn’t much more than what you’d expect from a pub. Mostly deep fried. Our desert was nice and so was the champagne. Unfortunately, I don’t see what all the hype is about with this place though.

    Lovely fresh food and friendly service. A good selection of cocktails. Only downside is the noise. Needs more plants or soft furnishings to absorb the noise as it’s very loud and echoey. The design, layout and view are wonderful.

    The service was very good albeit the lovely waitress seemed over-anxious to take our order, whereas we like to relax with a few drinks before dinner, but she was very good. It was a little cold in the restaurant too.

    Beautiful venue with great food and service. Dined with our toddler and they couldn’t have been more helpful with high chair, pencils and paper to keep her occupied whilst we enjoyed a drink and dinner!

    Entering the restaurant, the setting & location was unbeivable. Being my wife's birthday thought a perfect place for lunch & had great expectation of a great lunch. Reading the menu was the first disappointment, limited maybe post covid, but "iffy" words used to outline various selections, many of which I have never seen in Sydney restaurants. My wife for the fish of the day just grilled, no additions or creamy sauce. Without checking with the chef said it could not be done. At the end to get the taste of a range of seafood we ordered the platter. What was on the platter, nice piece of plain grilled fish. Don't understand why it is on one dish but cannot have on another. The chips & awful deep fried calamari must have had a box of salt poured over them. They were far too salty to eat. waitress advised most people like alot of salt. The customer should be asked how much salt they would like or allow them to put it on themselves at the table. Not everyone likes salt. When asked about the meal by the waitress I told her about the salt & said she would tell the Chef. As she asked me a further two times how I liked the meal, would suggest the chef was not told. from a great expectation of a great lunch, turned into a great disappointment. Would we return is the question. While I will leave it to my friends to make their own decisions to go, I will certainly tell them of our experience. How this is taken as constructive criticism to allow for future positive outcomes.

    Disappointing experience last night. Food was overpriced. Service was average. Two dishes we ordered were forgotten. One came ten minutes after everyone else had received their meals and the other was never served. We weren't offered any condiments and had to ask for water. The guy we dealt with was great when we paid after we explained what happened and did give us a reduction in the bill but i expected much better.

    I have been here a few times as the restaurant is beautiful and has a great view of the marina. A little disappointed this time to be honest. Even though the restaurant was not busy and there were plenty of staff, service was really slow. The table beside us even got up a couple of times to go to the bar themselves to get drinks and to ask for their order to be taken. Given that staff were standing together and chatting, it didn't appear they were too busy. When we got service it was great, very professional and pleasant. I have had the scallop entree before and it was delicious, not this time, scallops were very soft and almost slimy. Prawns in brioche, yum! Absolutely recommend that to anyone.

    Food was good, service was a somewhat inattentive regarding re- filling water glasses as no table water was present. Apart from that it was an enjoyable night, good ambience and looking forward to returning again.

    Stunning location and a beautiful restaurant with fantastic cocktails but my $44 piece of fish with tomatoes was very overcooked so little disappointing and either they were short staffed or just more focused on a party group..
