A lovely restaurant and excellent food. I was there with elderly people though and it was too noisy.
Service was great
Beer glasses were flat
Price was good entree the highlight
Great restaurant , food and service. Also has a gluten free menu if requested. Just gets a little noisy at times when busy which makes it hard to hear.
Great service and delicious food in an amazing setting. Will definitely be going back.
Service was exceptional and food was good but not reflective of the price. Don’t go there if you want to have a conversation, I’m only 29 and could not hear the person next to me.
Was great little to much noise tho
Staff Ashley was lovely and explained menu well
First time there we will be back
Excellent food and service
A beautiful outlook
Overall a nice night. Had an inside booth which wasn’t as nice as a table looking at the water.
Our last dinner at Pier 33 was much better all round.
Having dined at sister restaurants ,Rick Shores and Little Valley , we had high expectations. Unfortunately we were sadly disappointed. The poor service from inexperienced staff, average food quality and it’s presentation were the main contributors. The fit out is done well, however would suggest cushions on the hard wired seats. The view from the restaurant is stunning .
Amazing location and food
Great venue. Works for large gatherings and small family get togethers. Love the outdoor area and the live band was fabulous. The most enjoyable part is there is a wonderful feeling of space in the main restaurant area allowing the view from the marina and the layout of the dining area to complement each other so well. Please don't change it !
After reading the menu online, I decided that Pier 33 would work to satisfy the seafood-loving members of the family, alongside one of our sons who is allergic to shellfish. Unfortunately, when we arrived and read the menu, it became apparent that 2 of the large plate dishes that would have suited him were not on the menu, and as such his options were quite limited. The lovely French waitress indicated that the website had not been updated for some time.
Despite some reservations, we ordered what we thought would work for everyone. Our small plates came out quite promptly but the 45 minute wait for the large plates was too much. The non-seafood option of beetroot gnocchi (which we'd ordered to come out with the mains) was below par and when we asked to take home the remaining seafood paella - we'd lost our appetite after such a long wait - we were refused because of the fact that it was seafood and rice. To their credit they didn't charge us for our $45 bottle of wine, but overall, the experience at Pier 33 was ordinary, and will be my last here.
This place is an absolute delight! Great ambience and atmosphere... Who could beat the beautiful location! They were slightly understaffed on the night we went but they went above and beyond to accommodate people and we even scored a round of drinks and a booth for dinner even though it was only the two of us for the slight inconvenience... Not to mention the outstanding food and drinks! I’ll be back next time I’m up the coast, that is for sure!!
Everything was brilliant! Will be coming back for sure!
Beautiful location great food
The staff were professional and friendly, my table was never short on drinks and the food was excellent.
Overall very happy even had live music.
Amazing food, great location, relaxed atmosphere. Great vibe. Great place.
Pier 33 is one those places you feel at relax and enjoy the view. The food is good and service is great. It’s a bit pricey but worth the experience of eating there. Only fault to mention with pier 33 is the acoustics of restaurant because the ceiling are high and having a open plan space the noise level is high and it can hard to have conversation .
The biggest let down for Pier 33 is the noise level, I actually use my Apple Watch to measure and it ranged from 80-90 dB in the dining area while we were eating. However, the food was great, venue is great.
I would recommend, but warn friends of the noise levels.
If you can afford it, the Pier 33 experience is well worthwhile. This is my second visit and both have been most enjoyable. Will go again when able to afford it probably once or twice a year. Wealthy friends attend more often and are always satisfied.
I was very impressed when we walked in by the surroundings. The noise from the bar area however was extremely loud and off-putting to talk with my guests. The menu were given to us and the print was so small you could not read it. It was about a font size of 7 or 8 and the entire menu was squeezed onto the one page, which is not very helpful. We ordered the share paella and it was very disappointing for the cost. The salad was excellent as was the bread but the olive oil and balsamic was totally insufficient for the number of guests and the amount of bread. The wine was also very good. The desert of profiteroles was supposed to be warm but came out cold and without much taste. I paid almost $200 for three persons and it was not worth it.
Great place , beautiful restaurant and bar and outside bar area looking on to yacht wharf. Went twice in our 5 day stay.
Share plate mains excellent for two or three people. Fettuccine with prawns and clams very nice indeed , and the entre scallops are excellent.
Good cocktails as well.
Have already recommended to a mate who is going to Mooloolaba in January.
Pier 33 was a stunning location, make sure you get there before sunset and watch the colours change over the water as you enjoy your drink. The food was delicious with fresh ingredients and subtle flavours. The restaurant had a coastal/hamptons feel and was light and airy. The music was great and although it was busy we enjoyed the buzz of the atmosphere. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to visit again.
Amazing - best dining and view on the coast - friendly staff speedy service and the most delicious drinks x
I will be recommending to my friends not to go to 33.
The noise level was intolerable . My wife who has good hearing could not understand what the waitress was saying NOISE NOISE . The old restaurant at Mooloolaba Yacht Club was so much better.
I have never been to a restaurant ( cafe ?) where the main course was served before the entree. EVER.
This was pub food at its worst and an ambience of a food court at a veery noisy shopping centre.
The sooner you go out of business and get a new owner who can provide a decent restauarant experience the better.
Oh Na have a good day !
,super efficient staff ,delicious meals and good value, what more can I say.
This joint is situated on the edge of the Mooloolaba Marina and is a BIG favourite of mine.
Terrific location for a long weekend lunch.
Most dishes here are designed to share which is great way for friends and family to dine when time and wine have no limits👌🍷🍷
The produce is up with the best the Sunshine Coast Regions can offer.

Service was amazing & a great location! Service was quick and the food was delicious!
We chose the paella, served between two.
Well prepared and delivered flavours of Spain.
The waitress was attentive very friendly.
In all a wonderful evening.
Would return again and soon.
Great location and great value for premium food!!!
Way too noisy in the restaurant would not return. Food was ok but not really worth the price.
We had a lovely night. Food and service top rate. We took some older friends there for the night and did find the noise level a bit too loud. Had trouble enjoying a conversation . Ended up going outside on the deck for a few drinks.
Recommend perhaps for drinks, whilst meal was tasty - wasn't that good with the quantity & ingredients for share plate for the price.
Limited menu for those dining in a couple but good for large groups. Music very loud on a Saturday for diners
Always love coming to Pier 33! It is a lovely feel, great views & sophisticated!
the overall appearance was excellent food was first class
service was very good meal sizes were large
noise level was a bit to loud for my liking
prices we about par for the meals size and would recommend it to friends
A perfect place to go with friends or as a couple. All of our experiences here have been amazing! So much so that we’re getting married at Pier33 in December!
Beautiful restaurant. Decor is stunning. Service was excellent. A little pricey and you can only select a share plate as a main.
Great location. Good food and wine
Service wasn’t anything special but the waitress herself, was very informative.
Would go back to try more dishes.
So glad to hear you are having live music, it will really add to the experience.
