Pickett's Village Bar
Great outdoor COVID safe dining. Nice patio with plenty of heaters for cooler weather. Food, drinks, service great as always. A little on the pricey side.
Pickett’s has done a great job with the outdoor seating. They have put together the kind of casual, family-friendly neighborhood pub that Maplewood/Millburn really needed. Simple food of excellent quality.
Great outdoor space, good basic food and a delicious Negroni.
The establishment looks great, the food is good as well as the drinks. A bit pricey as most businesses are trying to recover from the effects of the pandemic. An overall good experience.
Food is fresh and consistently good
Can’t wait to go back to try more on the menu.
Great experience as always. Our server Kenya was outstanding Nick as usual checks in as the evening progresses. Highly recommend the venue.
Great venue for an outdoor meal.
Creative pub food.
Another great meal at Picketts! Service is friendly, as always... this time I tried the steak tacos, which were perfectly cooked and yummy! Great selection of beers on tap, and the outdoor patio with heat lamps was very comfortable.
Delightful experience !
We are looking forward to trying other dishes soon.
Had another good dinner here! The calamari again did not disappoint and the pizza was excellent!
Good time. Plenty of room. first indoor dining since Covid outbreak. kudos to wait staff and Nick for there presence
We sat outside which was set up with picnic style tables and plenty of heaters. Our server was terrific and the food was excellent. Will definitely be back!
My husband and I enjoyed our experience. We will definitely return soon! We shared Caesar salad and calamari app- would rec both. He had steak sandwich and I had mushroom Swiss burger- both were good but next time I’d try a more classic burger with less toppings. Pizzas looks good- people were having in restaurant and noticed lots of to-go! The outside setup is cozy. We’ll be back and definitely will try the pizza!!
My daughter and I had the best time at Picketts. We got lucky with a table outside on a beautiful night and the heat lamps and ambiance were great. The service was also wonderful. Our waitress checked on us often. The food was delicious. Love that place!
Great local place with outdoor seating and heaters, and great fish tacos!
We booked a patio table, wanting to be seated outdoors, because 2/3 friends were not fully vaccinated for Covid yet. We arrived on time and were told that “squatters” had taken our table, were not likely to be leaving anytime soon, and that we were welcome to dine indoors. Not cool.
Our waiter was good and attentive, food was fine. The maitre d’s mask was loose and gapping at the nose, rendering it more or less useless.
The experience was comme çi comme ça, we should probably have left when we couldn’t have our outdoor table I had booked a full week in advance, when the weather forecast was for a warm 65° that evening.
If you can reserve a table outside, it should be there for you, reserved, when you arrive, otherwise why bother taking reservations?
We love Pickett's. Great quality and perfect service every time.
Good craft beer selection, very good wings and burgers. Service is excellent as is the ambiance. Can’t wait to be able to sit at the bar.
Reliable and tasty food. Great service and great vibe.
The drinks are so slight a pour at Picketts ... For a ginormous price! It never ceases to amaze me, especially during Covid and now are serving a "smidge" in a plastic glass. I was also served a cosmopolitan in a clear plastic dime-store cup the other evening... The least they could have done is make it more appealing by serving it in a plastic wine tumbler. Same prices as when served in a martini glass when we were inside, and FAR more disappointing. NOT good
Love your Manager, Nick. He always gets an A+ from us!
No social distancing whatsoever
Picketts is handling the outdoor dining/pandemic thing really well -- I was very comfortable there and will be back!
Thanks to all the staff at Picketts for a enjoyable and delicious evening. The food, esp the cobb salad, was really good; service was friendly and efficient; and the team working made every effort to provide a safe environment. We will definitely be back.
We sat outside on the patio which is a very comfortable and pleasant outdoor setting. Tables are large and well spaced which is very important. They also have heaters in between all tables which as Fall approaches is essential for those of us still not ready to eat indoors. We shared guacamole and I had a turkey burger and my husband had the salmon. All was very tasty.
This is one of my favorite neighborhood spots for good food, good vibes and professional service.
Love this place. Outdoor space is awesome and beer selection isngreat
Our family hasn’t dined out since March and we heard Pickett’s outdoor setup had a good socially distanced set up, so we decided to try it cuz we missed their food. It was an awesome experience. The hostess and owner were so accommodating and friendly and the service and food were wonderful as always. It almost felt normal.
Good cocktails and food, excellent service. Great live music and outdoor setup. Excellent covid safety protocols.
Food was average, wait staff made mistakes on order and food is over priced relative to other area restaurants.
Good vibes, great service and fun menu. Can’t wait to go back.
We love the Friday afternoons outdoor vibe with the bands and food trucks. The beer on tap is also really solid.
It was a quiet Sunday evening- the outdoor seating was nicely arranged and the standing heaters perfect. There was a semi view of the golf course as well. The food was good and beer options plenty. The only thing I miss, and it's only because of COVID is real plates and not paper ones. I'd definitely go back!
Good meal, great beer selection. Service was great. Kid friendly too.
Nice neighborhood place that will satisfy foodies and regulars. Good drinks menu.
We were pleasantly surprised at how great this restaurant is- and wish we had found it sooner! Highly recommend this for families or as a night out. The food is excellent. The only reason service is rated low is because two people at my table had food allergies and the server did not seem well-versed in understanding how to speak to the chef or double check ingredients. That said, the gluten free pizza (which we confirmed several times was actually really gluten free) was by far the best in the area. Will definitely be back!
We love the pizza and the outdoor area in the Back is great (looks into the golf course). with awesome heat lamps. We were warm on a chilly eve.
I definitely recommend! (This was our 4th visited and all were great).
The Mexican Street Corn appetizer was excellent. The onion rings were way overcooked (dry through).
My wife's entree (enchiladas) was fine, mine (pork schnitzel) was designed wrong, prepared wrong and basically inedible.
The outdoor dinning tent was nice but the tables are definitely NOT 6’ apart. Burgers were expensive and not amazing, they were good and ok but not worth the $22. Mexican corn app was 2 ears of corn for $10. That seemed a little steep. For all this taps beer selection could’ve included more unusual beers. And my food was 10 minutes delayed, not sure why. Our server came by to check on our meal and I had to remind him of what I ordered and ask where it was. Could’ve been better.
Great food and service with great price. Outside seating under a tent. We couldn’t push tables together due to COVID, but we’re still able to talk to the second half of our party. Will definitely be here again
Wonderful outdoor dining option. Fun family environment. Excellent variety of food.
Used to love this place, until I went on Thursday night with a group of girlfriends. Reservation was at 8:15. The waitress comes over to the table as soon as we sit and says food orders are stopping at 8:30 and the bar is closing at 8:45. These are not there listed or communicated hours. I understand it had been raining on and off that day, but we honored the reservation we made and showed up as good patrons and it had stopped raining and turned out okay weather wise. We were obviously not treated as such though. Before it was even time for them to close, they played the song Closing Time” loudly and shut the lights off on us. They lost a lot of good patrons that night.
