Had a table of 7 and all chose different main course size pasta meals. All enjoyed their dishes and BYO’d our wine. Didn’t venture to antipasto etc or desert so can’t comment on those.
Staff went out of their way to prepare a meal that suited one at our table who has a very limited range of choices due to medical condition.
Will all be going back there.

Our group of ten thoroughly enjoyed the lunch here.
We were well cared for by the staff and the food was great.
My grading of the service was slightly lower only because at one stage, things slowed down a lot!

Definitely will return.

Really helpful staff especially Jade who was extremely helpful in organising the orders (staggered attendance of guests) and ensuring the cake was stored and brought out when needed. Food was lovely - especially from a large family that can be very critical and great value for money based on the serving sizes, variety and great ambiance even though it was a busy night due to Friday night football.

Great location to grab a delicious meal before the footy. Pizza was delicious and hubby was super impressed with the Veal Parmigiana.

I really enjoyed the Funghi and found the Pizza to be very good. Several drink orders took more than 15 minutes to come to the table and it was not busy.

The staff were very friendly though and I would definitely be going back.

Food was great. Service was hit and miss. We sat outside in a party of 4 and had to sit at 2 separate tables because the tables were so small and bolted to the floor - did not make for comfortable seating and made it very awkward to interact with our friends.

I chose this restaurant to celebrate a special day. I called and asked for some dietary requirement (probably I was not making it clear enough), they said they would get back to me soon, but they never.
The food was not too bad. However when we found a bug in our pasta, the staff was indifferent and wasn't customer service oriented to solve the problem

Mid week lunch, several wines by the glass not available with no flexibility to provide a like alternative. Food was fair, service clunky.

Booked for 4 people, ushered to a table set for 6 --shows lack of attention to detail.
Had our order taken, then 3/4 hour later waitress returned saying there was a mix up in kitchen and needed to retake food order. 3/4 hour later a differnt waiting staff member
asked to take again our food order as there was a problem. She appologised and sent a piza bread item complimentary (the offering wasn't worth eating)
The food arrived 2 hours after our order had first been taken....cold pasta and cold fried fish. Other aspects of the restuarant experience were also poor. No backround music on arrival, beverage order not delivered (was corrected), wrong cutlery (twice for the main that I had ordered)

We had a booking for 3. Excited as we had read great reviews and it was dinner for my birthday. Shown to our table in a little alcove under the stairs. Very cute and comfortable. We ordered some water for the table, good quality bottle of white wine ($90) and a beer for my husband, as well as The Feed Me menu. Water didn't come very quickly at all....after visiting the bathroom, saw the said beer waiting on the bar with an icy glass. Assumed it was destined for our table but didn't want to just grab it. When the wine, beer and water finally arrived, our waitress who was very helpful, poured 2 glasses of the wine and set the bottle down on the table. We asked for an ice bucket which came promptly but with no ice, received this after asking again. Asked for information on the feed me menu. Two prices were listed $45 and $65. The explanation was that the cheaper option had one less course. We went with the $65. The first course included oysters and arancini balls which were really nice but there was a prawn dish included, no idea what it was with 3 pieces of bread on it. The prawns smelt, stupidly I ate one and the texture was awful. I think that they were old or not defrosted properly. We did not eat anymore of them. The rest of the meal was so so and there was not much explanation of what we were eating or what the feed me menu included. After what we believe was the last of the main courses, we decided to leave. After paying the bill, we think that we were only charged $45 for the feed me menu but happy to leave and wont be back.

This is a great place for a family dinner. Worst thing we can say is the portion size might be a bit lacking depending on what your uses to.

Pricey for what was served. Husbands fish and calamari was tough and his whole dish was far too salty.

It was a really lovely meal. We enjoyed the tasting menu and found everything really delicious, well seasoned and good balance of flavours.

Greeting into the restaurent was welcoming, The service was outstanding, The food menu was exeptional, a great choice and very authentic.
The table undeer the stair case is a little gem, very cosy for a group of four and romantic for a couple.

Mostly, the evening waa great. The food and service were excellent. The prices were reasonable. The band that was playing was way too loud and caused an unpleasant atmosphere. It was so loud that the waitress misheard us and mistakenly did not take our order correctly.

Veal special and Gnocci Ragu were out of this world. Will certainly be back soon.
The live band created a wonderful atmosphere and the waitress was lovely, there was also a chocolate rose on our table for Valentine's Day which was an unexpected and lovely touch.

The food is amazing!!! All of had a different meal but each one was delicious!!! I really can't say enough how tasty the food was.
Service was so friendly, they were very busy so service was a tad slow but after seeing them all running around you didn't mind..they would still manage to pop by and ask if everything was OK. I definitely recommend this place!! We will be back!

If I could assign 6 stars I would! Thank you Piccoli Piatti for making our evening special. The table in a romantic little nook complete with candles was a perfect start. Our waitress gave us the perfect balance of being attentive to our needs, and giving us time to enjoy our evening without being "checked on" too frequently. The food was amazing - best garlic bread we've ever tasted and steaks cooked to perfection - but the piece de resistance was the pavlova for dessert - AMAZING - highly recommended, and a lovely end to our special evening. We will definitely be back, thank you!

We shared the Chef's Antipasto platter and a dozen Oysters Kilpatrick and each of us had different mains. All of us really enjoyed the food and service.

What a find! A walk up from the new Oval hotel to this lovely restaurant. Fresh decor with a converted home makes for much more intimate dining than a big noisy hall! We felt welcome. Loved the drink and food choices and the unhurried approach to our meal experience. Thank you. We have recommended to many and will be back.

Very good experience. Allowed our group the time and space to enjoy each other and the ambience of the place. Very accommodating.

Staff were friendly and flexible. Food was nice, we just had some nibbles with a glass of wine.
Casual, relaxed, friendly and fairly priced with great service. Will go again for similar casual catch up with friends.
