Second time in 2 weeks. Good food at reasonable prices (for Seattle)
It was good.
Piatti has a great menu including happy hour special pricing. We had a small book group and some people ordered appetizers such as caesar salad and polenta fries and some had pasta and salad entrees. The service was very friendly and our server gave us each separate checks on request. They also have a very nice wine and cocktail list. We sat in the room with the fireplace - it was very cozy next to the fireplace on a rainy night!
I'm so happy to hear your group enjoyed themselves - our cozy fireplace is very popular! I'm happy to hear everyone enjoyed the Happy Hour selections in addition to our full menu. I'll be sure to share your kind words with our team. We're all looking forward to seeing you again soon. Cheers, Erin GM
The seared tuna dish was excellant and the best I have ever had!
We're happy to hear you enjoyed your Ahi Tuna Salad! We look forward to seeing you again soon. Cheers, Erin GM
Everyone in my group enjoyed their food, & our server was great- attentive without hovering. My spiked cocoa was delicious. However, we all agreed that the brunch menu is quite lacking in choices. There should be at least one omelette choice, & a french toast &/or waffle option.
I had the lemon ricotta pancakes, which were nicely light & tasty, but I could not detect either lemon or ricotta! How about adding blueberries or chocolate chips?
There definitely needs to be additions to the menu. I hope to see some changes made, so my group will want to brunch there again!
Hi Claudia, I'm happy to hear your group had a such fun Brunch! That's exactly what we're striving for. Thank you for the constructive feedback on the Brunch selections, I'll be sure to share with Chef Dylan in an effort to improve our menu standards. We do rotate our menus seasonally, so we'll keep this in mind with our next round of selections. I do hope you'll join us again soon! Cheers, Erin GM
Always a great place for lunch!

Celebrating a friend’s book publication
Congrats to your friend & cheers to you for helping them celebrate the accomplishment! Thanks for celebrating with us, we appreciate it. Cheers, Erin GM
I met an old friend for dinner. I looked at the online menu and saw salmon. I don’t know what they served me but it was hard and rubber like. I should have just spoken up and had them replace it. My fault for not saying something. Nice space and great service. I would return even though my first experience wasn’t good. My buddy had steak and he said it was delicious.
Hi Vinnie, Unfortunately Salmon season left us the week you dined with us, we were serving Mahi Mahi at that time. I'm sorry to hear you did not enjoy your meal, that's certainly not our standard. I'd like to be able to make it up to you. Could you please contact me directly at #206-524-9088 or you can shoot me an email at eflynnatpiattidotcom I look forward to speaking with you. My Best, Erin GM
Piatti is a great place for friends to have lunch and conversation. They are attentive but leave you alone and don't rush you. The tables are far enough apart that conversations are easily heard. The food is very good and the menu varies slightly from time to time to make it interesting. The price is reasonable.
Had the clam dish and it was outstanding as was the starter Caesar Salad - we will come back!
Pricey but food is yummy
Nice late dinner after a Husky volleyball game. The restaurant was not as loud as it can be when it’s more crowded, which we liked. The food and service were great.
Glad to see Piatti on OpenTable, so made a reservation for a Saturday night. We arrived and were promptly seated at our table. The ambiance was casual and relaxed with dim lighting. Highly recommend the focaccia bread. Warm and freesh. We three enjoyed our meals: Margherita flatbread, Tortellini and Campanelle. We would return next time in Seattle.
The food and service was excellent, as always. I really like what they’ve done with the decor as well, very nice.
We sat outside and all outdoor seating offers blankets which is great for keeping comfy! The food is amazing. the menu is seasonal and I specifically wanted gnocchi that I had during summer, but it’s not on their fall menu so I tried the ravioli and it was also so good.
Had a little gathering of high school friends before going to a reunion and enjoyed a delightful lunch and great service. Everyone loved their dishes...salads, breakfast sandwich and frittata. Piati's never disappoints!
Lovely summer evening to dine outside at Piatti. The tables weren't too close and the music wasn't too loud. We could easily converse with our out-of-town guests. Our waiter, Michael, was the best. And his recommendations were most helpful. The mushroom risotto was a hit and the mango sorbet was the best I've had in a long time. We will definitely come back.
Food was not properly cooked.
Everything was for the most part great. Had a very dirty fork in my utensils. Service was a bit slow for what seemed like a quiet evening but the server was very nice so that was okay.
Awesome service, great focaccia, loved the Pinot Gris and will be back when I’m in Seattle again.
Our waiter was friendly and very helpful with a good sense of humor. The birthday girl felt very special. The birthday tomato sorbet was surprisingly good. Love sitting by the fireplace
The restaurant is at a great location i.e. UW village. You can take a nice walk checking out the stores after dinner
The restaurant was not crowded, yet the service was quite slow. The server seemed to disappear for long periods of time. It took forever to get the bill, and then we waited for several minutes for the server to return with the credit card slips for signature.
My in laws were in town from TN and they love Italian food so we took them to Piatti! Marshall, our server, was excellent with suggestions and overall service. Definitely a fave and we are happy to make many returns!
This is a neighborhood restaurant for us, so we go there more frequently than some. A nice, casual but classy spot. Food is always good, service is warm and professional.
I have visited Piatti in the past and it is normally good but this recent visit, it was just okay.
It could be the dish I ordered, I ordered the Porchetta and it was 40% fat and the side vegetable
was overcooked and salty. The service was good. I would probably give it another try but wouldn't be
ordering the Porchetta.
Service was really great!
Great food also had a party of 9 for luncheon next day.
Our server Meghan was outstanding. Had dinner that night and our server for both dinners was Nikki. She is GREAT.
Delicious food, plus a thoughtfully provided glass of wine at no charge after the first one spilled
Perfect place to meet friends for lunch on a Saturday. Great menu for lunch items and brunch.
Food was served hot and our waiter was very attentive. The wood fire pizza is a must try!
Piattis used to one of my favs. Went there for lunch and all 4 of us were disappointed in our food. Service was just OK. Our waiter was slammed.
Piatti was great! Loved the risotto special (with Italian sausage and mushrooms) and the pizza! The restaurant has a nice aesthetic and my server was also great (knowledgeable and attentive - no waiting for anything). Definitely exceeded my expectations and prices were surprisingly reasonable for the experience. I would highly recommend!
It was so unbelievably hot inside the restaurant! Everything else was perfect.
I love Piatti. The food is always dependable. Lovely placr
Frequent guest at Piatti - food always good. We caught them on an off night service wise though - 10 mins after seating to get drinks ordered, slow delivery and trying to pay and get out was painful.
Food was tasty but portion sizes super small both on the happy hour and regular menu.
We went to Piatti a bit early, arriving at 5 o'clock.....and it was a warm, sunny day so we sat outside seating area which was lovely! The food was excellent and, because we arrived before 6pm, we were able to enjoy the selections on the Happy Hour Menu!! Excellent taste and what a GREAT value!! The service was so-so...it got quite busy in the sunshine as more and more diners arrived -- which likely explains why the service slacked towards the end. Overall it was wonderful and we will certainly go back!
Pizza was over cooked and dry
Several friends have started having regular lunches at Piatti. The menu is varied and reasonably priced. The food is consistent and very good. The restaurant, at lunch time, is quiet enough to hold a conversation. The wait staff is not bothered by the fact that we linger over our lunch. All in all, we have a very pleasant experience.
