The original Duntroon homestead of the nineteenth century included a number of outbuildings and a conservatory. These building forms have been reinterpreted in our own Garden Pavilions.

The Garden Pavilions are oriented to provide magnificent views of the Estate’s Vineyards, Olive Grove and Canberra’s skyline featuring Parliament House and Black Mountain tower. Our Garden Pavilions are designed to be enjoyed year round in climate controlled comfort.

The Garden Pavilions are open for a la carte diningas well as private functions. They feature a beautiful fresh menu that showcases seasonal produce from our gardens and other locally sourced products.

This place is so gorgeous and venue was perfect for Valentine’s Day... however for the price of the food I was very underwhelmed. The actual meals were cooked nicely but we were made to share every single plate of food for the 5 courses leaving us hungry after the dinner. Service was lovely, however it felt as though they were trying to rush us out as they would leave it no longer than a minute before each course. We ended up telling the waitress we were going for a walk just to hold off on the food coming out so quick.. otherwise we would have been in and out in half an hour... not great for a Valentine’s romantic dinner

It’s a really beautiful location, very nice setup. Food was nice and fresh organic ingredients. Taste was good but everything was cold and took forever to get our meals. Service was not good, only two girls on floor, mixup orders, and like i said very slow service. Very bad music selection and to loud

Food was good but the service was extremely slow with almost an hour before entree was served and another hour before we got main course. It is a lovely venue and the staff are firendly and apologetic bt thats a little long to wait especially at lunchtime.

We were made most welcome from our arrival: warm and convivial, happy to see returning diners. It was a warm Sunday, so the Pavilion gardens were busy - our service was so cheerful and attentive, not too frequent, nor too fast, as we just wanted to enjoy slow food and wines. (Tia is a great ambassador for you, with obvious knowledge and pride in your products and service.) Entrees were wonderful, stuffed zuccinis, beautifullyflavoured and presented. Mains, delightful and very cleverly done by the French chef; smoke from the chicken, sweetness in sweet potato, salt from saltbush, spice in chorizo with a lovely sweet whisky glaze - and my wife loved her Silver Dory and fresh greens. We deliberately enjoyed the Pialligo estate wines - Prosecco, Pinot Gris, Sangiovese. A cheese plate to finish was enhanced by a sip of local Baldwin rye whisky, surprisingly sweet and mellow. We will definitely be back soon with overseas visitors.

Had a great lunch at Pialligo Estate. It was a hot day, so we sat inside - however the Aircon was on high and i was sitting in a very cold spot with the fan directly on me.

We were welcomed as we arrived which was very nice.We had a lovely table to the side of the main eating area. The menu was explained well.We chose a platter with a mixture of meat ,salmon and pickles. There were 4 of us.I We all thought there could have been a lot more. There were 4 pieces of small hard pieces of breadstick.I think a basket of different breads would have been nicer. We shared some plates which were all very nice. The desert choice was great. We hada lovely local Rose.

We went for lunch on a 38 degree day and it was great in the "little rooms" off the main outside dining area. The service was very good. It was noisy but that was because everyone was in the air-conditioned areas rather than outside in the 38 degrees. I've added it to my list of places to go and recommend to others.

Had a fantastic family lunch. Loved the new outdoor area. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It's hard to believe that it is only 5kms to the city. It feels like you are on a vineyard in the middle of nowhere. So beautiful. Loved it!

My mother and I were terribly disappointed in the overall narrow meal selection and presentation of the meals. Previously, we could not have found fault. However, this time, it is our experience that Cafes present the meals better and at a fraction of the cost.

The best and freshest food grown locally with knowledgeable and friendly staff make this the best indoor/outdoor venue in Canberra that caters for all food groups. The food is fresh with the beef cheeks the best we’ve ever eaten. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Exceptional service as always. The attention to detail and personal service is always appreciated. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We enjoyed smoked salmon as a starter which was a perfect accompaniment for the Pialligo Estate Riesling. Mains were steak with pepper sauce and pork served with sweet potato, carrot and broccolini side dishes. To finish we enjoyed Eton Mess which is our fav dessert on the menu. Perfect to share after such a satisfying meal.

I can highly recommend Pialligo Estate for fine dining and wonderful service. We also had a perfect view of an impressive storm with lightening and intermittent heavy rain, an added bonus to a perfect evening.

We celebrated a 70th birthday here with 5 people and everything was just perfect. The service and the food were exceptional.
The variety of share plates provided a wide range of interesting tastes.
Service was well paced and staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and the different cooking methods of the foods.
The building was cool (it was a 40 degree day!)
The cost is very reasonable.
Highly recommend this place and will definitely return soon.

All 3 bookings for the night put into one pavillion making it very noisy. Wait staff needed constant reminders for drinks, plates (yes really, plates) etc. Staff keen for us to leave from about 9pm and then all lights turned off on all outside areas at 10pm - hardly late for a Friday night, especially when a private party was still rocking on strong. This lack of lighting actually made it quite dangerous when we were trying to leave.
Food was lovely but not sure I'd bother going back.

Food was wonderful. Wines were great & therefore we were amazed to NOT find them listed in "Halliday"!
One 'stuff-up' occurred in otherwise great service, when our main course was given to another table by different waitress! However, we waited patiently and were rewarded by the quality of our food.
There was an obvious error in our bill at the end, but after waiting around at the cash register for a while, it was eventually all sorted out.

Bit disappointing as we had such a great experience the last time we visited pialigo farmhouse. Whilst the food was still good, the service was disappointing. It was slow, disjointed and the staff seemed stressed and disorganised. We had to wait over 30minutes for a beer, and it wasn’t even busy. Our section had five tables and it felt a little crammed, we could hear other tables’ conversations and the ambient music wasn’t turned on until later in the evening. As mentioned above, the food was still good, but it certainly wasn’t the fine dining experience we had come to expect from pialigo and was overpriced considering the overall experience. We won’t be returning to the pavilions!

My fiancé and I enjoyed a delicious lunch for an early birhday present! The food was excellent, and cooked beautifully. We loved the roast chicken and sweet potatoes, as well as smoked salmon, chorizo and roast duck to start. Due to renovations, there were noisy trucks and a lot of dust around the area which was not enjoyable. However, the overall experience was lovely. Thank you!
