P.F. Chang's - Providence

Always have had a great experience but this time was different. We ordered apps and main courses. The main course came before the apps so we made them take them back. When we were done with our apps they brought back the same main courses and they were ice cold. We just took them to go. I hope for a better experience next time.

Filled Uber eats orders but left sit down customers waiting for hours without being served. Never seen such a mismanaged restaurant. I’m not exaggerating, it was brutal!

Seating booth bench was unbalanced and wobbly. Hostess was going to seat us in the middle of the dining room but we refused. She graciously sat us in a booth off to the side of the restaurant.

Great dinner. Good service and food! Appreciated the manager checking in with us before we ordered. She was able to help my indecisive girlfriend make her choice easy.

The server was new and did the best of his ability. The manager also was quite nice and apologized for the lack of service based on their kitchen. Our soup arrived to the table after our entrees were half finished. And the excuse was that the chef had to make the wontons by hand! In a bowl of soup for 6 guests we received 3 total dumplings (not wontons mind you.) And the servfer let us know the chef said to tell us "3 dumplings was the best he could do!"

Love their Chicken Lettuce Wraps... I can eat them every day of my life....LOL. The service was very good as well.

Have dined there in the past, pre Covid. Food was mediocre, poor quality chicken & salmon. Was disappointed.

I always come here with my wife. Love the food and service. Dumplings are delish. Also try their strawberry cucumber drink!

Food was enjoyable, but service was lackluster.

We love PF Chang's and have been here plenty of times. Our concerns this time were beyond horrible. All of the food came out at different times, food was wrong and somewhat cold, some food was forgotten and our server never cleaned the table unless I said we need more room as things came out. They never had a manager stop by and tried to offer free desert for issues with service the kitchen the food and overall treatment. Not happy at all and may never go back.

Could there be a more overrated restaurant anywhere? After having to wait ten minutes for a table (and that was WITH a reservation), we were shoe-horned into what has to be one of the smallest tables for two ever dreamed up by the fevered imagination of a corprate bean counter. The food was tasteless and unimaginative even before it was oversalted and overcooked.

My advice: avoid this place. Providence is a wonderful restaurant town. Don't waste your money at this disgraceful excuse for a restaurant.

While our meal was excellent as always, we were disappointed with our waitress. She brought our wine and left it to us to pour it in our glasses. She came by once at the end of our entrees to see how we were doing. We wouldn't mind if the restaurant was crowded - so she did not have an abundance of customers. As noted, this lack of service was unusual so we wu be back.

Service was OK for being slow. Food is always consistent and good.

Unfortunately this place has gone so downhill. It’s like a chili’s for Asian food.

Great food!

Visited the first time for my boyfriends birthday because we received a gift card. Went on a Sunday night at 7pm and it was very quiet. Ordered the calamari, tuna roll, and steamed dumplings, both ramens for entrees, and the banana wonton dessert. Everything was amazing, although I did wish the ramen had more layers of flavor. Our server was very attentive and the restaurant seemed clean and well decorated. Would definitely go back.

Service was good on a busy Friday night before the PC-Butler Basketball Game. The entrees of Mongolian Beef and Beef LoMein were excellent but in lesser amounts than previously. However, two disappointments: First the bar doesn’t stock Seagram whiskey products and the second and more disappointing matter, was the quality and quantity of one of their signature appetizers, the chicken lettuce wrap. Small lettuce leaves, sparse chicken, and no sauce at all for a cost of $10.50.
We will not even consider the lettuce wraps again and hopefully the same changes are not applied to other signature appetizers or entries. Little changes make a huge difference in the highly competitive RI restaurant business.

Fun place for a wide variety of Asian-themed dishes. Not wildly inventive or cutting edge, but fabulous selection.

PFs is bona fide American Comfort Food. Lettuce rolls have entered the vocabulary. This is one place you can take your mother or your date or the date your partner doesn’t know about and it all woks.

Service was terrible. Waitress didn’t clear table, we had no silverware, napkins, or chop sticks for sushi- we had to eat it with our hands. Asked for silverware 3 times. Bar took forever to make drinks. Never again!

Rather loud as the Christmas crowds were in full force. Food was great as usual, service was great considering the volume.

National and International chain restaurants are usually successful due to their consistency. This PF Chang's in Providence is hit or miss.

Last time I ate there.....I showed up with my Open Table reservation and got seated (but my Open Table points did not get credited !!!! - It took 2 phone calls the day after to finally get them taken care of......).
Several people passed by me for about 10 minutes, no one said, I will be right with you, no greeting, no smile, nothing. The main dining area only had about 10 tables with about 2 guests per table average...so it was not really busy at all......

Eventually my waitress came, I placed the order and got my meal. The lady that looks like the manager never came to see how the meal was nor I saw her checking on other tables. The food was good, but the chicken lettuce wrap now has like 90% fried noodles and just a light topping of minced chicken..... When I got my check, no fortune cookies. I had to get them myself on my way out........

Sometimes the service is good, sometimes it lacks.... Overall customer service training would make this location a much better franchise.

PF Chang’s continues to change their menu often eliminating our favorites. We tried some of the newer items and found them mediocre in flavor and quality. The calamari was over breaded and chewy. The bulgogi Steak and shrimp with lobster sauce were unremarkable.

Great customer service handling my son’s food allergies!

We booked a week in advance and upon arrival had a really poor experience. The host stated ‘oh you made a reservation? On what open table?’ Then she asked us to just sit at the community table (not 6 seats) since they don’t check open table for reservations. Our server was awesome, food was fine but when you have tickets to attend something and plan ahead only to find out they don’t honor them was super disappointing. They ended up craning 6 adults at a table for 4. If we didn’t need to eat we would have skipped. Not recommended.

Open Table was not working so we had to wait for a table, took 45 mins for our food to come out, 2/3 ladies bathroom stalls were not on order. Staff was wonderful, but not a good dining experience.

Quality of food very poor for price. Honey Crisp Chicken is basically all batter & minuscule amount chicken. Wonton Soup flavorless & wontons chewy. Don’t expect a lot from chain restaurants, but this was pretty sad, primarily because of the cost & the very poor quality of food.

Not the best meal I have ever had there. Not sure what it was but the food was bland. We've had the same items in the past at other PF Chang's and I believe, this one as well. And then after the meal was over (four of us) i dropped $120 plus tip on a meal that I didn't enjoy. Sad. Might be a long time till I go back.

Service was fine but food mediocre. While the appetizer was tasty it was deceiving thinking it was all shrimp but was only on top of a pile of fresh but dry coleslaw. Needs more sauce. Asked for appetizer then entree afterwards because I instilled that I like my food piping hot. Unfortunately, it arrived barely warm, thought it sat in back while we were eating wraps. They also ran out of the peanut teriyaki sauce. Entree was loaded with scallions and the beef was overcooked and also needed more sauce. Luckily I asked for the trio sauces to spice it up. Kinda disappointed.

Love this place

Today, my waitress Jalissa was friendly, caring and warm. I asked the manager and she has only been with the restaurant for about 10 days, but whomever trained her...did a good job...I also think she has good work ethic and values. Very pleasant service experience. The food was perfect. Lots of lettuce leaves for my chicken filling.

The service was good, but the restaurant and the food were not.

I was seated by the window at a high top, and there were carpet and rug remnants right behind my chair, they looked kind of dirty and unkept.

The orange peel chicken was flat and looked mushed (you can see a picture of the orange peel chicken that I took in 2018 and that looked really good...this last visit, it was not good...the visual appeal and the taste were lacking). The white rice was dry...dry...dry... The quality of a Chinese restaurant is highly measured by the quality of the rice served...the last few times I've been to PF Chang's the quality of the rice has been POOR. C'mmon,,,,just add some more water to make it fluffy and moist...not a big challenge.

The Chicken fried rice was good....the star of the meal.

This chain is usually good, the last visits I've had have not been good...there's a chance for improvement....
