Loved it - came for a meal with my god daughter and had a mixture of dishes; both Japanese and Mexican. Super flavours and well presented. Also really friendly service
We went based on reviews saying it was a great place to go / eat. The food was incredibly poor the tempura prawns were like something from a fish and chip shop the batter was ridiculously thick, in general the food was so poor we barely at it and left after 45 minutes. Very disappointing and certainly not worth the effort of a visit.
The food was very average. The service was too intense, it made you feel rushed. We hadnt even finished & the waiters were taking the dishes away. Twice we had to ask not to take what we hadn’t finished.
We had lunch menu , lovely food and great service
Service and food were very poor and would have had a more enjoyable meal at Wagamama’s. From the minute we got in we were rushed and within half an hour had eaten and been given the bill. We weren’t given any recommendations for the food and told to order a certain amount of food per person and that’s all!
Was recommended by a number of people to come here but never again
We Have never had food that was soooo spicy it was inedible every dish was worse ! We have been to many Asian fusion Japanese and Mexican restaurants before but this was ridiculous .we wanted to say something at the end of dinner but our waiter was nice and just paid up and left very expensive meal and left hungry ! Maybe there was a other chef on duty !
Service, as always is exceptional. Cocktail menu is great to start with a few drinks before dinner.
Faves include the edamame brand in lemon and chilli (amazing), the habanero matchstick chicken and especially the bincho grill (baby chicken, served on a smoking pot).
Only let down, and this is me being miserable, is there was an Xmas party in the bar going absolutely mental- so we had to move tables, as far away as we could, to hear ourselves think. Ruined the first half of the evening to be honest. But I’ve been here enough times to know that it is not a regular occurrence
Very impressive place. Swanky and seriously well designed. The staff were very prompt and gave an excellent service. I personally found the music levels high and the choice of music quite harsh, but admittedly I am on the upper end of my forties so I don’t mind if anyone disagrees with me on that. The prices reflect the venue. Food was very good, great flavour, plates well set out. Very good ingredients. Every dish was splendid. However, I was quite disappointed with the dessert. Chocolate thingy in a bento box was quite small and flavourless. It reminded of the kind of dessert you would get at a Wetherspoons when I told the gentleman waiter he struck it off the bill. Excellent. I have to say every other dish was really lovely. Overall a grand experience.
Very very expensive for what you receive. Very small portions and not amazing in quality. Also extremely loud restaurant.
Very pleasant evening
Stunning place to visit. Food was tasty. Staff were attentive.
Great atmosphere & amazing food which was reasonably priced. Will be back again!
Incredible dining experience with fabulous service. The food was gorgeous and the atmosphere was brilliant with a DJ playing background music all night.
Overall experience was great, apart from the lady who took our name as we walked in. She was very rude and her tone was not great. Apart from that the food was amazing, the waiter was good, but felt he had too many tables to wait on. The cocktails we had to start when we sat at the bar were lovely, one of the best we have tasted.
Restaurant is very nice. Food is very tasty and was served quick. Portions were small but it was really good
The food, service and ambiance of the restaurant was great and a lovely venue to celebrate a birthday. Would highly recommended ❤️
Fantastic food and amazing service. Great setting for a lovely meal to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The food was truly beautiful and the service second to none. Highly recommend and will visit again.
Great vibe and the staff were excellent - striking the perfect balance of being attentive without being overbearing. Food menu threw us a little at first - we didn't know what kind of food to expect and Mexican/ Japanese is unusual - but the staff were really helpful with recommendations (as was the couple on the table next to us) and the food was outstanding. Especially loved the Japanese glazed aubergine and home-made guacamole. A little pricier than places we would normally go, but this place is in a different league, and in my opinion worth paying more for as a special treat. Can't wait to go back to try other dishes on the menu we couldn't fit in this time round.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere!
Would love their restaurant soundtrack too!
Great food and great service, some dishes were a little poxy and were value for money, both other were absolutely fabulous and definitely outweighed anything negative
An unusual dining experience - definitely not a 'run of the mill' establishment. The food was amazing and the staff very knowledgable and friendly. The music by the resident DJ was energetic but didn't overpower. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
Contacted Peter Street with my complaints and waiting for response.
Food is different than shown online. Waiter explained the food concept is served in the middle and to share. We ordered the experience where it said no where that the price was per person and not to share. The food was way too much and when we asked for a break between courses they just continued to rush out the food straight away with no time to breathe! The bill came to twice what we had expected and we had to add on the one item we wanted that was stated to be included online.
Beautiful place and some delicious food. But the waiters and online menu needs further clarity. As it made for an embarrassing end to the meal.
Amazing quality food and service from start to finish. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys an evening of fine dining.
We had excellent service from Rafat and the food was amazing.
Service was great - our waiter Fineas gave us very good advice and recs. Food was excellent both the Japanese and Mexican and the puds. The tacos were a bit itchy - might disappoint some people. Also the electronic music was a bit loud at times like being in a rave rather than a restaurant. I liked the music but found it too intrusive. Despite this, would definitely visit again and recommend it to foodies.
Great Tapas mixer from Japanese and Mexican delicacies. Excellent service and ambience.
Keep it up !
The food was so spicy and poor, so expensive as well
Outstanding service from all staff, absolutely excellent food, and the best tequila menu I've seen in Manchester which was very exciting!
Good food and great service!
As always amazing food in a great atmosphere , love this place .
service was amazing, and the food was stunning, cocktails were yummy. really nice atmosphere, loved the dj. was made to feel welcome. would definitely come back!
Really cool environment, Joey who served us was excellent, food spot on, music progressive, really enjoyed!
Excellent service, food was of a really high quality and cocktails were outstanding . The pre-theatre set menu was great value for money. Quiet even on a Friday night if you go quite early. Would definitely visit again.
Food was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. Staff where friendly and knowledgable, althugh the service was slow. The setting was simply stunning very quiet as it was lunch time but nice vibe.
Food is poor, menu is not 'fusion' but confusion!
Ambience and service good. But food lets it down which is a great shame.
What a lovely setting, tables not too near together and plenty room. We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal with excellent service. Will defiantly be going again in the near future and would recommend it.
Service was amazing.
Stayed for a drink after in the bar.
Great cocktail menu and lovely food
The food was quite nice with a few delicious dishes. However, two or three were rather bland. One in particular was £25 and was only ok, so certainly not good value for money. When I told some colleagues that I had gone to this restaurant, they said they felt the same - that the food was quite nice but far too expensive for what it was.
Beautifully presented food. Full of different flavors. Interesting combination of cuisines. We were early diners 5.30ish so place was very quiet. But buzz picked up as we were leaving.
My third visit and it is equally as excellent every time.
The vegetarian tasting menu is a heavenly collection of delightful little explosions of sensory pleasure. Taste, texture and satisfaction.
