Great food, attentive service throughout. Went for bottomless brunch and we could vary drinks choices, they weren't restrictive. it was great.

Was a Birthday celebration but that wasn’t important even if it hadn’t have been it was such a special day for all of us the food the service the place absolutely superb and can’t wait to return again just to say my steak was one of the best I’ve ever had

My wife and I recently visited Peru Perdu for a Friday afternoon treat. Wow! What a fabulous experience. The service was first class with explanations about the food and the added bonus was the management offering additional starters for us to try.
Both the tuna and salt cod starters were excellent and the chicken and Uraguayan wet aged steak out of this world.
Peruvian cocktails, starters, two glasses of wine, coffee, main courses and a dessert all under £120.00. Brilliant value.
I was really pleased to find a Peruvian restaurant in Manchester after having kept an eye out for years, and it didn’t disappoint.
We went for the small ceviche plates, although there are large plates and steak for those who want them.
The food was fantastic with a great spicy heat. The wine was also fantastic.
My only moan is about the beer. I had a pint in the before before our meal, and it wasn’t up to scratch, didn’t taste quite right. But otherwise, everything was great, I would like to go again, and have already recommended it to friends.
Loved the pisco sour with a feather! Great steaks as always.
Food we had was very good would definitely order the rib eye steak again. Pick Monday early evening so place was very quiet. Staff seemed very nice
I’m Peruvian, so the menu was more Peruvian inspired, fusion. If you go with that in mind, it is very enjoyable. Very nice food and drinks! Totally recommend it.
Just please check the typos in the menu: huevos and Uruguayan were misspelled. We tried to tell this, but we got the feeling the staff didn’t listen. So hope writing it here helps! 😊

The only thing I’m not sure about is making all pisco sours vegan rather than offering a vegan option - it doesn’t quite taste the same and I would have loved the original Peruvian version.
The only other problem is the fact that it’s part of a pop-up restaurant concept so I’m sad it’s only going to be there for a few months! We need a permanent version in Manchester :-)

Had a lovely evening at Peru Perdu for my partner’s birthday. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The food was very very nice - I’d highly recommend the duck tostada to start and the dulce de lèche cheesecake. The steaks were well cooked and buttery. Will definitely go back soon.

Peru Perdu is paradise lost. The menu is stunning, exotic and expertly executed. The owner/concept designer Angus is the most convivial host who made a special effort to make our little trio feel like old friends. The service is exceptional with friendly and diligent staff who are attentive without being overly obsequious. This is now my favourite Manchester restaurant, well done team!
The Pisco Sours were delicious, our server recommended the watermelon and coffee which was really tasty.
The salt cod empanada was a bit disappointing, so hopefully the recipe can be revised to better balance the corn and fish. The ceviche was tasty and my friends enjoyed their pork belly mains.
I'd definitely go back again and recommend it to others.

I'm Peruvian and the food was less than impressive. The ceviche dishes weren't traditional; there was no taste of lime, spiciness, or touch of saltiness, rather, they were more like dishes you'd find at a sushi restaurant (if it were a Peruvian-Japanese fusion restaurant, then I'd have enjoyed it). The crab ceviche tasted more like tuna salad and the tuna ceviche was just raw tuna. The humita was deconstructed and made of yellow sweet corn; real humitas are made of white maize, whereas what I was served was more like mush. The empanadas weren't quite traditional either; no olives, eggs, or spiciness. I did enjoy the frozen pisco sours. They were delicious and citrusy, just as they should be. You also did not have other staples of the Peruvian cuisine on the menu: papa a la Huancaina, lomo saltado, arroz con pollo, causa, and other dishes people would likely really enjoy.
Overall, I was disappointed, because it simply isn't real Peruvian food.
All very nice except that service was very slow. We did go during the soft opening so that was understandable.
The staff are an absolute asset to this place. They recommended dishes and couldn’t not do enough to welcome us.
The tata rump steak wasn’t one of the best steaks we’ve had in Manchester for a while.
It was quite cold but we were offered blankets so was fine then.

Literally the best steak in Manchester. The 500g ribeye is to die for and the Food quality and value blows some of the “swankier” places in Manchester out of the water. Gray place will be back.
